I selected the day and time for my balloon pickup. Since I had other items they held them to be picked up on the date of my balloon order. When I arrived I was happy to find 4 curbside pickup parking spaces. You have the option of clicking a link in your ordering email or calling the store number posted on the sign. I called the number and let them know I placed another order for some Halloween items. The store associates had already pulled this order and had it waiting with my initial order. How organized. Someone brought all of my items outside and loaded everything into my trunk. The balloons were huge, but properly secured. Although we both were masked, we never made any actual contact with each other. This was a fast, easy, and most of all safe process. Not to mention all of my items look great!

When I got my balloons they smelled like cigarette smoke and I could not keep them in my house or use them for the party. When called to see if I can get replacement because I have a newborn that cannot be around cigarette smoke they basically said it's not their problem. Now I don't have balloons for my sons party and I'm out 57 dollars for them. Leaving this review to warn people that once it "leaves the store" they won't replace if delivery goes wrong.

I will say that I found almost everything I was looking for! I asked the help of a kind employee who just so happened to walk me over and point out the last of something I needed. Hells yes. Unfortunately the first employee I asked for help was an uninterested teenager too bothered to leave her "post"... womp, womp. After my great experience finding all sorts of great stuff (for cheap), I descended on the check-out. There was one, inefficient teenager (again) ringing out an older lady and was arguing with her over the price of gift bags. Then, that lead to someone cutting in front of me and then continued on with everything imaginable going wrong with the order. Oh yes, price tag arguments, register out of tape, girl waiting for new tape, girl trying to figure out how to insert tape, tape inserted wrong--you get the drift. 10 minutes later, the nice gentlemen who helped me in the first place took me over to a new register to ring out my cart (thank GOD.) I ended up leaving well before the old lady did. So, Party City still sits at 3 stars. They need to make sure all their employees are on their customer service game and not just one of them.

The day before I was supposed to pick up the balloons I called and asked if I could change my order and as I had over bought. I was told that as long as I had one receipt that this would not be a problem. When I went to the store I was told I needed both receipts by the manager. When I explained that I had spoken to someone earlier she told me that I was lying and that I could not change my order. I asked to speak to someone else and was given what I was told was her district managers number. She immediately got on the phone and was talking very rudely about me and laughing. While I was still in the store I called the number that was given to me and it was a fax number. When I brought this to the managers attention, she laughed in my face and threw a card with a different number on it at me. I have never seen anyone act so unprofessional in my entire life. I will never shop there again!
