Dr. Carter got the test results and was not convinced it was lymphoma. She had us get different meds and order more testing. Within 48 hours of taking the non-lymphoma meds our cat was acting livelier than she had in months. Additional testing is still not 100% conclusive that we're out of the woods yet, but it is much more likely that our cat DOES NOT have cancer. Our family cannot thank Dr. Carter enough for her care and attention devoted to our lil' baby. We cannot imagine the route we would have taken had Dr. Carter not went the extra mile and treated our cat as if it was her own. We will be Dr. Carter patients for life!

He has been seen at multiple veterinary clinics in the past and has never had this type of symptom before. I was also told by a technician that the fecal test had already been prepaid. They provided me with a fecal collection tube and explained that I could bring in a sample within 30 days at no additional charge. Since my dog was sick, I asked my boyfriend to drop off the sample for me. When he came back home, he told me he was charged for the test. I called the clinic afterward, and while they acknowledged that the misinformation came from their staff, they refused to correct the issue. Kayla told me, "We'll take this as a learning opportunity for our technicians to communicate better.", which I think is a ridiculous response. It was disappointing that the practice manager chose not to resolve a mistake that the clinic admitted was their responsibility. That response says a lot about how customer concerns are handled at their clinic. Also, the clinic offers a $10 discount for writing a review. Potential clients should be aware that some reviews may have been influenced by this incentive.

This told us everything we needed to know about the kind of person he is. Dr. John explained every detail of the process with clarity and patience. He told us what to expect, answered every question, and made sure we felt supported through every step. His presence reminded me so much of my brother -- the way he knew exactly when to be serious and when to bring a little light into the room. That familiar warmth meant more than I can put into words. When Daisy took her last breath at 9:28pm, he honored us by giving us private time with her. They both stepped outside into the freezing cold -- during a polar vortex with sub‑zero wind chills -- just so we could have those sacred final moments in peace. That level of respect and empathy is something I will never forget. What touched us even more was his integrity. He knew we had already spent nearly $3,000 on emergency vet visits earlier in the month and still came without expecting ANYTHING in return. The receptionist refused to ask the veterinarian for me. In fact, in response to me asking her if she could just ask him, she laughed sarcastically and said "what, do you not believe me?". I understand that this practice does not cater to aquatic animals but the absolute disdain and callousness of the receptionist in the face of my grief and desperation was heart breaking. Do not take your loved ones here if you expect an empathetic welcome from the suppor staff. You'll be laughed at, belittled, and disregarded.
