They sent me all the way to EXER in Silverlake- (my friend driving me) to have an URGENT- NO WAIT TIME - X-ray. This Silverlake crew should ALL be fired. The girl at the desk was friendly - but the three males were cocky & rude -made me wait 2 1/2 hours - verbally abusiva -X-ray tech took his 30 minute break - after I had been waiting over 30 min already - then after he was back they said I had to wait at least 30 min more - I called back to LABrea - they said they'd call. It didn't help. After 2 Plus hours the cocky guy took me in for X-ray which took less than 2 minutes. They did not give me e a report, a disc, absolutely nothing. They said I had to go back to LaBrea. No X-ray there -just a message I broke my "pinky" - This mid-diagnosis caused me horrendous pain -the next day I called Cedars Hand Specialists finally got an appointment for Tuesday. Finally got real X-rays. Scheduled for emergency surgery after pre-op tests. MAJOR SURGERY on bone in hand completely severed diagonally- now with plate, wires, bolts, clamps inside holding the two pieces together - third cast after first post op. STAY AWAY FROM SILVERLAKE. ONLU USE LA BREA FOR MINOR PROBLEM. EXER SHOULD CLOSE SILVERLAKE LOCATION.

DO NOT GO HERE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES. I came to this urgent care when I sliced my fingertip and…read moreleft with damage to my finger which cost me thousands of dollars and multiple additional dr's visits to repair. When I arrived, the nurse submerged my wound in pure iodine then left the room, telling me to leave it in until she came back. It hurt so badly and she was gone for so long that I had to take it out. I called for help but was not heard. When she finally came back I had taken my hand out of the iodine and was bleeding into the sink. A dr came in and began using silver nitrate on a stick to seal the wound. I have since learned that this was wholly unnecessary. He kept doing it over and over again, even after I was crying and telling him I couldn't handle the pain again. During this time, another dr wandered in and started looking for things in a drawer. My finger was now charred black and swollen. The dr treating me then put dermaglue over the caustic chemical and I was advised not to wash it off for 7 days. This advice was incorrect. I was later told that I was supposed to wash it off the following day. When he was finally done, I asked the dr if I should go to the ER, as I suspected by this point that something had gone wrong. He kind of scoffed at me and said "unless they have a plastic surgeon there's no point. You're fine." The glue over the nitrate caused such severe pain that I ended up in the ER that night anyway. Following this, the silver nitrate under the glue caused an infection which required a procedure to remove the glue from my skin. by this point my nail had grown over some of the debris from the glue, and this caused repeat infections while I waited for a more extensive surgery to remove the nail itself. When I called San Feliz urgent care to ask that I, at minimum, do not pay for the appointment where this happened, I was argued with by the staff member. She went back and forth with me claiming that I could be lying about the advice given by doctors after my visit. She claimed she'd have a supervisor call me back and this never happened. My appointment was charged on an auto-pay, and they also charged my insurance the full cost of the visit. I feel in need of an advocate to help me navigate the situation further. This situation cost me days of work, 4 months of pain and uncertainty, and so much money. Please, please go anywhere else. I wish I had found a different urgent care that night.

I don't even know where to begin when it comes to how horrible this place is. The office was a bit…read moreshabby but not too bad. We went in July, the doctor who saw my son made various jokes that left us uncomfortable. She called my son a flirt because he was squinting at her, overall such bizarre behavior. She did the bare minimum, took his vitals asked some questions. We asked for a referral and she said she would handle it. After a couple weeks and no referral I call them. They said we had the wrong doctor on our insurance. We let them know that's false, they say "oh well you have to come back for another appointment." We state that we were just in and just need the referral sent. They say they will do it. More weeks go by, nothing. I call my insurance they do not have any referral request from them, I call the doctors office and they say they sent it but it hasn't been approved by my insurance. At this point it's clear they're lying. So here we are it's almost October and no progress. I would highly discourage other parents take their kids there.
