I can name 10 restaurants in the Brandon /Flowood/ Jackson- Metro area that has burgers with more flavor than "the Zip's Burger". The french fries were not well done. They were very soggy actually they were inedible. That's why they were left on the plate. I added salt to each bite of my burger in order to have a little bit of flavor. Yes, it is a real ground beef, hand patty burger, and real potatoes and onion rings, but they are not fried in hot oil . Therefore, they are soggy. The location inside is absolutely filthy.

For me, the biggest appeal of Waffle House has always been their hash browns, which you can get basic or topped with a variety of toppings such as chili, white sausage gravy, cheese, ham, onions and so many more items and you can combine these toppings in a multitude of ways. For my main course, I have usually gone with their patty melts or one of their egg breakfast options. I myself can see the strangeness that I have never having a waffle and a business where waffle is in their very name, but I prefer a more savory breakfast than a sweet one. If you are in the southeast United States, odds are you have probably passed a Waffle House location. It seems that they are on almost every major highway exit ramp and strategically placed throughout most cities and towns in the southeast. If you see one, give them a try.
