I like the food here. It reminds me of Mexican food I used to eat back in Southern California. They have an amazing Aguachiles, chips are always fresh, servers are polite and attentive and I've seen the drinks other people order and they look good. I want to like Catrine's because La Terrazza (the previous restaurant) was our long time favorite but Catrine's has left a lot to be desired each time we've gone. My biggest takeaway: it's EXPENSIVE. I understand prices in general are up but the quality of their food is not on par with the prices. This is a standard Mexican restaurant trying to charge upscale Mexican prices. The salsa is good, I appreciate individual dishes for everyone at the table. However last time we went, we finished a whole basket of chips before we got a water (much less ordered our drinks.) The servers were more interested in cleaning other tables than waiting on us. Even though it took longer than it should have to order, when we did finally order our food came fast. Margaritas are very average. Everything is average. Not in any hurry to return. read more

Fantastic find with great atmosphere and great Mexican cuisine. Under new ownership, this place offers a great ding experience with excellent service. Offering a great drink menu, including a flight of specialty Margaritas. The portions are quite large and the flavors are well-balanced. The Viking burrito was excellent as was the Shrimp and Rice. My daughter took us here this evening and I wasn't expecting much due to the limited reviews but I was surprised as the quality of the was good, the service spot on, prices were reasonable, and the atmosphere was nice (no TV's). My family and I went there to eat lunch (husband, wife and three small kids including one infant). They put us on a table next to the exit door which was very cold despite the fact that they had many other tables open at the time. This was on Saturday December 20th, 2025. Then the food my wife ordered was not good and not cooked right so she ended up eating from my plate. The server did NOT speak English so I could not communicate with him at all since I do not speak Spanish. Then when it was time to charge our credit card, they put another tables charge on our credit card which resulted in a $67 charge but our bill was supposed to be around $45. We also complained that the soup my wife ordered was not good and not cooked right so they needed to not charge us for the soup but even with the soup included the charge should have been $45 and NOT $67. Several attempts on different days were made to talk to the restaurant on the phone about the overcharge and bad customer service and bad food. Finally the owner admitted that they had mistakenly charged another tables bill on our credit card and promised to refund $40 to our credit card and he went ahead refunded $20 at the time saying that the system won't let him process more than $20 at a time. He promised to refund another $20 on the following Monday (December 29th, 2025). On December 30th, 2025 I called the restaurant again because the promised remaining $20 refund was not processed by owner as promised but the restaurant employees advised me to call back since the owner went on vacation to Mexico and he would be back next week. The following Monday I called the restaurant again and they said he is still not back from vacation and advised me to call the following week. I called again the following week, and the restaurant employees said he is back but not at the restaurant today and they advised me to call back the next day. I called back the next day and still could not get ahold of the owner. read more

The food was amazing along with the service, best Mexican food in town! The queso dip is a must. The menu showcases pictures alongside all of their items and looks exactly alike. Very kind staff and fast service. Already ate the leftover which were amazing, I can't wait to return! read more

Absolutely blown away by this place. The Street Corn was outstanding...I will dream about it until I come back. All of the sauces were exceptional. Hands down, best Mexican Restaurant around. Nothing special about this place as it comes to taste. My biggest concern is the fact that the server that brought our food to the table was actively dripping sweat off of his forehead onto the food he was delivering. I understand it must be hot in the kitchen and these food runners are working their ass off but at least try to keep the bodily fluids from dripping off of their skin onto the food that paying customers are consuming. I should have made a fuss but I didn't want to embarrass my date. This happened a month ago and it still bothers me that I didn't speak up at the time. It wasn't the runners fault and I believe it would have embarrassed not only him but me as well for pointing it out. That being said, please watch out for yourself. There are several diseases that can be spread by human sweat. And when eating out at a restaurant people shouldn't have to be "On guard" with their food. I should have spoken up but I didn't. And I regret that because I will never forget it. I will not be going back to this restaurant. read more
