I do like the food here and I usually bring visitors from out of town to try their ceviche and pupusas. On Friday night, June 5, 2026, my party saw a big golden poodle with pink painted ears in the kitchen. A few moments later it barked really loud and you saw the dog walk through the back of the dining room only to proceed back into the kitchen. It was already about 10 minutes after we ordered our food and I almost wanted to leave because of it. This is probably the last time I'll visit since the food is good, but the service was also lacking. The server forgot our drink order. My boyfriend ordered a pint of beer and they brought out a whole pitcher with just 1 rimmed glass. I ordered the seafood fajita and there were only 3 pieces of shrimp with lots of chicken and steak. My party of 3 adults and 2 kids came in around 11am on a Sunday, it was not really busy and we were seated right away. We have been to the other Catrachos I think twice, the menu lists many of the same things. This location has a different vibe to it. It's more polished in a way. A lot of attention into the decor. Our waitress was nice. Our food didn't take long to cook, but tasted really fresh. My mother in law and my orders get mixed up and we didn't realize until later. (Just cheese versus chicharron pupusas) The pupusas were spectacular! The red tomato based sauce and the cabbage (cortido) that make the pupusa a cohesive meal were also amazing. I can't wait to have them again. I ordered a side of rice and it wasn't what I was expecting, but it was ok. I think it needed a little more seasoning. My husband really enjoyed his balieada. We love it here so much!!! Both locations are great, I haven't notice a difference in their food from one location to the other. This time we went to their second one. The staff here is super nice and accommodating. We always get the same thing here: the bean and cheese pupusa and the zucchini and cheese pupusa, and of course a super baleada with chicken. The food came out really fast. The portions are big. Their curtido is addictive I want to eat it on its own. I also love that they give you free chips and salsa and bean dip for while you're waiting. read more

We came here on a Sunday evening around 4:30pm with some friends and were seated right away. It wasn't too busy. The place is very spread out and you don't feel like you're on top of other people. Big plus in my book! They had live music - not an entire band, but a woman with a pretty good voice singing to some backing tracks in Spanish. After she finished, they played bachata and other music. The only thing is the music was too loud. My hearing isn't great and the music was even loud for me. It made it difficult to talk without yelling. I ordered two papusas. If I would've known they were big I would've only ordered one. I ordered one with chicken and the other with steak, and both with cheese. They were really good! I also ordered Horchata - it was a bit nuttier that what I'm used too but that's the El Salvadoran take on it. I liked it. Service was great. Our waitress was very attentive. There is a designated parking lot for this restaurant and if you'd like to drink, you'll need to show your ID at the door. For Pupusas, we loved the Steak & Cheese and the Chicharron & Cheese. This is the second location of theirs that opened up just 3 months ago so go give them some love! Me and my mother went for dinner on a Wednesday evening and had a lovely experience. We were seated immediately and quickly were given the chips, salsa, and beans. We have never had Honduran or Salvadorian food before so this was our first experience with it. Our waitress was so kind and patient with us as we asked them plenty of questions of what are the best dishes, and what some of them contained. We were told the Pupusas and Baleada were the most popular so we decided to try both those. The fillings were nothing too crazy (still yummy) but my favorite aspect was that flatbread on the outside. Soooo yummy on both dishes. They also have sauce and vegetables to add some more flavor which I thought paired really nicely. If I had to chose between the two dishes I tried, I would go with the pupusa again. YUM. We ordered two pupusas and were pleasantly surprised when a third one was brought out for free as part of a buy 2, get 1 free deal. The most impressive aspect of this place was the prices. O. M. G. For two people our total came out to 14 dollars (before tip) and we were both full by the end of our meals. The decorations as well were so cute inside and had comfy chairs/booth seating. I came here for dinner alone, and right off the bat, the hostess sat me in a small room with a blank wall. I was already dining solo at least give me something to look at! The food was okay overall. The chips and salsa were a great start, fresh and flavorful.I had the Carne Asada Plus. the steak was well-seasoned and the chorizo was just fine, though I'm not really a fan. The rice was basic, the guacamole portion was tiny, and the refried beans were super dry. I also tried the red sangria, which is usually my go to drink. Unfortunately, this one missed the mark, it tasted more like juice than sangria. I couldn't taste any red wine at all which was a letdown. On the bright side the server was really nice and helpful. Came on a Sunday night with some friends for seated right away. They have a tiny little shop you can buy goods when you walk in. Music was too loud. They had a lady doing like karaoke and it was ok. It was just loud. I don't understand the tvs. Beautiful restaurant and ruined it with tvs. The pupusas are really good. I got beans and cheese and only 4 dollars! Yes please! Beautifully decorated new location for Catrachos. I already loved their food at their first location but they just leveled up! There is so much more seating and a nice room for large parties and groups. The food is still as amazing as ever. Oh, and there is a drive thru here!! Drive thru pupusas??? My husband and I went for the first time and this place did not disappoint! We arrive and were taken to table immediately but noticed a bread looking item when we walked in. We asked what it was, just to each other. After being sat they bring chips with salsa and beans. However they'd heard us ask about the item so they brought some for us to try. My husband ordered a tamarind margarita with the breakfast platter and I ordered a chicken plate with an original mojito, amazing!! We easily could have shared a plate, but not knowing what to order it was worth having so much food! Don't get me wrong--I love a hole-in-the-wall Honduran or Salvadoran place. I love a tiny spot with a few menu items and only a couple of employees hustling around. But I also love to see some Central American food get a real glow up, and that's exactly what's happening here at Catrachos. It's a lovely building, and it's a real vibe on the inside. We came in on a Friday night and I was immediately impressed with the spot. The decor is not quite trendy, not quite night club, but if you were to turn the lights down low and get some music bumpin, you wouldn't be totally out of line to think there may be a velvet rope somewhere. It's more like a supper club feel. The folks working, however, have a totally down to earth thing going on. I wasn't aware we had walked in on karaoke night. The music was entirely en español and the lady at the mic was singing her heart out. It's not really a "sign up here for your turn" kind of karaoke, more like the woman singing does most songs and occasionally someone else will take one. As it turns out, they did have music in English and she got a glimmer in her eye, walked my way, and had me put on an impromptu performance of "Put Your Head On My Shoulder." We really enjoyed the food and had a ton of fun. I had a long convo with the KJ, who apparently bounces back and forth between this location and the other. At the end of the night we had a whole basket full of memories. Totally different than most of the Honduran and Salvadoran places, but I love them all. read more

