Words can't really describe the gratitude I have for Ms. Tameka and CCC acting studio. I'll try. My daughter decided 3 years ago she wanted to be an actress. Immediately we went to work and found and agent. Modeling jobs were happening and were easy but we really didn't know how to get the acting jobs. I personally don't have the experience to help my daughter. So one night on a whim I looked up acting class in the midst of the pandemic. I found ccc acting and emailed Tameka at like 3am. She called me the next day and we chatted for about 30/45 minutes. She is as so informative and supportive and honest! We started the following month! What an amazing journey it has been! I have learned so much- Tameka is ALWAYS willing to help me as a parent to a child actor. WELP....COVID-19 was responsible for putting MANY dreams, aspirations, desires and goals on hold. NOT so true when it came down to CCC Acting Studios, Mrs. Tameka Cruel (owner) and her team!!! This is the most AMAZING, FABULOUS and AWESOME establishment for young actors to get ALL of what they need; if they are passionate and willing to do the work. My 11 yr old daughter was certain that she wants to be a "Disney" actor. We were referred to Ms Tameka by a fellow classmate and student at CCC. Initially, due to my daughter meeting Ms Tameka virtually, she was a little reserved. Ms Tameka gave her instructions/directions over and over. It took a while but Ms. Tameka didn't give up on her, she pushed her more because she believed in my daughter. Ms Tameka, in her loving but no nonsense fashion, continued to work with my daughter AND then it happened!!! It all came together and Ms Tameka saw and was pleased with my daughter's progress. My son has been taking acting classes here for a few months and His teachers have been wonderful. It's hard to find a kids acting school in the OC that compares to those in LA, but we found it! Tameka cruel, the owner is the sweetest and we've had private coaching sessions with her and my son has since booked a tv show. Some people will tell you don't take acting classes as kids, it makes them too rehearsed. But Tameka knows exactly how to help your kid shine w his or her own personality without being overly rehearsed or fake. Amazing, amazing and even more amazing! Tameka is a rare gem in this industry! My son has been working as a model for the past 4 years with print jobs working top brands from LA to NYC! CCC definitely exemplifies its name Create Confident Characters. Me and my daughter met Mrs. Tameka mid July 2020 and she was completely honest with us and gave me a complete layout of what the industry is like and what work would be needed to succeed. After my talk we both knew from the time that we hung up that this would be a long term emotional and financial investment that me and my daughter was excited to make. Due to the pandemic we've only been able to attend online acting courses and all I can say is that I'm in complete awe to see before my eyes my daughter transform in front of me. Since being with the CCC family my daughter has literally gotten callbacks after every audition and 1 Avail so far and I owe that to what Mrs. Tameka and Jackie have instilled in my child. Mind you these classes are ZOOM so I can only imagine how amazing in person is. I've been taking my daughter Allisa to Tameka, and CCC Acting Studio, for almost a year now, and I can say that it is one of the best decisions we've ever made.
