I have known Dr LeVeque for over 15 years. I was a veterinary technician working at the clinic that Dr LeVeque first started working at after graduating from Vet School. I watched her grow and perfect her veterinary medicine skills. I saw her dedication as she spent hour upon hour, week upon week, year upon year studying holistic medicine on her own time as this is not part of traditional vet school "training". I often left the clinic after our day was "done", saying bye to Dr LeVeque as she was just sitting down at her desk to review her patient charts and do research, look into options and call clients to check in on her patients. She was and still is the veterinarian who treats my personal fur babies. I have worked with well over 20 veterinarians over the course of my 20+ year veterinary career (I am now a stay at home mom). I have NEVER met a more caring or dedicated veterinarian than Dr LeVeque. Her skills and expertise match her caring and dedication. I am so proud of Dr LeVeque for opening her clinic and following what she truly believes in. The support staff she has are truly amazing people. I have known Beth almost equally as long as Dr LeVeque. The accusations that Jason K made about Beth are impossible for me to believe. I met her as a client, we became friends, and I had the pleasure of working with her at Natural Healing Pet Care for a short time before I made the choice to stay at home with my daughter. She also is an amazing person with a heart of gold, under no circumstances should a "human being" talk about another person in the way he spoke about her. It is simply inexcusable. Hands down, Natural Healing Pet Care is a wonderful place with a great group of people, and a wealth of skill and knowledge. They will not only be your pet's vet, but will also be your friend.... everyone pet is treated as if they are their own. I began taking my dogs (two elderly cocker spaniels at that time) to Dr. Nicole LeVeque when she was in Livonia, MI. Her knowledge and kind-heartedness for both the owner and the dogs are indescribable. About five years ago my young labradoodle was having a severe allergic reaction to heartworm medication. Dr. LeVeque returned my phone call immediately despite the fact that she was on vacation in Vermont. My dog was admitted to the Emergency Animal Hospital for a few days. After her release, she was still a very sick dog. I took her to see Dr. LeVeque and she began treating her with chiropractic, acupuncture and Chinese herbs. I owe this dog's life to her. As a result of this allergic reaction, my dog has a compromised immune system, digestive issues and bronchitic asthma. Dr. LeVeque has returned this dog back to good health. She has keen awareness and sensitivity to the animal's needs. Dr. LeVeque has also successfully treated my young Bearded Collie for incontinence with acupuncture, chiropractic and Chinese herbs. I recently had an opportunity to meet Dr. Eva Groesbeck. She treated my dog with acupuncture. Dr. LeVeque has carefully staffed her office with another outstanding vet along with techs and an office manager who are professional, courteous and attentive to the clients and their needs. Her new office is awesome; the environment and atmosphere are stress-free and very peaceful to both the owner and the animals. Dr. LeVeque always gets down on the floor to lovingly greet my dogs. I am a veterinarian who has referred at least half a dozen patients to Dr. Eva Groesbeck and have seen excellent results in ALL patients. Two of the more challenging patients were "disc dogs," that is, patients who had protruding and/or ruptured intervertebral discs. Both patients were independently presented to me totally paralyzed in the rear quarters. In both cases, the standard of care was advised which was a referral to a neurologist accompanied with advanced diagnostics, such as an MRI, and then corrective surgery. Both clients declined for various reasons. I then suggested a consultation with Dr. Groesbeck as a trained and certified IVAS acupuncturist. Today both dogs are totally ambulatory and pain free with normal bowel and bladder habits. I had one client hug me and profusely thank me for the referral and tried to credit me with saving her dog from the possibility of euthanasia. I reminded her, it was Dr. Groesbeck, not me who successfully treated her dog. What I initially failed to recognize is she was grateful that I had given her several options regarding the care and treatment of her beloved dog. Dr. Groesbeck's skill is what saved this patient's life. My thinking has changed. I have come to realize that there is no one form of medicine that will cure all diseases in all patients all the time. Very sorry that Jason's cat is ill. However, if he was so concerned about his cats well being, he would not have been so hostile and selfish about "his time" and more concerned about his cat getting to see Dr Nicole. Dr Nicole does not run a vet HMO. She takes the necessary time for each animal to properly care for them. We left our"HMO" vet after being with them for 25 years to be with Dr Nicole and I regret that we didn't find her sooner. After many appointments with our old vet that "ran on time" our bullmastiff was never diagnosed with the real problem. After one thorough appointment with dr Nicole it was discovered she had a brain tumor. Sorry but that appointment was worth the wait and I'm sorry if that appointment took ten minutes longer than expected. You will not find a better vet than Dr Nicole. PS we are still waiting for our HMO vet to return our last phone call. It's been 11 months. Don't you think the "on time" vet would wonder why a client of 25 years. Suddenly disappeared and wonder what ever happened to their sick dog?? Hmmm Jason go ahead and stick with the HMO vet. More appointment time for the rest of us . And the HMO vet still sends us reminders about heart worm for the dog that is no longer with us. The HMO "on time" vet doesn't even realize that she has died. read more

