Then my husband was bothered by this since I had sent him all our private info, so he called Kyle and got the same promises. Nothing again, and we keep trying to get in touch. If he's busy, just say so! But don't request all our very personal, identity documents then fall off the grid. Very very unsettling and more importantly HIGHLY unprofessional. I was looking forward to working with him! But seems like professional maturity and stability is highly lacking, beware. UPDATE FROM KFN RESPONSE: I'm a professional project manager, there is absolutely no way I would miss a meeting I had been adamantly requesting for weeks. It's disappointing how unbelievably inaccurate this response is, to the point I may need to alert Yelp itself. As soon as I questioned them on this egregious error, they told me that I am no longer a client and needed to find another tax firm. This was a few weeks before the IRS deadline of April 15th. I paid Miller Verchota good money for this advice and this is what I received in return. Very poor and neglectful advice. Never again. I would highly recommend avoiding Miller Verchota for any financial / tax advice or anything else for that matter.

Last year, when Mary Miller filed my taxes, it cost me around $120. Mary Miller was fully booked this year so they handed me over to another account, Kailey. Kailey charged me $325 for the same exact thing that Mary Miller charged me $120 to do last year. When I asked how/why I was charged this much, they explained to me that I made more than I did the previous year so it took a lot longer...apparently 3 hours longer. They ended the conversation by telling me to go elsewhere, which I gladly did. If you do have to use them, only use Mary Miller.
