The owner and her brother John, of the Oneida Nation, are a joy to talk to about everything..... and the power of art in the native history and current life. The ole Trading Post is my first stop each summer in Egg Harbour as I know I will be meeting up with ole' friends once again. I just got off the phone today as to inquire of some more CD's/DVD's of native american traditional music set to modern electric guitar and contemporary vocals that I purchased recently from the Shop. I wanted more CD's :) !!! My recommendation to all is to stop by to learn Native life and beautiful jewelry and art..... and to just chat for awhile. I would have never be exposed to the Menominee/Oneida Nation Pow-Wows, area Native Art exhibits, and even some great lakes to just do some lazy day fishing on in my retirement. Peace.

It makes the art pop that much more. Edgewood has artwork from more than 100 artists in a wide range of media: paintings, sculpture, glass, clay, wood, jewelry. I left with a coaster for my father that had a dragonfly on it (a special symbol to our family). There is artwork in every price range here, so you can leave with a little bit of Door County artwork no matter your budget.
