    Peach cobbler

Seen this little place a few times on the way home from work and decided to give it a try. Customer service excellent! Didn't get his name but he was very friendly and welcoming. Got sliced brisket, ribs with double mac and cheese as my side. Added a peach cobbler. The brisket and ribs alright. Meat was tender though I thought it needed more flavor. Mac and cheese was ok, again needed more flavor in my opinion. Ending with the peach cobbler, it was solid. Maybe I'm wrong, but I feel it's rated higher because there aren't much options in the area for bbq.

Ok I think I'm picky about BBQ....no chains, only small time venues is my jam. There's one place in Dallas and one in Llano I love but this has joined their ranks! That BBQ melts in your mouth! It is so tender and full of flavor and I'm not talking about being doused in BBQ sauce! Don't let the size of the trailer discourage you....you will be missing out if you drive by!

This restaurant was featured in Texas Monthly so we went to check it out. It was well worth the drive! I'm usually can take or leave pulled pork but on this day I took and took. I got the sample platter that had a little bit of everything and everything was really good but that pulled pork was the show stopper for me. Brisket was tender, kissed with the right amount of smoke to give good flavor. The ribs were awesome, that first bite started a tastebud party in my mouth. I can't leave out the smoked Mac & cheese, I don't do sides that's my wife's department. She was like you have to try this so I reluctantly did and I'm so glad I did. It was very cheesy and creamy and you could actually taste the smoke. They definitely made me rethink my I don't eat sides philosophy. Bottom line this was really good! They are well known for their desserts too so we will go back and try some next time.

9/10. Don't believe me? Order the sampler. You'll fall in love again.

Home cooking meets Texas BBQ. And you'll get treated like family. Only bad thing is Kenneth is a Giants fan. I'm an Eagles fan. But that's what made the experience better. Football, bbq and home cooking. 9/10.

I have tried their burnt ends (amazing) their sides (all delicious) and the stuffed jalapeños. (My fave) they are full of flavor and the bacon is glazed with a delicious sauce! They are HUGE & well worth the price. The family that owns the truck are super nice! Highly recommend this bbq!

The service is very friendly ! I really appreciate that . As for the food... One thing I'll say , The Brisket was flawless ! Totally moist and melted in my mouth . 0 complaints. The sausage was ok . I didn't taste the Jalapeño at all. Unfortunately the sides were not good :( . The Mac and cheese was not cheesy , it really didn't have flavor at all . The potato salad was more like cold mashed potatoes. It wasn't horrible ... the beans were ok... if I went back , I'd only go for meat .

I was not disappointed and this will be my go to bbq spot in this area. Highly recommend and well worth the try. Great service and customer friendly. This is what what we tried: Ribs: 10/10 tender, juicy, flavorful, you can taste the passion and the developed technique. Jalapeno cheddar sausage: 10/10 bursting with flavor, seasoned just right, great quality, good snap. Cheddar and jalapeno is balanced. Very distinct and not one you can find just anywhere. Beef sausage: 10/10 bursting with flavor, great snap, great quality and also one you can't dine just anywhere. Potatoe salad: 8/10 creamy, potatoes well cooked not over cooked, good ingredients. I would have preferred a bit more seasoning and mustard. Bbq beans: 8/10 beans and ground meat based. Nice flavor, creamy, and good quality. I would have like a bit more seasoning. I did add some spicy bbq sauce and the chopped onions provided with the meal. That brought them up to a 10. Collard greens: 8/10 Smokey, seasoned, well cooked, has soul. I prefer a sweet and hot vinegar profile. These are not that but are in a class of their own. Very good and I will purchase again. Cornbread: 10/10 fluffy, moist, buttery, flavorful. Peach cobbler: 9/10 just the right sweetness. Hint of lemon. Cinnamon, brown sugar.. seasoned well. Great flavor. This is not a traditional peach cobbler due to the pie crust not being present. This one has more of a dump cake consistency. Still well worth trying and enjoying.

It's anything but small when it comes to flavor and portions. The fried Brussels sprouts are incredible--packed with flavor and easily one of my favorites. The green beans with smoked turkey are a must every time; honestly, even a medium isn't enough for me. I could finish a large on my own without a problem. And the turkey leg? Huge. It's easily enough to share with two or even three people. It's comforting to have a place like this right here in our town. If you love barbecue and Southern food, this spot is absolutely worth trying.

It is quite isolated, so I would recommend downloading your map before arriving, especially for the journey home as there is little to no data service in the area. We initially chose to sit outside with our two dogs, who are service dogs, as we wanted to be considerate of other guests, rather than assuming we should bring our dogs indoors. Unfortunately, it was over 100°F, even in the shade, so we asked if there might be somewhere inside where we could sit where we wouldn't bother other guests. There were only two tables occupied in the entire facilities, with a large separate area indoor completely empty. The server was kind enough to accommodate us in there. We tried two wine flights, eight wines in total. A few were quite good, some were just okay, and one in particular, the Lambrusco, really wasn't to my taste. Very sour compared to the usual taste of it. That said, I'm Italian and probably have a different preference when it comes to wine, so this is very subjective. The food was quite good. I had the chicken salad croissant with a side of soup, and both were enjoyable. The experience took a turn halfway through our meal. One of our dogs barked a couple of times when another dog passed outside. About five minutes later, the owner came directly to our table and, in a manner that felt quite confrontational, questioned us about what services our dogs provided. We answered, but the conversation continued with comments about service dogs being trained not to bark at other dogs. And it all felt very unnecessary and beyond uncomfortable. Considering also that we were one of the three tables occupied in the whole winery. I completely understand that businesses have policies and concerns regarding service animals, and we would have been happy to have a respectful conversation about them. However, the way this interaction was handled left us feeling judged and uncomfortable, and unfortunately it overshadowed what had otherwise been an enjoyable visit. I also found the situation particularly disappointing given that the restaurant was almost completely empty and the temperature outside was well over 100°F. Unfortunately, the way this situation was handled left such a sour taste that I know I will not be returning. I'm still giving 3 stars because I try to be fair with my reviews. Aside from this interaction, the property is beautiful, the food was good, our server was accommodating, and there were certainly positive aspects to the visit. It's just unfortunate that one interaction had such a lasting impact on an otherwise decent experience.
