The camp is surrounded by homes and residence who have lived on mount hermon property for years. If you were to walk the grounds and trails you would see the homes. There are several lodging accommodations, from economy, standard, and deluxe lodging. The lodging various from more rustic cabin lodging (economy), to more spacious hotel settings in the standard and deluxe lodging. The lodging, food, sequoia aerial adventure course, painting activity and program are all included in the price. I had the economy single occupancy that was $488. I was in the Manzanita (economy lodging) towels and blankets were provided, as well as bedding. I had to make my bed as sheets were not on the bed. The dining hall is huge with two stations for participants to go thru the buffet line. The food was delicious, lukewarm at times. I was served 3 meals with refreshments breaks with homemade scones, cookies, popcorn, apple turnovers and so much more. The theme was community and the sessions and worship were inspiring and encouraging. Mount Hermon provides fall and spring women's retreats, family camps, men's retreat, marriage retreat, and All-Comers (A special weekend conference designed for 45+ year olds.) They offer camperships for individuals and families. Andrew and Mitchel the tour guides for the sequoia aerial tour were kind and patient with me as I navigated the ropes course. Shelby Rodeman the family ministries coordinator was fabulous and so kind, as well as the staff and speakers. An enjoyable weekend, I will be back.
