I was referred to CCRM for a GYN issue that required surgery. While the front desk gave me the run-around for close to 3 weeks with my begging Dr. Minjarez to take me on as a new patient, I finally got scheduled to see Dr. Brown - 2 months down the road. (Clearly, I am persuasive. That, or plain persistent). Dr. Brown is phenomenal. Great bedside manner (warm and friendly), really comforting especially when facing life-altering decisions, and overall a highly qualified and skilled doctor who doesn't make you feel guilty for asking a laundry list of questions (or asking them multiple times). I felt totally at ease prior to surgery knowing I had made the right decision to go with Dr. Brown's recommendations. Alas surgery was a success and Dr. Brown paid me 2 separate visits in the hospital to check in with me (one was even the next morning in Denver before heading to the Lone Tree office to see patients). I recognize that in this day-and-age health care practices are often run much like factories (and CCRM is no exception to some degree) but my experience was personal and professional. I am completely satisfied with the outcome and could not be happier that I chose Dr. Brown for my care. Ruby is awesome, too. Overall, a really positive experience. read more

I was promised a free consultation, and instead, got a 12-minute phone call, an hour late, they bumped it up 2 weeks earlier so they didn't have my medical records or insurance card, said that was fine, not to worry, then surprise-billed me almost $400.00 for 12 minutes on the phone with a doctor. Since then, I've sent in my insurance card, they said they'd try to bill insurance. No emails. No call backs. Crickets. These people are lying scam artists taking advantage of vulnerable women. Run! There are so many moral, ethical clinics in CO. Avoid these rapscallian theives like the plauge. read more

Yesterday I accompanied my friend to CCRM in Lone Tree. My friend is receiving cancer treatment and has to begin chemo within a matter of weeks. She is young with a strong desire to have children and really wants to preserve her eggs. She recently lost her job of 9 years. In addition to all of this, she is still recovering from a concussion sustained during an accident a few months ago. My friend has not been cleared medically to work so she is currently unemployed. Due to these circumstances, she applied for grant assistance from Chick Mission and had been in active communication with the two entities. CCRM instructed her to make the 4 hour journey from our rural community to Denver to go ahead and start the process. Upon arrival, my friend was promptly given an exam and was then told that based on her cycle, she should go ahead and start the medications today. I sat with my needle-phobic friend as CCRM RN, Tracy, compassionately showed her how to inject herself in the stomach. We also met with the counselor, Melissa, who was wonderful. We were expecting to have to drive through a snow storm so tried to speed up the visit as much as possible. Tracy kindly told us that we could talk with the financial dept. on the phone while driving. We were an hour into the mountains when my friend received a very rude and terse call from Shari in their billing office, who btw, has other bad reviews here. Shari said that my friend had to pay $10,000 immediately or she would not be able to have the scheduled call with Dr. Kondapalli in the morning, would have to ship all the medications back and would not be able to proceed with treatment. My friend explained that she had been approved for funding by Chick Mission and that everyone she had met with at CCRM knew this and had told her that it would likely go through. Shari said that CCRM did not have a contract in place with Chick Mission and would not entertain one. My friend spoke with the Executive Director of Chick Mission via phone who reported that she has attempted to reach CCRM on numerous occasions and had received no reply. (Interestingly enough, Chick Mission does contract with other CCRM locations). My friend is completely stressed, depressed, shocked and overwhelmed at the thought of starting this whole process over again with another clinic. And the clock is ticking with chemotherapy looming just in front of her. So today, Dec. 28, 2022, my friend is sitting in temporary housing with two bags of medications which she must now return because this company will not accept funding from Chick Mission. I could probably go on for days about how I feel about CCRM. Did I become pregnant there? No. Do I have the family I dreamed of. Absolutely. The care I received was top notch. I was a patient from 2013-2015. I underwent surgery, used their donor egg program and used a gestational carrier. We have even donated our remaining embryos to their embryo donation program. I had a spontaneous, natural pregnancy during my GC's pregnancy so we have 3 beautiful children (5 months apart!). I worked with Dr. Gustofson, whom I absolutely adored. The nurses that I worked with (there were many due to the different directions we took) were Brooke, Cheryl, Cindy, Christy and Katie. Cindy and Katie were the two I worked with the most and they were fantastic. I wouldn't have any of my children if it weren't for them. read more

