My Fiancee and I were looking for our first pair of boots here in Texas, and for our upcoming wedding. I heard great things about this place, and I found a pair I liked online. When we arrived on a Saturday, it was already bustling everywhere. We found out the women's boots were just to the right as soon as you walked in. I showed the salesman (did not catch his name, black cowboy hat) what I saw online, and he took me directly to it. I asked for "wide width". He said he did not offer that in the store. My usual size did not work. He was not much help. My Fiancee helped take off and put on boots. Tried a couple more, now one size up. Fit better, but still a little tight around the mid foot. But, found a pair that would go with my dress. The salesman just kind of stood in background. But, when we got the men's department, we had GREAT help from Chris! My Fiancee did not want square or pointed toe, was looking for rounded toe. He directed him to the JRC boots. He too had to go up a size to fit. But, Chris was very helpful in getting out several different styles for him. We asked for protection for the boots, and he said that was sold up front. There was a long line to check out. But, the two ladies checking us out were super friendly and nice. I asked for the protection for the boots, and she came around and showed me where it was, as only had a couple left. What a great first experience! Will be back for other things!

This is the second Cavender's I have been to and I certainly think there is a much greater selection here than at the one in Austin near the Domain. I was actually recommended to come to this one in Round Rock since it has a greater selection of hats, boots, etc by the gentleman working at the hat section in the one in Austin. I wear about at 7 3/8 size hat and sometimes it is hard to find it in stock. It was no problem here at the Cavender's in Round Rock, and there were plenty of straw and felt hats to choose from in various colors. It took me forever to decide on a hat but I finally chose a felt one since I really liked the brown color of the hat and the way it fit on my head. I asked a couple questions to the staff working in the hat section and they were helpful. I then went and checked out at the main area afterwards. I noticed there was a small spot on my hat on the inside of the brim before I walked out of the store and I asked the gentleman working the hat section if he could take care of it. He did more than enough to try every trick he knew to try and remove the spot including scrubbing it with a few different tools and putting some powder on it that I did not even know about. Safe to say he was able to get the spot out and I am proud to be wearing my hat these days. I will definitely be back for any of my Western outfit needs.

I'm looking for a new hat.. I'm going with the purple!

I truly love most of the boots and hats that Cavander's has. I have for years. However, I feel that this location in particular has subpar customer service. While there are many cashiers/custom service representatives walking around at this location, it seems they all ignore the customers even when they are flagged down. For as much money as I spend here as well as all consumers who shop here, this is the one aspect that will cause us to move our dollars elsewhere. Please do better.

4 stars because while the selection was good? The kids working here needed some prompting to help us find stiff.

Very hard to find anyone to help you. Asked an associate about kids sizes to get a measurement and she replied it wasn't her department.

It's located on the northbound side of the I-35 feeder at exit 254. There's plenty of parking and it sits right next to Amy's ice cream. The interior reminded me of those souvenir shops you'd find down by the coast where music is playing overhead and you're surrounded by bright colorful clothing from the floor to the ceiling. There's lots of men's, women's and children's activewear along with numerous accessories. You can also find some Austin souvenirs and T-shirts here as well. There's also a very large shoe selection to be found here. The photos included may inspire you to check this place out, but don't expect bargain prices.

For those not familiar with this lifestyle brand, Tyler's is an athletic and lifestyle apparel retailer that also features brands like FreePeople, Roxy, Rip Curl, Nike, Howler Brothers, etc. This store is also known for its classic signature Tyler tee-shirts and their ATX tee-shirts. For those of y'all not 'from round these parts', Tyler's is like a PacSun meets J.C. Penny store (at least to me it is anyway). I generally shop for items for Thing Two at Tyler's as most of the apparel skews toward a specific age demographic which yah gurl aint in. However, it should be noted that this retailer originated in 1978 in Tyler, Texas, as a single store specializing in tennis and running gear. Since then, Tyler's has grown to eight physical locations, including in Austin, Dallas, Fort Worth, Southlake and The Woodlands. Tyler's welcome to 'The Rock'! #supportlocal #texasoriginal