Catrachos is my favorite place to eat baleadas and tajadas ! My sister-in-law is from Honduras and gives this her local stamp of approval. When they bring out the salsa and chips they bring some bean dip that I could literally drink! Their juices are also very good! Service is always great ! I came here specifically to try their green aguachile because a friend recommended it and even sent me a picture of what she had when she visited. Unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. I ordered the green aguachile and was served ceviche instead. When I politely asked the waitress if this was the correct order, she insisted it was. It honestly felt like they assumed I wouldn't know the difference because I'm Asian, which made the situation even more frustrating. The photo of the green aguachile was sent from the friend and it is completely different from what they served me. Most of the servers I encountered were rude and dismissive. The only reason I'm giving 2 stars instead of 1 is because one waitress was genuinely kind and attentive, which stood out compared to the rest. As for the food, it was mediocre at best--not worth the hype. Sadly, I wouldn't recommend this place based on the service and overall experience. read more

First time trying this type of food and I'm so glad we went! We waited about 15 min on a Friday night -- totally worth it. I'd done a little research on authentic eats, and everything we ordered was really good. To start, they brought out chips with salsa and this surprisingly good bean dip--definitely a highlight. The Pescado Frito was super crispy and flavorful, the super baleada with chicken was huge and delicious, and the pupusas were fresh and cheesy. Even gave us some sauces and a pickled carrot/slaw thing (I think for the pupusas?)--but honestly, we ate it with everything. The flavors were so good. We also ordered the Cena Isla De La Bahia -- great flavors and portions all around. Service was great too -- not just our server, but multiple staff checked in on us to make sure we were good and enjoying the food. Can't wait to come back and try more... and definitely coming for karaoke next time read more

Personal opinion, parking is great but getting out of the parking is a hassle since its on a busy road. The atmosphere is beautiful, from the chairs to the lights it was beautiful and bought out the vibrant colors. The food is heaven sent from the angels above. My server was amazing, she was super helpful and super informative about the food. They serve chips with salsa and beans which was amazing id recommend getting extra salsa just because i ate all of mine and didnt . I got a platter and it came with lots of items which i highly recommend if you cant choose on one thing, i will say they do offer beans four ways which is nice because i got texture food issues. Keep in mind its three different countries in one spot. I think it was Salvadoran tamales on the platter since there was potatoes inside so it was a bit more filling. The plantains were perfectly cooked and it left me wanting more, which they do have a side you can order. They do have a small "shop" its off to the side and they sell a couple items from premade tamale masa to candy. Overall, I'd come again on edibles so i can eat more. read more

This place was absolutely amazing. I got the carne asada steak, which was super flavorful and cooked perfectly. It came with two tortillas that were homemade and very thick and flavorful and served hot and fresh. I also got the chicken and bean pupusa, which was equally hot, fresh, flavorful and simply outstanding. Great clean, comfortable atmosphere -- and had a live singer of Latino songs to complete the perfect night (we were there on a Saturday night). Everyone else in our party also loved their food.