They listened to our concerns and previous experiences and developed an individualized protocol for us! And it worked!!! We are proud parents to a little boy now! I can only speak on behalf of the egg donor department and the surgery center. I did not speak with or meet any of their doctors besides when I was going into my egg retrieval, but this was not enough time to properly evaluate him or his work. I will say the egg donation coordinators are all amazing. I worked with Christy throughout my second donation cycle (first with CCRM) and she was the best!! She was always available by phone or email and responded back quickly. She was very caring and walked me through the entire process throughly during my screening appointment. This clinic is THROUGH. Their screening process was long but none of it was spent waiting in waiting rooms. They know how to schedule everything appropriately and in a timely manner which I really appreciated. Once I started the fertility medications I had an ultrasound and blood work done daily. This was unlike my first cycle as they only would do an ultrasound and blood work every other day. This is a way better system because they could tell my Hormone levels became too elevated!! They also let me know this multiple times and didn't keep me in the dark like other egg donation centers do. The lab techs and radiology techs are great and I would never bruise when my blood was drawn, unlike how I usually do. They are all sweet! I could not speak more highly of the surgery center as they were very clean and had each patient in their own surgical waiting room. Most fertility centers have everyone in one big room with curtains to separate you. The nurse let my companion come back with me which was awesome when other places do not because they are worried about privacy. My surgical nurse was very kind as well and made sure I was feeling relaxed the entire time. All details for comfort were accounted for as they even numb your arm before placing the IV. Before you go into surgery they let you speak with the surgeon and the anesthesiologist quickly who were both very nice. The anesthesiologist kept making jokes until I was out in order to help calm any nerves. One thing I really liked about this clinic was that they wheel you into the surgery suite after giving you meds to become sleeping instead of making you walk in and giving you meds then. If you are reading this - please don't choose your fertility clinic based on YELP!!! Science can't be rated on YELP. I was told by multiple IVF clinics I would never have a biological child... Dr Scholcraft said he would give it a try and see what happens but doesn't recommend using my own eggs. With the support of Michelle Chase RN and the rest of the staff at CCRM - I have 2 healthy kids. It was a process but followed what I was told and I was blessed to have 2 beautiful kids when I was given no hope by some of "best RE" in the country!! Thank you CCRM!!! I'm incredibly thankful to have found Dr. Schoolcraft and CCRM. After years of fertility treatments and unsuccessful rounds of IVF in Chicago, we went out to Colorado and it was the best decision of our lives. Aside from the medical and scientific capabilities of the doctors and labs, our nurse, Morgan, was a lifesaver for me. She stayed on top of our case so closely and didn't miss a beat. The genetic department and embryologists were the same--I fully trusted in their advice and the course and protocols they put me on. Dr. Schoolcraft took the time to get creative with my protocol and, because of that, I am currently playing with my beautiful baby girl. When you cycle at CCRM, these are the things that you should expect: 1) Treatment of all patients with respect and frankly addressing all questions and concerns without retaliation. 2) Attention to patient histories and records. 3) Clearly assessing and explaining protocols used at CCRM or elsewhere for a particular patient. 4) Explanation of the various options for genetic testing for both patients and embryos. 5) Offering a clear path to collecting and processing patient concerns. I've had nothing but positive experiences with CCRM. My first IVF cycle with FET in 2015 resulted in my amazing son who is now a healthy 2 year old. Recent visit and phone appointments have not disappointed either. The staff has been nothing short of being friendly and helpful. I was strung along by this place for more than a year. I started the egg donation process in March 2016 and my application was put on hold because I had gotten a piercing less than a year prior. I understand that ruling out blood borne illness is critically important, but I had verified proof that my piercing came from sterile single use equipment. I feel like that proof should be enough, but it's their call, not mine Fast forward a year to last month, they called me back and I was still interested in donating my eggs, so I got as far as my first office visit. They were very hospitable for the first part of my visit. I did two hours worth of paperwork, tests, and psychological evaluations before I was again shut down because I did not have enough follicles to be a suitable donor. Again, that's fine. But the second they found that out, they were practically pushing me out the door. As soon as they found out I couldn't bring their practice any money, it felt like I was wasting their time. The worst part about this experience was that at the end the woman I spoke to told me to call her back if I ever needed help with my own fertility problems in the future. I wouldn't consider not being a viable donor to be a "problem" and it seemed like a very snarky thing to say. And that's the last place I will go in the event that I ever do have problems with my own fertility. read more