I'd give 10 stars if I could. The service is personal, and they care about your pets like they would their own. Dr. Nicole was my cat's doctor due to arthritis. When my cat got diagnosed with cancer, she took charge of her care, taking the initiative to supplement the oncologist's care, have regular calls with the oncologist, and listen to and respond to my concerns. The day my cat died, her support was immeasurable. Dr. Nicole was not even working. She took my calls all day, did a conference call with me and the oncologist, and dropped everything to come do an in-home euthanization. Please understand, this woman owns a business and is a busy mom. She knew that she was needed unexpectedly and clearly rearranged her schedule to be there for my cat on the last day of her life. My cat passed on her own right before Dr. Nicole arrived. She pet her sweetly, gave her a kiss, and cried along with me. If you want passionate and personal service, this is the place to go. Yes, that means waiting at times, because someone who cares so deeply is in demand, but I'd rather know that each patient was special and wait for that than to be shuttled around with impersonal service. I now go there for my new cat, who is thankfully healthy, and the service is just as attentive. read more

We could not be more pleased with Dr. Nicole and staff. We were recommended to see Dr. Nicole because our 10 year old Lab could barely walk after slipping on the kitchen floor. With Dr. Nicole's caring ways, treatment and expertise our lab now runs,plays fetch, enjoys going for walks and swims. We travel quite a distance to see Dr. Nicole and staff and yes at times we've waited to see her. In my mind that's a sign of a great doctor. She takes her time with each and every one of her clients. You never leave feeling unheard or rushed. All the staff at Natural Healing Pet Center are angels and could not be more professional....even calling on their days off to see how our lab is doing. There aren't words to describe how grateful we are to Dr. Nicole and staff for giving our girl quality of life again. Truly amazing. We are so very blessed to have them in our lives. Our lab is a great judge of character and she literally can't wait to see all the staff there. I am so grateful to finally have found Dr. LeVeque. There are very few veterinarians in our area that practice the kind of complementary medicine that she does. She is very kind and compassionate and very astute in her diagnostic ability. My 11 year old dog goes to her for spinal adjustments and acupuncture. Dr. Nicole has also helped me to develop a rehab program for increasing muscle strength and flexibility. I can't believe what a huge difference it has made. Everyone on the staff is so kind and friendly. The office is warm and welcoming and there is an amazing fenced in garden for my dog to play in if we need to wait for a few minutes. I am so pleased with the care my dog receives at Natural Healing Pet Care, I wouldn't go anywhere else. And I'd rather go to a veterinarian that takes the necessary time with my animal than one that rushes through an appointment just to stay on time. I can't say enough about Dr. Nicole Leveque and her caring and friendly staff. Walking into her office immediately calms the spirit of both the pet and the owner. The sound of gently trickling water, the light scent of lavender and garden views in every room make the space a delight. Even though I typically make last-minute appointments, I have never had any trouble getting in to see Dr. Nicole. When I arrive at the office I don't recall ever having to wait very long. Whatever time I have spent waiting has gone by quickly in the company of the warm and friendly officer manager at the front desk, or in a quiet exam room where my cat and I have the choice of sitting on comfortable cushioned furniture, open carpet space or a padded window seat looking onto the garden. Dr Nicole has time for everyone and makes a connection with each animal. I chose Natural Healing Pet Care because I wasn't having good results with my traditional vet. My 9 year old Chihuahua Julie was diagnosed with several herniated cervical discs. It was recommended that she undergo surgery. (estimated at $5,000) Instead I brought her to Natural Healing Pet Care. Thank God! Dr. LeVeque examined her and recommended acupuncture and laser therapy. Julie was in too much pain to even think about adjusting on that first visit. She was having muscle spasms which stopped during her first acupuncture treatment and she was able to be adjusted by her second visit. At this point she was already returning to the happy girl that I'd been missing! She has continued with the laser therapy and occasional acupuncture; along with a few more adjustments. She is totally back to her healthy self and now my biggest worry is keeping her from jumping all