I found that you get what you pay for with C&C. The prices are inexpensive, but the service and product that comes with that match the price. There were some delays and mistakes in my order confirmation that I had to follow up on, but the items that showed up on the day of were correct. Unfortunately, there were some dark marks on one of the tables that were very visible under the white tablecloth, and the chairs looked pretty beat up and dirty. Again, for the inexpensive price, I guess you get what you pay for, but I will bump up to a higher price point for nicer items for my next event. read more

Chinye of C&C Party Rentals is NOT A PROFESSIONAL. I hired her the day before my baby shower with the hopes she could add a level of expertise to my already designed dessert table. I texted her a picture of my mock up dessert table with the hopes she could take it to the next level. I only needed her for decorating because I had already purchased everything I needed from desserts to glassware to linen. The agreed upon price was $175, pricey, but I thought it would be worth it. Chinye arrived and basically took over 20 minutes adjusting the overlay table cloth on my dessert table and then she realized she didn't bring any safety pins with her to maintain the gathering of linen for the look. That was unsettling, considering she is suppose to be a pro. Luckily, I always carry safety pins in my handbag. Okay, so I was a little bothered by that, but let it go. The last straw was when I was placing gum balls in one of my huge glass jars and a baseball sized piece of glass broke off and she responded, "Oh, I was going to warn you about doing that." Really?! What am I paying you for, Chinye? As a novice, I relied on you to guide me. She didn't even have tape to temporarily repair the glass for my event. Again, I saved the day and brought clear packing tape from home to the venue just in case. I told Chinye it was not working out and she made a lame excuse she didn't want to interfere with me taking over. She worked for 30 minutes and had the audacity to ask for $50! Crook! STAY AWAY FROM THIS SHAMEFUL SO-CALLED DECORATOR. Save your hard earned cash and create your own table! Terrible customer service ‼‼ I happened to book a baby shower with them but unfortunately some pregnancies don't go as planned and I feel like as women that should be understood and there should be more consideration. I booked for the date June 1st but since I received unexpected new that I would be having my baby much sooner I asked if we could rescheduled for May 18th, she said it was fine but a couple days later she said she had a conflict on the date and asked if we can do Memorial Day weekend, which wasn't gonna work because not only could I be having my baby any day, but the 18th was the only other day the venue I had was available. So since I already had too much going on and didn't wanna stress myself out even more I asked to cancel, so she stated that the deposit was non-refundable which I wasnt aware of, but there was an agreement sent that I never saw before I sent my deposit. A deposit should have never been accepted without me signing the agreement for 1 and 2 snot once did she bring up that there was an agreement form or anything while dates, or invoices were being discussed. I also sent more than what the deposit required, she stated that it can be used as store credit, but future events, post baby shower or anything was that last thing I was worried about due to the situation I was in. But since she was so pressed about not sending anything back an understanding agreement could've been made, she said she refunded an amount of it back and just stop communicating, I've called and sent messages no response. Due to Covid I couldn't celebrate my birthday the way I wanted so I thought to have lunch on the beach with some family and friends.. I contacted Chinye and she informed me this was definitely something we could do.. I told her the colors and this is the final look.. I had to change the colors a week before the party and that was no problem !! She changed it and made it happen.. I had told her before the party she would be assisting with my wedding February 2022 and I still feel the same.. She texted me early she would be a little late.. It ended up being an hour but it was ok because she timed everything great and was still able to setup before my guest came so I couldn't be upset things happen !! I waited 3 days and never received an invoice. I called again and they finally sent me one. They promised to deliver the items I rented Friday evening, and no one showed up or contacted me. I once again had to call to only find out they changed the delivery date to Saturday at 8am without contacting me. Saturday at 8am no one showed up, and once again I had to call them to find out my items weren't coming until 9am, 9am arrives still no delivery. I call multiple times and my calls are now being ignored by owner. Chairs and tables get delivered at 10am with no apology or a refund for them being unprofessional and late. read more

This review is based on rental for my wedding on Saturday 12/10/16. I was dealing directly with Chinye. She was great from the very beginning. I had numerous concerns because my now husband, myself and our families decided that we should get married before the end of the year which left us exactly one month from the date he proposed to the date we got married. Chinye did an amazing job answering all my emails and calls. I had questions and concerns about the chairs, heaters, tables, etc. she went above and beyond to reassure me. I rented a total of 125 white resin chairs and my concerns was that it would be dirty or broken like I've seen before with other rental companies. Chinye sent me pictures of sample chairs and tables. Everything was great leading up to the actual date of the wedding and I even referred the company to one of my friends that is planning a wedding for summer 2017. However, with all good things there was also disappointment...and that happened the day of the wedding. I'm assuming that my order was too large (125 white resin chairs, 10 rectangular tables, 10 round tables, two patio heating lamps, children table and chairs, and table cloths) so it came in two shipments by two different companies. I'm assuming they contracted out. The agreed upon delivery time was anytime before 1:30pm as my event was to start at 5. The first load of items came in and that was great. The second load however did not arrive until 4:30...30mins before my wedding was to start and my guest were arriving and my family and friends had to rush to set everything up. I was frantic leading up to the delivery and called/texted/emailed the company and got delayed responses. According to Chinye the delivery truck stated they would be there in 10mins but that was untrue, it took about an hour (4:30pm). The tablecloths that arrived were the ones you can buy at downtown for like $6 (I bought some for my wedding for $6) but was charged $8 to rent and they came in a plastic bag folded. I would expect that the tablecloths was to be nicely delivered without creases if I'm renting them for more than I can buy them in downtown for. I didn't have time to steam them so I had to use creased tablecloths. The company left the two patio heaters but did not set them up or turn them on. My family and guest had to figure out how to connect them and turn it on which was a fiasco to do when you're trying to enjoy dinner and all the wedding good stuff. Overall we probably only used less than half of each of the tanks of propane because we could not get it to work correctly. My friends asked me if I would consider renting from this company again and I said yes I would. For any bride that would be a horrible thing to go through the day of the wedding but I feel that this company is still getting their feet wet in the business and is learning as they go. The chairs that was delivered were all new and clean. I knew planning a wedding that not everything will go the way you want it and you'll have to go with the flow with some things. I would use this company again because Chinye did a great job reassuring me and working with me. I do believe they have to fix some things which is their delivery method and such but that's something that can be easily fixed with team work and better communication. I'm hoping that this company prospers and I have good faith that they will work to fix the logistics of the delivery process to cause less stress on the individuals renting. read more
