Our wedding coordinator recommended Provenance Rentals to us when we were searching for wedding vendors. From the moment we chatted on the phone, Anna felt like an old friend! We rented candlesticks, a card box and a sattee for our wedding day. Anna invited me to come see her inventory in person. Our sattee of choice was being reupholstered, but she sent me updates throughout the entire process so I could see it transforming! One of the worse customer service experiences I've ever had. After eyeing a chair I wanted to rent for about 3 months I went online last night to fill out their submission form. It asked many questions that would allow them to understand the event & needs (baby shower event in 3 weeks) and we'd rent for 1 day. Left my phone number and event details. The quote of the rental was online so I knew it was in budget. I get an email from Anna 9am this morning explaining information I already was aware of and asking me if I want a quote. At 11am I emailed her back saying I know the quote and wanted to secure sale. She emails me back at noon saying they already rented the chair for that date (this morning after our correspondence & since they hadn't heard back from me they went forward to renting to someone else. Why didn't anyone call as the submission form asked for my contact? Why weren't directions and all information sent in the first email correspondence? Not only was she slow at securing the sale but had the audacity to rent to someone else when their inquiry was clearly after mine. I could have referred this business to my people who continuously do events in the industry. It's unfortunate how careless employees can be. I would be surprised if Anna owns this business as what was done here was clearly bad business. read more