My only regret is not seeing Dr. Schoolcraft first. After completing 2 failed rounds of IVF elsewhere, I knew I was in great with Dr. S. His lab is superior to others, as CCRM is able to perform IVM in addition to IVF. There is a reason why people fly in from all over the world to see him. He studied my history and together we decided to do IVM protocols. It took me three years from start to finish, but I am writing this review today after having just given birth to a miracle daughter who could not be happier or healthier. All staff, from phlebotomists, ultrasound techs, schedulers and nurses are top-notch. Yes, there will always be hiccups along the way as other reviewers point out. The fertility journey is not all roses and champagne. In fact, it is the most brutal journey you will ever take, waiting to break you at every turn. However, if you keep your end goal in mind and you don't give up, you can get what you want. read more

My husband and I are beyond grateful to have worked with Dr. Surrey. We saw three different doctors before coming to CCRM and each of them gave us low odds and a sub-par experience. From the moment we met with Dr. Surrey, we felt immediately at ease. For example, at other clinics sonographers would have a difficult time finding my left ovary or would mismeasure follicles. I would often walk away in tears. Every ultrasound at CCRM was consistent and a positive experience. Furthermore, Dr. Surrey treated our individual case and didn't make me feel like a number. He was out of town for one of my cycles yet he prepped the doctor taking over on the specifics of my case and gave strict instructions on when to cancel. This made me feel so at ease to know that even with him gone there was consistency of care and my case mattered. He is a realist and will not sugar coat things, but he also said that he would give my case 110% and he absolutely did that and more. After a few years of hard work, we just welcomed our second. We will forever be indebted to Dr. Surrey and CCRM for giving us the opportunity to be parents. read more

This was my 3rd IVF retrieval and transfer but my first at CCRM. The amount I paid was twice of what I paid for either of my other two IVF's as well as the twice the amount of the national average of this type of service. The Dr I saw, Dr Schoolcraft, all but guaranteed that by using his clinic, I am paying for their stellar lab and exceptional service. So you might understand my dissatisfaction at having to constantly call my nurse to find out next steps and continually be told incorrect information. What's worse, when my husband and I met with Schoolcraft, we told him about how we really wanted a fresh transfer and he said we could do that. When my nurse provided my retrieval and transfer calendar (after I had to first initiate the call), you can understand my confusion when it said I would be doing a freeze all and several months later we would finally be transferring. I immediately called to find out why this mistake happened and she said the dr's don't really know how the medication protocol they prescribe affects the direction of doing a frozen or fresh transfer. WTF??? How can the dr NOT know that??? So because I was on an aggressive protocol, we would not be able to do a fresh transfer because those medications would make my uterus uninhabitable for the rest of that cycle. Additionally, I continually got lumped into the "masses", meaning, they usually do day 5 transfers but because I was a day 3, they lost their heads a bit. They even told me to come in 2 days early for my beta hcg because no one bothered to look at my paperwork to see I was a day 3 transfer, not a day 5. In summary, the fact that our cycle didn't work, is not affecting this review. My husband and I are supremely disappointed in the amount of money we paid and the service we received. For $23,000 we expect to be treated like MVP's but instead we were 100% treated like a puppy mill. I would not recommend CCRM unless you have "normal" eggs. If you're normal, you'll probably be a day 5 and then it's okay to get treated like everyone else, however if you're that "normal" there's really no reason to pay $23000 at this clinic when you could just go to a regularly priced clinic and get the same results. #OverPaidUnderServiced UPDATE 4/4/19: After the terrible cycle I had at CCRM, we travelled to New York, to try one last time at CNY in Latham, NY. I was soooo impressed. They were willing to all of the things I requested (and wanted CCRM to do). I wanted a fresh transfer and I wanted my embryo transferred on day 2. I knew I wouldn't have many, if even ONE, by day 2 and they were totally fine with transferring on day 2! We had retrieval on 3/9/19, transfer was on day 2 which was Monday 3/11/19. 7 days later I started taking home pg tests and got my double pinks! On Tuesday, 4/2 i had my first ultrasound which revealed a perfect little baby with a yolk sac. Next Tuesday, 4/9 we will have a follow up ultrasound and expect to see a beautiful heartbeat fluttering away. All of this to say, CNY is sooo much better than CCRM. I was treated like cattle at CCRM, no one remembered anything about my unique cycle, even when the dr told my husband and I TO OUR FACE that we could have a fresh transfer, we were still put into a freeze all cycle. My delicate eggs/embryo's didn't handle that well, didn't develop well and even though it survived the thaw, it didn't survive implantation and the cycle was a bust. That was my only IVF that had ever failed and I truly believe it was because of the freezing, which we never wanted!! CCRM claims to have this amazing technology that no one else possesses but that's not necessarily true or going to help you. if this is your first ivf, go with a cheaper clinic, please! You should only be going to CCRM if you have a specific issue or have had failed cycles elsewhere, they're not as unique and special as they claim to be. By the way, for my cycle, meds, airfare, accommodations and EVERYTHING, my CNY cycle was approximately $7500 as compared to over $23,000 at CCRM. DO THE MATH AND GO TO CNY! read more

