Very sweet preschool program! The teachers have always been so kind, compassionate and loving toward my son. I've never had to convince him to go to school, and that's saying a lot because he's 3 haha! I also love that this is a biblical-based school, and my son often does our dinner-time prayer that he has learned during snack time. New to the area, we had considered another preschool that was closer to our home, but ultimately decided on CBNS. I'm so glad we did, because I've seem him grow and just genuinely enjoy his preschool experience. The drive through drop off/pick up is also a wonderful bonus because I always have other children in the car! We moved into the area from the other side of the country right when my 3 year old was getting ready to start preschool. All I could do from that long of a distance was look online to try and find somewhere for him to attend and lucky for me, I stumbled upon CBNS! Finding CBNS was the BEST thing that could've ever happened for my child and our family! The way they run the school allows for so much growth not only in education, but in dealing with big emotions, learning how to interact and play well with other kids, and experiencing how our differences make us special with the diversity. The smaller classes allow for personal relationships with the teacher and classmates. My son's favorite people are his friends at school! It truly is a hidden gem in the area. I was worried about my second child's transition to school as she was home with me during the pandemic and a bit weary of strangers. We were very nervous about putting our 3 year old daughter in school, she had no experience being in a daycare or grandparents care and had always been home with me especially during the pandemic. CBNS came highly recommended by our neighbor whose 4 kids went through the programs and thrived. CBNS was the first school we visited and we felt comfortable right away. We saw a lot of improvements in our daughter, not only academically but emotionally and socially. It is hard to put into words how grateful I am for this preschool but I will try. When my son was three he attended a different preschool. He had a very hard time there because they didn't have a discipline program. He was being constantly hit and bit by another student. He started to get a lot of anxiety about going to school and even started to stutter. We changed schools for his four year old preschool year. We decided to enroll him in Claremont Baptist. From the first day he attended, his whole world changed. It is a structured preschool with amazing teachers. My son had Mrs Duron and she helped to foster his love of learning and his love of school. The teachers are kind, compassionate, hard working and very nice people. They even send home homework (not hard homework) in the four year old class and prepare kids for kindergarten. I teach at a local elementary school and it is very apparent which students come from this preschool versus others. The students from Baptist are more prepared for kindergarten and are used to a true learning environment. I would like to also add they they do have a discipline program here which I respect. It is a very appropriate program (warning, thinking chair, office) and I believe that kids have to realize that there are consequences for their actions. But most of all, for my son, this made all the difference. When a child in his class was misbehaving, he realized that there were consequences and children were not allowed to be mean to other children. He knew that he was now safe from being hurt at school. It is hard to put into words how much this changed him. He stopped stuttering and was able to thrive in school. We also sent my twins to this school for their three year old preschool program. This program focused on playing with peers as well as learning. They had a wonderful time and loved school and Mrs. Lott very much. The younger programs are less academic in nature and more growing and developing and learning through play and some structured activities. It is very appropriate for their age. I want to also add that during the holidays they put on a cute Halloween parade as well. They work hard to put together a beautiful Christmas program and an end of the year graduation program for the four year olds. They also have an open house once a year where you can come see all of the students work. I recommend this school to everyone and can't say enough how very happy we were here and how grateful we are to everyone who works here for helping our children learn and grow in a safe environment. We are so blessed by this school! I wanted to put my child in a preschool that had gentle teaching techniques for my young one and CBNS does exactly that. They focus on teaching through play and crafts which is perfect for young ones. The teachers and staff do it out of love and it's not just a "job" for them. We love Claremont Baptist pre-school! We live in the Claremont area and have been asking around for a year before deciding on a school for our 2.5 year old. My son loves his teacher, Mrs. Ross, and he learns so much every day he attends! When we drop him off for school it is a breeze because we pull up to the door, Mrs. Hodges greets us, takes my son out of the car, I sign him in and drive off! If I have any concerns I can write them down and send it to school with him or simply set up an appointment during off hours to meet with his teacher. I just love, love, love this little school. My son went here a few years ago and now I'm sending my daughter here. Most of the teachers and administration have been there for years and, as a result, they are well-structured and completely know what they are doing. It's a very loving environment and it's easy to communicate with the teachers when/if there are issues. The class sizes are small and you feel the individual attention the children get.
