Also, since I had used them before I figured I would give them my business first. I was quoted $150 for 2 tables and 12 chairs and when I questioned if he was giving me the right quote, he said "prices went up". Yeah, no shit right. Pretty sure everyone has figured that one. I reached out to about 5 other places and got quoted what I had ball parked the price between $40-60. Of course, not including delivery fee. But my brother didn't care since he is more than capable of picking up such small order that easily fits in his car. But even with delivery fee I was thinking $80-100. We had used Chucky's Party Rentals for my daughter first and second birthday. They were great and reasonable pricing. So, as expected we wanted to use them for our son's birthday in April and had booked them for their services early in February. I made my deposit and contacted them as our event date came near. However, as it neared my son's birthday party, they were no longer keeping in contact with me and I feared that my son's birthday was going to be ruined. I made the last minute decision the day before my son's birthday to reach out to as many rental service THE DAY BEFORE our event celebration. Thank goodness many responded quickly and we were able to find tables and chairs to be delivered the day before our event from another rental service. I'm still in shock that I haven't received a response and I don't really want to bother about my deposit to be returned. I requested 150 dark wooden chairs with ivory padding and when they arrived they were not the chairs I asked for. I had sent him a picture of exactly what chairs I needed and he confirmed he had them. His crew let me know they do not have those chairs at all. I also asked for pink naked draping and pictures of the different shades of pink draping they had to choose from and he never sent them. They did a lousy job on the draping and most were ripped and dirty. He asked if his crew can set up the day prior instead of the morning of my event and I made the accommodations but I asked him if his crew would be able to go the next day early morning to set up a tarp, if needed, because of the weather and he confirmed.
