Stopped in Whole Foods today to grab a cake for a birthday and couldn't have been more disappointed…read morewith the service. The cake I grabbed had the barcode on the side so I couldn't tip it to scan it, and there are two employees having a conversation about Covid and after finally noticing me, trying to figure out how to scan it, the guy walks up and doesn't say a word and just scans it, and then walks away. The customer service at the store today was extremely disappointing. Especially when it's compared to Trader Joe's. I stopped by Trader Joe's just before this and every single employee I encountered at the store was friendly and greeted me. I also watched as another person who is handing out samples at Trader Joe's, drop everything to help an elderly lady find something on the other side of the store. Take note Whole Foods.
