    Mocha Latte, truffles and coffee
    Annie F.

Incredible chocolate and coffee shop! I stopped by on a Saturday afternoon and there were a lot of people enjoying treats inside the shop and picking up some to go. I decided to try some of the different truffles they had, including the Raspberry Jelly, Tahini Lime, PB & J and Passionfruit Vanilla. I also ordered the Mocha Latte. Everything was incredible! The truffles were out of this world good and the flavors were spot on. The latte was also the perfect cross between espresso and hot chocolate. The service was fast and friendly, and the shop is so cute. I highly recommend ordering a drink and enjoying it in the shop!

Just had breakfast here and it was delicious! Great prices too. The everything bagel is gluten free and was one of the best bagels I have had. I also had a mocha latte which was very yummy. Staff were friendly and the food was made quickly. It's charming inside, and decorated very nicely. There's a lovely selection of chocolates!

Don't let the name fool you...yes, they make great chocolates(!!), but it's also a fantastic spot for breakfast and lunch. Baked goods as good as their chocolate & excellent panini sandwiches. And you won't find better/nicer/more efficient help behind the counter anywhere in Catskill..or a cuter spot to hang out!

Wanted to make sure I stopped in between tours of Olana and Thomas Cole's house. They weren't making anything today, but it is all done in house. They make their own caramel, chocolate, brownies, bagels... they do it all!. I tried the dark chocolate salted caramel and peanut. The peanut was a fancy peanut butter cup... but it was very peanut like versus peanut butter with dark chocolate- yum! The salted caramel was actually salty... it was delicious and creamy. We also enjoyed a delightful Americano. The staff were great as soon as we walked in the door and were very helpful. You must go in for coffee and chocolate!

We love the chocolate shop! A large selection of homemade candies, chocolates, et cetera and a smaller curated case of pastries and desserts. traditional coffee bar and lunch. Everything is delicious, people are friendly, and the interior is welcoming and beautiful. Kid and pup friendly on patio. :-)

The chocolate was very mediocre for how expensive it was. The service was very friendly though- no complaints there.

Pretentious staff. Coffee was terrible. Prices were awful. It's a shame really because they could have created a much better experience.

I also have to say -- I genuinely do not understand some of the comments saying the waitstaff were rude or uninviting. Every female waitress we encountered was beyond gorgeous, cheerful, smiling constantly, and so kind to both me and my older great aunt. We got so many sweet compliments throughout the day and everyone made us feel very welcome. Michelle behind the bar was especially lovely and pours a STRONG drink, which we appreciated Honestly, I'm surprised they weren't busier for Memorial Day weekend, although maybe the bigger crowd came earlier in the day. Food-wise, the appetizers and seafood specials were very satisfying and obviously fresh. We ordered the crab cakes, soft shell crab special, their clam special (half clam casino / half clam oreganata), and a Bloody Mary topped with what had to be 12 shrimp. The crab dishes especially were fantastic -- those crab cakes were PACKED with crab and tasted incredibly fresh. I do want to leave a couple honest criticisms though. I was not impressed with the mussels in white wine sauce, despite multiple waitresses recommending them. This is a dish I order frequently in NYC and Long Island, so maybe my standards are high, but the sauce was unusually sweet -- my great aunt noticed it immediately too. It almost tasted like a sweet white wine was used, which just doesn't work for this kind of dish. The wine either tasted low quality or maybe wasn't cooked off enough. One other thing that disappointed me: the drawn butter is definitely not real butter. It tasted like a vegetable oil-based substitute. For a seafood restaurant serving fresh crab and lobster, I really think real butter should be standard. That said, I would absolutely come back here for the vibes alone. Beautiful waterfront setting, friendly staff, strong drinks, and fresh seafood made for such a relaxing holiday afternoon.

We were sat at a large table on the huge patio, and it was good, even though the live music ended a bit early. Our server was lovely, her smile never faltering even when my mother insisted we sing for a birthday boy at the table. Personally, I want to eat seafood anytime I'm near the water, and this was no exception. We shared oysters (solid, but very pricey), baked clams (quite small, but tasty enough), sesame crusted ahi tuna (solid), a beet salad special (well balanced and one of the best things we had), and fish and chips for my kids (solid). In the future, I'll probably stick with starters because those were a better bet than the mains. We shared the Cod Mediterranean and the Honey Soy Glazed Salmon. Both dishes were undersized, underseasoned, and overcooked. That's a bad combination. If I have anything to say about it, and I usually don't, we'll be back for drinks and apps but forego the mains next time.

The place is a nice and quaint diner you'd see straight from a movie. Food is typical of what you'd expect from a diner. Big menus. I split a stack of blueberry waffles and vege omelette with my wife. Also some chicken tenders with another friend. Nothing is going to knock your socks off, but all of it tasted delicious after hiking around for a few hours. Service was exceptional and the waitress who handled us was amazing. Very down to earth, always checking in on us to make sure our coffee was topped off or if we needed more sauces etc. It was also my birthday so she gave me a free slice of cake which was very nice. I'm blanking on her name, but she had kinda shorter spikey hair and some tattoos. She's awesome. At any rate, great spot if you're looking for some standard diner fare after a nice day in the Catskills. Great service, good food, would definitely recommend.

Well, I do thank this location, because this location had an employee that opened up a new line so that I could pass directly into a line so I wouldn't have to wait to pay for the service. Maybe seeing as I had cash and had the Gas Cash Card in hand (and handy), maybe triggered them to see that I didn't pose a major threat to making the transaction be easy for them to complete. They didn't ask or remind me that I had a Speedy Rewards account I could use at the register, but I remembered the card just after handing them the Gas Cash Card and they completed the transaction smoothly. The money was added and I got a receipt as I asked. I went out and pumped. I had no real problems there. The ground still looks a little old and predates the Speedway pumps, but they work. The fact that the Walmart across the street helps, makes this place a go-to place when I'm in Catskill. I had been here before, but it had been a long time and this time was different : they didn't realize that this time it would be the experience I'd be reviewing about.

What bothered me was after the pharmacist pulled the covid booster needle out of my arm, they went to discharge the cartridge from the needle. I saw a large arch of fluid shoot out of the needle. That was vaccine that was supposed to be in my arm. I didn't say anything at the time, but wish I had. Left there very unhappy, indeed. I visited the store on Saturday, December 11, 2021, to pick up some medicines for my wife. They were controlled substances and subject to some restrictions. When I arrived at the store on Saturday I found the pharmacy hours had been severely reduced. The pharmacy was closed on both Saturdays and Sundays. It also appeared that weekday hours were also reduced. Other Walgreens stores were unable to honor the prescription because the medicines were controlled substances. I did obtain them on Monday. I do not argue against Walgreens changing hours of operation for whatever reason. (The stated cause was that pharmacists were not available.) My real concern is that there was no notification to customers, such as me, about the weekend shutdown. We have received many phone calls and emails from the store promoting items or services. I suggested that the store hire weekday pharmacists from other Walgreens at double the normal salary for Sunday, December 12, at least. There seemed to be general apathy in the store. Adjacent signs on the closed pharmacy windows indicated that the pharmacy was closed on weekend days while the adjacent sign indicated normal hours.
