First of all, I have to say that I am going to be a walking billboard for this venue. My husband and I were married here on November 19th, 2016. Cave Creek Chapel is incredible, and if you are looking for an intimate wedding experience (80 guests or below) this chapel is the place you need to be. Our guests were floored by how gorgeous the chapel was- many of them have lived in Cave Creek for years and had never seen it before; people were buzzing about what a "hidden gem" it was. This sweet chapel needs more community recognition! THE CHAPEL ITSELF: I stumbled across this chapel by chance, and I am so thankful that I did! My mom and I happened to drive by one morning after picking up coffee from Cave Creek Coffee Company and were struck by the charming exterior of the building. We hopped out of the car and started poking around the chapel grounds. By some happy chance, we ran into Maggie (the incredible chapel owner) who gave us a tour on the spot. The Cave Creek Chapel is beautiful, simple, and comfortable and after seeing it, I knew that I wanted to get married there! I brought my husband back to visit CCC the following week, and he too fell in love with it. To make things even more magical, we discovered that my husband's grandparents were married in the chapel back when it was a Baptist church many years ago. For those of you who have not seen the Cave Creek Chapel in person, I encourage you to visit as soon as possible - you will be floored by how beautiful it is; The detailing on the late 1800's pews (that Maggie rescued from a church about to undergo demolition back east), simple stained-glass, and the drop-dead gorgeous view out of the cross window make the chapel stunning. CUSTOMER SERVICE: What really makes Cave Creek Chapel sparkle? The girls who run it! Maggie and Tatum are incredible, and work hard to make sure that your wedding dreams will come true; they are truly passionate about what they do, and that passion shines through in their work. My husband and I are avid hikers and lovers of the outdoors and wanted our wedding ceremony to reflect that, but it was very important to us that we were married in a church...so we brought nature inside! Maggie and Tatum gave us free reign to decorate in the chapel and lent us a hand as we created our woodland wonderland; We brought in Norfolk Pines, flanked the cross window with 1902 Hungarian doors, lined the isle with Persian rugs and Thomas Moran prints, and laid juniper sprigs, vintage insulators, and pinecones at the base of the pews. (NOTE: In order to accomplish our decorating, we chose to tack on three additional hours to our wedding package. I highly recommend reserving additional time if you are going to decorate more extravagantly. If you aren't one for decorating, Maggie and Tatum offer some beautiful and romantic options for decor that you can view on your chapel visit and on their website's gallery). IT'S THE LITTLE THINGS: 1. Something that really stood out to me was Maggie and Tatum's willingness to be flexible. I happened to mess up on the time I had reserved for my rehearsal and texted Tatum in a panic a couple of days before my rehearsal date. Maggie and Tatum were extremely accommodating and simply moved my time block free of charge! 2. Maggie and Tatum are very responsive, and typically answered any questions that I had within a couple of hours. 3. Maggie and Tatum are calm and collected, and always do their job with a smile! My husband and I were married at the chapel in July of 2016. We couldn't have been happier with our experience there. We were planning on having a very small wedding (around 30 guests) and were having a terrible time finding a venue that suited our needs. By chance, I came across this little place in Cave Creek, and I immediately loved it. The pictures on the website didn't do it justice. Maggie has done a wonderful job of renovating this chapel to make it feel inviting and look lovely. We particularly loved the window that overlooks the city and the mountains. It was perfect. Additionally, a room for the groom and a suite for the bride were on-site and very well appointed. Maggie was very helpful, explaining everything involved in using the venue. She quickly responded to any questions we had. Plus, she acted as a coordinator and had everything very well organized for the rehearsal and finally the wedding. She was everywhere the day-of, making sure the ceremony was staying on track. The fees were reasonable and definitely worth it. Everything from the view to the candles to the sound-system were just right. Our guests loved it, and several even told us it was the most beautiful wedding they'd ever attended! On September 17, 2016 I married the love of my life. We knew that we wanted an intimate wedding which required a venue that lent itself to that desire. Well, when we found the Cave Creek Chapel we fell in love immediately with it. The chapel itself is elegant and historic that has the added bonus of a beautiful view. We honestly expected the cost to match its incredible beauty. Luckily, it was a lot less than we expected and extremely reasonable. Then there is the added bonus of Maggie the owner. I would love to use words like amazing, fabulous, and awesome to describe her but they would not do her justice. She was such an integral part of our wedding that we took pictures with her. All of our guests were amazed at the beauty of our wedding and how smooth everything went with so many of them commenting on the chapel being such a hidden gem. We just got married on December 9, 2016 at the Cave Creek Chapel and it was perfect! We are from Michigan and had a small ceremony (25 family and friends from Michigan) at the chapel. Maggie was amazing to work with and very responsive via email (which was especially necessary planning a destination wedding). In addition, when we got to AZ the week of the wedding she was so flexible in meeting with us and was such a friendly face on the walk-through and the day of. She definitely knows what she is doing and everything went so smoothly! The chapel itself is a dream. Driving to the chapel is a bit underwhelming as the location is not as "rustic" as the interior, but none of that matters once you step inside. It is BEATIFUL and the perfect location for a small ceremony. The bride and groom rooms are also a very nice touch for a small chapel! I would recommend Maggie and the chapel over and over again. read more

My husband and I were married there a few weeks ago, and we couldn't be more pleased with the exceptional service we received or the way our ceremony turned out. The venue space provides an intimate, romantic, and elegant setting with beautiful views of the Continental Mountains. Like the rating says...Cave Creek Chapel is as good as it gets! Thank you Maggie! We wanted a simple wedding ceremony prior to our planned ceremony and reception back home in August and Cave Creek Chapel delivered. The location, view and hospitality exceeded our expectations. We were especially grateful for the small things. We received prompt responses to our emails, flexibility for the tour and scheduling. We toured the chapel on Sunday and got married on Friday. Although it was just my wife and sister and brother in-law it was a very special day. Maggie even took pictures of the ceremony and sent them to us! Maggie was fantastic and super great to work with. This little chapel is a gem that everyone should know about. It's perfect for an intimate wedding with a blend of traditional and nontraditional. I love the fact I didn't have to decorate the chapel because the decor is perfect with the candles and pedals. The individual dressing rooms are comfortable and met the needs of all the wedding party. It made for excellent pre-wedding photos. Maggie was easy to get a hold of and always responded quickly. We are SO happy we chose Cave Creek Chapel for our ceremony! Maggie is an absolute gem, and will go above and beyond to make your day exactly how you've dreamt it to be! The chapel is absolutely stunning, and every single one of our guests was commenting on how beautiful the chapel was and how lovely the ceremony was! My husband and I just got married here on June 6th and it was the most perfect wedding I could have ever dreamed of. I've always appreciated the vintage style and when searching for a church, this place had it all. From old pews to stain glass windows, etc. And the large window over looking the mountains just topped it of. Maggie was absolutely wonderful and made our day so special and stress free. Wow! The chapel was absolutely stunning. The sunset coming through the stained glass windows on the wood floors and 150+ year old pews made for a fairytale setting. Surrounded by mountains it made for the perfect backdrop for our pictures. My husband and I are so grateful for Maggie, she made sure everything ran smoothly on our special day.