I recently decided to completely rebuild my wardrobe after losing 45 lbs and wanted to invest in timeless, well-fitting clothing rather than simply buying whatever happened to be on sale. Dennis has been absolutely instrumental in that journey. What impressed me most wasn't that he was trying to make a sale--it was that he genuinely wanted to educate me. He took the time to explain the differences between the various Brooks Brothers shirt collections, the different fits, fabrics, sizing systems, and how each style complements different body types. He patiently helped me understand how the Brooks Brothers sizing system works and why finding the correct fit makes such a tremendous difference. When it came time to purchase, Dennis also educated me on how to buy with the current sale that was going on. My few experiences with Dennis could not have gone any better. They have been perfect. For the first time, I feel like I understand how to build a wardrobe that is tailored to my body instead of trying to make my body fit the clothing. Dennis never rushed me, answered every question with professionalism and enthusiasm, and made the entire experience enjoyable. Because of his knowledge and customer service, I'm now in the process of transitioning my entire wardrobe to Brooks Brothers. Honestly, I don't believe I would have made that decision without his guidance. Brooks Brothers has built an outstanding system of fits, measurements, and classic style. When someone like Dennis takes the time to explain it, everything begins to make sense, and the results speak for themselves. Thank you, Brooks Brothers, for creating such an exceptional brand, and thank you, Dennis Chia, for making a new customer feel welcomed, educated, and genuinely excited about building a wardrobe that will last for years. I look forward to all of my future visits at MY local Brooks Brothers Store.

He hates pleated pants and we just were hoping they had some nice things in stock. We walked in and were greeted, anything you are looking for, well not really, just wanted to browse what they had overall. It was my husband, myself, and 1 and 2 year old. Thankfully we had them in our double stroller - the Nuna Demi grow that seats both of them comfortably so that we can shop without worrying about them running around or grabbing things off shelves, etc. She asked me about 30 seconds later once we made it to the other side of the store (by the columbia side of windows) . No thank you. browsed their sock selection, which was slim pickings. and we decided maybe they had some on the opposite side of the racks we passed on our one lap in. again, the thick accented, glasses wearing young lady asked again, Is there anything you are looking for ? That was it, in 1.5 minute-2 minutes time she followed me around the store asking if we needed help looking for something. I said, you know that's it, I'm done. Even if I wanted to purchase something in this store I wouldn't specifically because of you. I'll be spending at the stores down the hall. And that's exactly what we did. Never. again. ever. I couldnt figure out why we were treated this way? Was it my $500 purse? was it my $1400 stroller? Was it my well-dressed family? was it because I had kids with me? I'll never know. But I do know I will never shop there again.

The store breaks that mold. I was able to call this store and immediately ascertain if they had suitable product in my size for an event. Not only did they have the product they offered to reserve it until end of day when I could return to the area. Upon my visit, the manager, Firouze, immediately went to the task of helping me select sizes and product. She was patient as I tried adjacent sizes on multiple times to be sure the fit was perfect. She managed to keep focus on me while serving other customers that came and went. While it took me well over 30 minutes, I was able to leave knowing what I had was the right thing for me and wouldn't need any alterations. That's a big bonus at this store. They have prehemmed pants in common lengths. As a bonus there was a hero's discount that I qualified for which gave me 15% off the total purchase. Anything helps at this time of year and that was a great way to stretch the budget. I also needed a pair of dress shoes and they happen to have the perfect ones on display in my size. I was able to use a coupon I had just received with my suit purchase to effectively take 2/3 off the price of that purchase. All in all I couldn't have been more pleased with the experience I received here. I was actually dreading the thought of having to go to Men's Wearhouse and get taken for a ride on mismatching coordinates as has happened once before in an emergency purchase. Everything matched and was of good quality without taking me to the cleaners. Five stars.
