I called several companies looking for someone to install a Tesla charger at my new older home in Tucson. This was complicated by a 1966 power box with a low voltage. So we needed to upgrade service. We contacted several companies and got a couple of bids. Lytle Electric got with me quickly and came in with a better bid. The upgrade requires cooperation with TEP to approve and then coordination to schedule a power shutoff while the work is done. We also had to shutoff the townhouse neighbors' power. Tucson has had such a lot of rain this summer and TEP was really busy. We started the process In late July, we think and finally got approval for the work to be done on Sept 1. Justin kept in communication with me and answered all my questions. He gave me info. to tell the neighbors too. Coming up on the scheduled work We asked that they do several electric projects on that day: a light above the tub didn't work, we wanted outside lights repairs and some sconces mounted and a pendant hung over the dining. Crossing our fingers we could get all this! Justin was great and said, yes, he'd get as much done that day as he could. Leading up to the work we got several text reminders and I texted with another question. We asked the approximate time window for the the shutoff. This was important to the neighbors who worried about lots of shrimp in their freezer. This was all dependent on TEP but Justin gave us a good guess. Justin arrived 15 min before the 7:00am appointment and got to work. He kept in coordination with TEP. He and his helper, Albert, were mindful of keeping my house clean and cleaned up after the job. We had a glitch with neighbors as TEP trimmed (whacked) one of their trees and they were upset. Justin acted responsible and helped the neighbor by explaining what and why TEP could do that. He then removed the branches that TEP left and tied up a lower branch to even the tree. His attention really helped smooth our problem. So, his work was great, he communicated with us, he went above and beyond (did our extra chores and helped the neighbor), was on time and gave us a good bid. 5 stars.
