Always appealing from the road, today I browsed around a little. Their plants looked good, despite the summer heat. I selected a nice hanging plant for the front porch and soon I was on my way. The items to select from are unique and generally of high-quality. The store is clean and there is plenty of parking. One star removed for their obnoxious request for my phone number in order to be able to return something or God's knows what for. I fought this intrusion on my privacy years ago when they started doing this, now I surrender and give the number but I sure do hate it! Also, their stupid slip of paper for a discount is a waste of their time and mine as there are too many restrictions to save the sliver of paper. Come back several weeks later, make sure the item isn't on sale already, blah, blah, blah - I used to bother to save these coupons but now I just toss them aside. The prices are high and these 2 things really bother me but the location and selection are very nice.

We love Bon Bon Bon and they have a small stall here! One of my favorite discoveries though was The Workplace Program - selling cards made by people with disabilities - they were so unique and awesome! I ended up buying one for my brother's birthday and it was the same price you'd see at Hallmark for a nice card. Overall, the space was clean and easy to navigate - only took us about 45 minutes to browse through all the vendors. Definitely check out if you're in the area and want to support local!

I only stopped by after seeing a sign for a farmer's market on Saturday morning while I was at Bommarito Bakery. This is a cute neighborhood garden nursery. You will find garden supplies inside and a nice selection of plants outside. It is worth the stop if you are in St. Clair Shores, especially on the weekend when there is the small "farmer's market" with very fresh-looking fruits and vegetables.