over the place! Dr. Nicole is the best healing vet for animals there is. I started taking my animals to her about 11 years ago when she worked at a vet office in Livonia, and when one of my dogs bloated she performed immediate surgeory saving his life. After working all day, she stayed until 10:00 p.m. after the office closed to make sure he was doing well enough for me to transport to a 24 hour emergency care facility. She always goes above and beyond because of her genuine love of animals. She is truly an amazing person. I like her natural approach to the total well being of your pet, and animals respond really well to her calm energy. Her healing center is not like any vet office you have been to. It's zen-like, and tranquil setting is such a nice change from the typical cold, sterile feeling from regular vet offices. Dr. Nicole actually sits down on the floor, which by the way is a rug, to examine your pet. It's an awesome place to take your pet for healing. Everyone there is really nice. My wife and I and our precious animals have relied with confidence on Dr. Nicole LeVeque and her staff for more than three years. It is no surprise that the practice thrives; the professionalism and compassion that Dr. Nicole and her entire staff always display are models for vet practices everywhere to emulate. It is ludicrous that Dr. Nicole and her people were subjected to the childlike and disrespectful behavior ascribed to Jason K.- and then to his rant on YELP (8/28/2014). The incident itself defies belief, but the rant is one of those things that should have been shouted while standing in the middle of a vacant 40-acre field. Having revealed an unflattering side of himself to the cyber-universe, however, Jason would seem to possibly benefit from professional help, if not for himself, for the people who share his world. read more

I could not be more thankful for Natural Healing Pet Care. We have been taking our 11-year old lab, Cooper, to see Dr. Eva for acupuncture to help her with her breathing for the last few months. She had developed laryngeal paralysis which turns out was a complication from a thymoma tumor and accompanying myasthenia gravis. Despite trying everything we could and hoping our love for her could fix her, we had to make the decision to put her to sleep a couple of days ago. She went downhill very quickly. One day she was doing just fine, the next she was in severe distress. Basically, there was nothing more that we could do for her. Dr. Eva and the staff made her last few months with us so much better than we could ask for. I would not hesitate to take any of my dogs to see them for anything. Dr. Nicole puts my dog to sleep he is so relaxed while he is there! He used to hate going to the vet and dig his paws into the ground when we got to the front door. When he got home he would sleep for the rest of the day;his anxiety was sky high. At Natural Healing Pet Care, he walks right in, tail wagging and all. Dr. Nicole is gentle and calm. She doesn't have those tall exam tables in her exam rooms. She has plenty of natural light, wood floors and an oriental rug. She sits right on the floor with your dog on his level. You can join them and hold your pet while she is giving the exam to calm your dog even further. Like I said, my dog usually closes his eyes during an exam or treatment. I was a client in the waiting room when Jason K. arrived for his appointment. He was greeted as he came in, even though there were several clients at the desk checking out. Those of us that come to Natural Healing Pet Care as regulars, deeply value the doctors and staff here. They are nothing but warm and professional. I observed the office manager approach Jason K. and try to explain that Dr. LeVeque was running late and that's when it got ugly. He began swearing and throwing F-bombs at the poor woman. I give her credit that she remained calm during this loud rant. Dr. LeVeque came out to try to talk to him but he continued to shout obscenities as he slammed out of the building. I found this place after my dog was diagnosed with cancer and I wanted to pursue holistic care for her. That was 3 years ago! My dog is 12 years old now and is in the greatest shape. I also take all my other dogs there since they are all performance dogs (agility and hunting) and I don't trust anyone else to keep them in top shape! Also, everyone in the office is really really nice, they all know your dogs and my dogs all get so excited when they come there like they are going to a friends house. Never a reason for any of them to be nervous about coming here, especially when they get to run around the gardens out back. dr nicole is the greatest!!! my beautiful golden retriever had horrific allergies until dr nicole was able to get her off the terrible prednisone that she had been taking to help her survive the allergies but it was slowly killing her.she receives kinder treatments which are much more helpful to her. she is a great holistic vet and all of her staff has been very helpful and courteous each and every time we have gone to her office. i highly recommend dr nicole's office to anyone who wants compassionate care for their pet. we love her and her office staff!!! they are great!!!! read more

One of my favorite people on the planet...not kidding, is (Dr) Nicole. Not only does she know her traditional vet medicine, she's beyond capable and conversant in alternate healing modalities.
