    Tuscan Delight

Stopped by Deja Brew in Tannersville after a quick google search of what's around and left absolutely obsessed. I ordered the Tuscan's Delight and honestly didn't expect to finish the whole sandwich but I devoured it all. Every bite was packed with flavor, and the combo of the balsamic glaze and pesto was perfection. I genuinely wish this place was closer to where I live, because I'd be a regular. Even my husband, who I practically dragged in with zero expectations, admitted it was the best sandwich of its kind he's ever had. That's saying something! I also grabbed a caramel macchiato and it hit the spot. It smooth, rich, and just the right amount of sweet. If you're anywhere near Tannersville, do yourself a favor and stop by Deja Brew. Cozy vibes, great service, and food that seriously surprises you in the best way.

I am absolutely in love with this shop! There are yummy pastries (had the brownie and it was SO soft and decadent) and coffee items to buy! They have sandwiches but I didn't get one this time, I will for sure next time though! This is a great gathering space with a take a book leave a book shelf, and a shelf with games to use in the sitting area. This place is incredibly cozy and warm! A super cool plus is the owner sells homemade skin and bath care items! Great people running the show and wonderful staff helping out. I'm telling all my friends and going again sometime soon :)

Sprinkle covered sugar cookie and large iced coffee

Found this coffee shop as I was leaf peeping in the Catskills. The town was very busy with the colors near peak and gorgeous weather for the first weekend of October. Free Parking was readily available in a public lot just across the road with access via a crosswalk. The catchy name and the appearance of the shop made me choose this shop and it was a good choice. They offer baked goods with a few choices of cookies brownies and pastries still available mid afternoon. They also have breakfast sandwiches to accompany the many coffee and tea drinks they offer. I went the simple route, ordering a large iced coffee and a sprinkle covered sugar cookie. I'm sure it was the owners that took care of me with a gentleman taking my order and getting my cookie and a woman making my coffee. They were both personable and friendly. I opted to eat outside since it was so beautiful but there was plenty of inside seating in a connected dining room that also had a large shelf of books that intrigued me but I did not check out. The outdoor seating options were rocking chairs or high top tables on the covered porch and Adirondack chairs in the "front yard". I was able to enjoy everything about my visit. The cookie took me back to the days when the grocery store regularly had large fresh cookies. The coffee was well blended and tasty and i enjoyed my view of Main Street where people were out and about.

I went to Deja Brew twice during my short visit and they left a great impression! The owners were so kind and gave great recommendations. As a Puerto Rican I was so excited to find out they serve only Puerto Rican coffee! I got so much, but what i do remember getting is coffee, the Sausage, egg, and cheese, and what's now called the Symphony of the Forest, and a cookie. Everything tasted fresh and homely. You can taste the craftsmanship put into everything from the seating area to the food. I cannot wait for my next visit.

Quick view of the bakery cases- yum!!

I was waiting for my car to be serviced and found this little gem a few doors down. Staff was very friendly, all of the baked goods looked delicious, and the bacon, egg, and cheese I ordered was amazing! It was on a long roll and almost pressed like a panini. I also got an apple danish which was delicious. I hope they are able to stick around because I will be back!

This is my "latte". Literally hot black coffee (which wasn't even close to being delicious like a just black pour over can be).

Their baked goods- yes, the cinnamon rolls but don't overlook the seasonal GF cake they have- dates, cranberries- it's always delicious. Communication was seamless, they helped create a custom birthday cake with flavors I requested, and the entire ordering experience was smooth and stress-free. The food was outstanding. From the bread and cinnamon rolls to the focaccia and cake, everything was fresh, delicious, and a huge hit with our group. Every item felt thoughtfully made, and it was clear why so many people rave about their bakery. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is the pickup experience. I had a prepaid order of over $250 scheduled for 8:00 a.m. pickup, right when the café opened. We arrived about 15 minutes early.. because it was raining and simply hoped to wait somewhere covered until pickup time. We weren't expecting the order early or asking anyone to rush. Given the size of the order, the custom cake, and the fact that I had brought someone with me to help carry everything, we just wanted to avoid standing outside in the rain. When I knocked on the door, I could see several staff members inside. One employee looked at us and gestured toward the clock, essentially pointing out that they weren't open yet. I completely understand that we arrived early, and I respect opening hours. What bothered me was how the situation was handled. A simple "We'll be open at 8" or "Sorry, we can't let anyone in until opening" would have been perfectly reasonable. Instead, the interaction felt unnecessarily cold. Even once we were inside, the employee helping us came across as dismissive and unwelcoming. It was especially disappointing because every interaction I'd had over email leading up to the event had been so thoughtful, friendly, and accommodating. The food was exceptional, and the planning process was excellent. I just wish the same level of hospitality had carried through to the pickup experience. Had that interaction been handled with a bit more warmth, this would have easily been a 5-star review. Ratings: * Food & ambiance: 10/10 * Communication email: 10/10 * Pickup Experience: 4/10

It wasn't too busy when we arrived in middle of the afternoon, and we were warmly greeted. You place your order at the counter and then seat yourself. Water and cups are out too. I went with the Pad Thai ($27 with chicken) and also got to try some of the fried chicken ($17), a special. Prices seemed a little high but the dishes were delicious, with portions being reasonable and the Pad Thai not being overwhelmingly sweet. The fried chicken was magically crunchy outside and moist inside, with an irresistible dipping sauce not too cilantro-y. Coffees were delicious and strong and the breakfast burrito was truly the best breakfast burrito I think I've ever had. The space is so cute. I read on their website while planning the weekend that they are open for breakfast, lunch, dinner and have live music on the weekends. It looks like they do it all. We stopped in early and had our choice of tables. The space is big, clean and perfectly calm. Great spot for a slow breakfast. After ordering at the counter, they brought everything over to our table. I got the oatmeal bowl. Delicious and simple. However, I couldn't help but steal many many bites of the breakfast burrito. Seriously, get it! A great spot with good food, a friendly team and a cozy vibe.
