So of course, I had to make an appointment with her, after seeing other Dermatologist that have fallen short of treating my skin condition. She's very detailed in her examination and in the way she explains your condition and ultimately the treatment. She takes her time and talks to you like you are more than a patient. "Like Family". Her care doesn't end at the office, she follows up with you to make sure everything is going well through every phase of the treatment. She's like the Britannica of Dermatology, literally. It's always a pleasure seeing her and listening attentively to her diagnosis and recommendation which leads to a great outcome.

My issue began in 2020 at age 22; I started to notice a slight increase in pimples (my guess is due to a rise in stress levels). Then, in 2021--soon after I began taking Whey Protein and overusing products in response to the increase in pimples--LOTS of little flesh colored bumps began to appear on my face. There were too many of them to control, so I scheduled an appointment with Dr. Goldwasser. I told her everything that had been going on and what I had been doing, which she recorded, and in response gave me very knowledgeable/helpful feedback. She knew right away what she was looking at on my face: Comedonal Acne. Warning me that it would take some time, she promised that she would transform my skin, writing a plan out that included some diet advice and great product advice. Her promise speaks through my after photo, which you should see for yourself attached, as I am so happy! Furthermore, I loved the products that she recommended so much, that I continue to use them to this day. Thank you Dr. Goldwasser, you are a truly iconic doctor, the BEST dermatologist :)

Long-time Patient, So why is the Office Manager calling me to insult me?…read more My whole family have been patients at Crystal Run Dermatology for years, and in general the staff and doctors have been wonderful. I have been getting monthly facials and peels from Magda for years, and she is lovely and professional. So why did the office manager, Susan, call me today on my cell phone to insult me, lie about me and make me wonder whether I should stop being a patient? I never met Susan, but she called me, and said I was rude and a liar, gossiping with patients, and insulting her to other doctors there, as well as to her supervisor. She even said I was calling children there ugly (?!) I am frankly appalled that someone so unprofessional and vile is allowed to work in a professional doctor's office. Perhaps this was connected to last December, when I was told I had to wait two months for my next appointment, which was not good for me. In that case, Susan's supervisor took care of the issue, and it was handled fine. My family is considering whether to go back at all, and I would not recommend this office to anyone, given the outrageous and unprofessional behavior of the office manager. Di D.

He was very concerned about using too aggressive of an approach and wanted to most gentle, non pharmaceutical option. Carrie St. Amand discussed all of the causes of acne and gave him a variety of treatment approaches and lifestyle modifications. He now has a much clearer complexion AND a clearer understanding of the contributing factors to his skin issue. We are both so pleased with this practice and their approach. I would recommend them to anyone in need of expert advise. They are certainly worth the wait. If we wanted to see Dr. Bowden or Weitzner, the wait would have been longer. Ami Dalal spent time with me. listened to my concerns, prescribed medications that were effective and made sure to follow up with me. she made excellent recommendations and now I am acne free! When my family member went she was told by the medical assistant that the doctor would not be able to do any testing or treatment for hair loss but could still look at it. When my family member said she wanted to cancel the appointment the medical assistant said she's confused about why she wouldn't still want to be looked at. She told us that she should just go to her primary care doctor if she actually needs it treated and showed no empathy for the fact that my family member was lied to about the fact that this was a specialist who could help and had her time wasted.

She also asked if I'd be interested in learning more improving the condition of my skin, and suggested a number of alternative treatments at various price points. She seems wicked smart, up-to-date, but also able to relate to her patients. Best of all, going to her offices feels like going to the spa rather than going to a gross grubby doctor's office! Was easy to find parking, and easy walk to the office. Checked in, and pleasant clerk that checked me in. Didn't wait long at all, and went in the office and to the back straightaway. Nurse was pleasant- again told me to take off my socks, but i kept them on because I can be easily cold. Took off all my clothes except my underwear, and socks. Was given a paper gown, which may not be the greatest as far as comfort, but this visit i felt it was a little more comfortable. Exam was quick, doctor was pleasant, and only moved the gown of the parts she examined. For example, she looked at my chest, covered one side, and uncovered the other, and tucking it in the gown after was done. Kudos for respecting modesty here, and what the patient wants to do. for example, i have vitago, and can get a prescription for it, but didn't want it because I have a weird shower routine sometimes. Dr. Amy Adams respected my decision on that, and of course respected my modesty. i got dressed, made an appointment for next year, Then went on my merry way. Oh and side note: I was away and kept getting referral messages from this office, and well 1, my doctor was slow(not to mention seemed to not want to write me a referral at first) , and sent the referral very last minute, and 2, they did mess up and say they needed a referal after they recieved it. However, in the message they did apologize, and the insurance was checked at check in.

My insurance charges me $80 for said injections. 7 appointments later and it was finally decided that these injections don't work and there is nothing the practice can do but refer me out. I wouldn't be so u happy except by January I had mentioned the injections do not seem to work. So $300 later they agreed. I will be finding a new derm for this specific problem.

I sent a message the owner Eric Schweiger as well as Laura Fink, Chief Marketing Officer regarding…read morethe billing team mishandling my bills, telling me that I am collections when I am not as well as having multiple office visits for an issue that never got resolved that another Provider was able to remedy in one visit doing the same intervention. It does not appear that they are interested in how staff conducts themselves or how a provider performs in the practice. This concerns me as a patient but then again, the office manager did make it clear to me that she "didn't understand why I continue to schedule with them when I have so many issues". I would be very very cautious scheduling with Schweiger. One: Their billing team has mishandled every single claim. Two: They have two Providers in Monroe that perform incorrect interventions or don't do them properly. Three: You can never get in contact with an actual person when you have an issue.
