I was invited to a Western Party and already had boots and a hat . I hadn't worn the hat in over 9 years and it was a dusty, moldy mess. I really was embarrassed that I had taken such poor care of a hat, that was a very expensive purcahse for me at the time the hat was bought. There are two other Horestown locations in "Atlanta" and some how I chose this, the furthest away location to bring the hat for cleaning and boy am I glad I did. One of the cashiers directed me to the Hat Room to speak with someone about cleaning and shaping the hat, and while I knew the hat was in horrible shape, she never blinked an eye. I walked around and was shocked. This is by far the largest of the 3 locations, they had boots in every shape, style and color. I went in to get the hat cleaned and shaped, which is a free service and almost spent $300 on a pair rust/brown/floral cowboy boots. I hurried up and handed those boots back over and made my way over to where the horse feed and saddles, and accessories were. This felt safer, since I don't own an horse and won't be caught up in the impulse spending of this place. By the time I strolled back over to the hat room, the hat had been cleaned, shaped and adorned with a peacock feather. The hat lady offered me a selection of other feathers and I chose a different one that I knew would match perfectly with the outfit I was wearing to the Western Party. and I purchased a hat band for Antone time, cause I promise to take much better care of that hat for the next 8 years, so I also bought a waterproof, dust proof, mold proof hat storage case. Excellent Service, attentive staff, large selections of hats, boots, belts and dang near everything else. No refunds, store credits only within 30 days.

There's just something about English riding boots! (¬‿¬)

Horsetown is the best country western store south of Atlanta hands down. They always have the best prices on popular clothing, boots, belts, and everything else country you can think of. Their English Riding section is very impressive, not to mention their huge selection on every type boots that you can image. Today I saw something for the first time... a travel boot bag go figure!

Great deals to be had during the yearly "Stampede" sale.

Large selection of boots and price range. We found the perfect pair with a friendly consultant for my son's birthday.

THIS REVIEW IS SOLELY PERTAINING TO BOSTONIAN CLARK STORE…read more When I entered the store, I was greeted by the associate at the checkout desk and began looking for the item I came for. I found the last pair of boots in this size i was looking for but they were in terrible condition--scuffed and beat up to the point that they looked like a return. I asked if there were any others in the back. The associate checked and confirmed this was the only pair. She kindly offered to use a product to clean one boot, which improved its appearance. I thanked her and asked if she could do the same for the other boot. At that point, what I assume was the store manager turned around and said, "Ma'am, it's just a demonstration. We sell the product, and we're only supposed to do one boot." I explained that I wasn't asking for a discount or a freebie--I simply wanted to purchase boots that looked new. Her response? "We sell the product, and we're only supposed to do one shoe." I was stunned. I told her she was missing the point: the boots looked worn, and I was asking for a quick cleanup so they looked like a new item. She refused. I walked out, deciding not to spend my money with people who clearly didn't want the sale. Later, because my brother really wanted those boots and time was short, I went back to buy them. Ironically, when I returned, the boots had been cleaned up and looked much better both pairs --exactly what I had asked for earlier. So, the store lost the sale initially because the manager refused to provide basic customer service. I cannot understand why it was such a big deal to clean both boots for a paying customer. I wasn't asking for a discount or special treatment--just a product that looked new. Instead, I was met with attitude and inflexibility. This experience was disrespectful and showed a complete disregard for customer satisfaction. The only reason I completed the purchase was because it was the only store with that size and style, and my brother insisted. Otherwise, I would have gladly driven an hour to another location or ordered online. Moving forward, I will never shop at that store again. This store needs serious training--especially the manager--to understand that the goal is to maximize sales and treat customers with respect, not to flex authority at the expense of service.
