In fact, they are often cheaper than Robert's, as it seems like they are just pricing for tourists looking to stock their vacation rentals. They have a good selection of vegan items, even locally-made cheeses and meats, in addition to the commercial brands. And if you hit it at the right time, there's locally-made vegan baked goods, too. They have a modest wine and beer selection but still convenient if you need it. I think the neighborhood should support the Food Co-op. I have never had an interaction or experience in any Smoothie King or any business establishment that I was subjected to in the Smoothie King on Terry Parkway. I told her she seemed a bit rude almost as a temperature check and to clear the air. While she said she was not being rude, I told her I understand that it was not your intention was not the impact I received, and I was done but she continued on and on, which led to a lot of back and forth. She was sure to tell me she was the manager and literally continued to badgered to me about the situation like I was an employee at Smoothie King or that all that she said was right and truthful, even while other customers entered. I was trying to buy more but I ended up asking for a refund for 4 smoothies. She told me because my order was on the app she could not provide me with anything tangible that showed me my order would be refunded. I asked her to write on paper something that I could take with me and she told me I was being complicated as if I should trust her word after such an experience. She refused to give her name just incase the refund did not happen and I needed to contact them about it. She added how she was giving the other customers a discount for witnessing everything because that's how she treats customers. Absolutely horrible managing skills. I could write a lot more about this interaction, and while I never leave reviews, it was very important to share my experience.
