The soaps are made from the milk they get from said goats. How awesome! The owner was very nice and her display was COVID compliant! The handmade soaps are stored behind the table away from touchy hands. If you want to smell the scent, she holds a bar behind a table fan and you get a whiff of the scent. So clever! 3 for $15 for 1 for $6. The size of the soaps are quite generous. I just used one this morning and I am totally hooked. The soap is very moisturizing and does not suds up crazy like some other handmade soaps which always makes me suspicious of how a soap that is supposedly loaded with so many oils and goat milk manage to suds up so much! They also sell shampoo bar which I also purchased and may write an update after testing it out. They also have doggy soaps! I so reget not getting it!! They do take online orders and offer free shipping for +$25 if you ever come across this vendor, definitely check them out.

So far I have tried the almond soap and the cucumber mint body/hoof butter. Everything smells heavenly. The soap lathers well, rinses clean, and is moisturizing. The body/hoof butter is not heavy at all. I would describe it as whipped. A luxury to put on dry skin. Support this local business!

Made sure she didn't eat it all at once. She woke us up at 6am yacking up the sweet potato and left orange vomit everywhere. No idea if it was old or bad but stay away. Honestly what a disappointment. You can get everything there at any other pet store. There's nothing local or unique. Some Grateful Dead toys but they're from a brand. Some slightly more elevated brands that maybe you can't find at PetSmart but that's it. The girl working the counter was incredibly rude. She was on the phone talking loudly for at least 5 minutes. Said she was talking to her boss to a customer she was ringing up at the register but then talked about personal stuff on the phone. The store is very small and cramped. Even though it's a pet store it's not dog friendly. The girl never acknowledged my dog. I asked if they had any local baked dog treats like most small individual dog stores do, she pointed me to a shelf of big brand dog treats. I clarified and she was clueless and then said no. Waited at the register to buy something and she was looking at paperwork on a clipboard even though we were directly in front of her with our wallet out. Asked for a sweet potato treat. She shoves the container from her side of the counter at us. I asked for a bag for it. She expected me to go in there with my hands and take it. Immediately started ignoring us after we paid. It's a cute name but that's about it.

We took three dogs to vanity fur yesterday for a day at the slopes. We'd seen some questionable…read morereviews and now I know why. One of the dogs (pictured) needed some grooming and a good bath and brush. My dog is an Australian labradoodle and has a certain type of long shaggy hair which needs to be maintained. When I picked him up I was close to tears. The owner was quite short with me as she explained that she wasn't able to brush out his mats, and I could take him to a groomer and get him shaved. Excuse me? I paid $70 plus daycare plus tip to receive my dog back with an amateur haircut (uneven, one ear shorter than the other and wayyy too short) and not even a decent brush. I spent an hour when we got home brushing him out, which worked. I'm just not sure what I paid for except a dog that looks ridiculous. Are these professional groomers? I would say no. I've trimmed my dogs face and paws a few times and he always looks cute and true to his breed. Now he looks utterly ridiculous and if you saw what they did for his sanitary trim around the back end. My god. Don't do it. 2 stars is generous btw

We are used to getting our dogs groomed in Brooklyn (no complaints) but Vanity Fur is a lot cheaper, more convenient , and the quality is just as good. I can't recommend them enough. FYI the people that work here are really nice too. The ties were a nice touch too.

My Daisy was terrified about grooming but now allows a full groom. A complete 180 degree turn about. And Daisy is a big girl at 125 pounds and can put up a fight and Cheyenne just amazes me how she gets her to trust.
