Loved the food at great prices not to mention the numerous pies for sale and large drinks that are bottomless

Old school feeling place in small town Texas. Great service. The food was classic diner breakfast. Loved the biscuits and gravy. The iced tea was also super fresh. Recommended!

This is a down home kind of place and the food is pretty good. Unfortunately, the prices have climbed quite a bit so make sure to check out the latest menus for actual prices

We ordered the chicken fried steak and it was tough and flavorless. The sweet tea was good and the staff was very friendly. I also enjoyed the fried mushrooms.

Loved it! The log cabin ambiance, the food was great and the people were wonderful. Will be back!

Be ready for a greasy spoon with this place. Sweet tea was great and so was the chicken fried steak. The onion rings and chili cheese tater tots were kinda greasy but this is a hole-in-the-wall greasy spoon...know that going in. Our waitress was sweet and apologetic; new cook as well as someone absent in the back cooking area. We did have to wait a long time. Restrooms were clean. #yelpelitesquad

Always excellent food, HUGE portions of homemade meals and pies. Even ordering to go the food is hot and delicious.

Like this place but is hard to get into with its front steps. Need to put in a ramp for older people.

As we walked in, the workers looked at us as they sat in the back, eating, but didn't say anything. We weren't sure if we can seat ourselves or have to wait to be seated. I said it out loud and then a female waitress said we can sit down anywhere. She was so soft spoken that I could barely make out what she was saying. We placed our orders. I had the Strawberry Banana Pancakes. They came out looking great, however, the strawberries up top were spoiled and tasted awful and rotten. Looks can certainly be deceiving. Sadly, the bananas were soaked in the strawberry syrup, which ruined the top and bottom pancakes of the stack. I was only able to eat the two in the middle and had to cut some pieces off as to not get food poisoning, since they were drenched in the spoiled strawberry syrup. When the waitress came back to ask if we were done eating, I let her know to throw out the strawberries, as they were spoiled and disgusting. She just said "ok." No apologies, no inkling of concern or care. Nothing. We then waited like two weirdos for over 20+ minutes for the check, while she went to sit down again with her family at the back table to continue eating. They must have overheard us being confused at where we can pay, when she finally got up and said that we can pay at the front and walked over with us. I was charged full price for the garbage rotten pancakes that I didn't eat. Horrible service. Watch out so you don't get poisoned, especially in the summer when fruits can spoil quickly when not properly stored.

They were open on this bright sunny morning. It is a modern small coffee shop, capable making just about any coffee concoction that you could want. The very friendly owners were managing the counter this morning. I had an Americano with a shot of cream. My wife had some kind of white mocha or something. Great tasting coffee, fair prices, fast service. They also have a few pastries, scones, and monstrous sized cookies. The name of the shop "Country Charm Coffee" is a little deceiving. There were no farm tools, saddles, or horse collars, hanging on the wall. No road signs, flour sacks, pickle barrels, or even a vintage oil company sign. It's modern city décor. There was a piece of barn tin decorating the counter. That will work. And written on the wall, "Welcome Y'all!" "Charm?" I really don't have the skill set needed to properly assess charm. I'll stick with friendly. I know what friendly is. Lastly, no drive through. I hate drive throughs anyway. I like to go in, meet the folks running the place, and see what the operation looks like. So, get out of the car, stretch, only a few steps to the front door. Call it a workout. Counts as 4 calories. After a workout like that, you earned whipped cream on your drink. The shop is one mile east of US-75 on the north side of W. White Street. Skip Buc-ee's coffee in Melissa and support this local business.