We went to CCRM for its success rates, paying out of pocket to do so, from out of state. We don't blame our doctor for the failure to conceive. We knew it was a long shot, and we rolled the dice. However, we do blame CCRM for the horrible way it treats its patients. As a paying patient, you cannot send an e-mail to a nurse, never mind your doctor. You cannot call anyone on a direct line; it's difficult to even reach a human being during business hours. You can't even leave a voicemail other than to ask a nurse to call you back; if you leave any information beyond that or any question at all, the message-taker will not convey it to anyone. Even on the first day, I remember our being herded through the multiple appointments (nurses, billing person, phlebotomist, etc.) along with several other couples. They gave us a printed schedule, and we ourselves had to continually ask the receptionist (when she was at her post) where someone was whom we were supposed to meet with. Sometimes the person would be late, and we had to repeatedly inquire, lest we ourselves be late for the appointment with the next staff member. You would think that shelling out almost $30,000 of our own money would merit being treated with some courtesy and responsiveness. I guess you only get that if you're married to Donald Trump's flunky. Making it more confusing, Fertility Labs of Colorado--which is at the very desk across from CCRM in the same lobby--acts as a different business. So that you as the patient have to coordinate with them as well, constantly checking in to see if Person X is ready to meet with you. There was also a snafu in which CCRM faxed the pharmacy the same order twice, with both shipped to our home. Fortunately, the pharmacy allowed us to return the unopened duplicate order--a good thing, or we would have been out thousands more dollars, due to the idiocy of some CCRM staff member. One other thing we were incensed to discover after our treatment is that no one at CCRM told us that CCRM was doing a DHEA study, which we would have been interested in. They also make you redo every single test, even if you just had those tests done by a different fertility doctor. STD tests, semen analysis--everything. Very annoying. Also, the male "collection" rooms are plagued by noise from nearby treatment rooms. It's hard to focus on the task at hand if it sounds like someone is moving furniture down the hall and nurses are yelling at each other. To be fair, some of the nurses were nice in person. And the lobby is nice. The success rates are high, but that could be self-selection bias or some other factor. It didn't work for us. Again, we were prepared for that and accept it. But we shouldn't have been treated like we were at the DMV. read more

I cannot give enough stars for the staff at CCRM in Lone Tree. Dr Surrey is an amazing doctor who has a contagious, positive demeanor that keeps you positive even if he is delivering news you don't want to hear. And sometimes there was some bad news for me. By the time you get to a fertility clinic, you're already heard heartbreaking news/statistics. CCRM has wonderful doctors and nurses that are encouraging, communicate clearly, care about you and about you becoming a mother/father. And in spite of the fact that they can't guarantee a pregnancy, work with you to do everything possible to make it happen. And I mean everything. They know what they're doing, as they continue to perform ground-breaking research in infertility. I never had a question that my nurse, Dale - greatest nurse on earth - couldn't answer. If she didn't know, she found out and got back to me. On her day off, I would hear from other nurses who were also amazing, informed, and so helpful. (Tip: your nurse is your lifeline, so make sure you find a great one whichever clinic you choose.) They also house the best fertility lab in the country, making the process convenient while keeping your chances of success high, as they are the best at what they do. I am so in love with this clinic because they helped me to get pregnant - due in a month. And I recommend to my friends who ask about my IVF to at least make an appointment and research the varous success rates of CCRM vs other clinics. I got pregnant from the first transfer, as have many of the friends I've met at CCRM. I know not every patient at CCRM does, but so many of my friends around the country have tried multiple times at their respective local clinics (and paid for IVF multiple times) with no luck. You're going to spend an outrageous amount of money to do IVF anywhere. So I always suggest spending the extra $$ to fly to Denver and ensure your best chances of a pregnancy possible. I think it would cost too much financially and emotionally to go anywhere else. read more

The one star is for the 2 nice nurses we saw only once and for the radiologist who can do a painless HSG like a freakin pro. After two failed IVF cycles at CCRM, I think I am more qualified than Dr. Kondapalli to be an RE at CCRM. Because at least I read our chart. Between the poor communication, overworked and under-trained nurses, mishaps, poor protocol choices, lack of follow-up, what seems like an absolute refusal to look into the latest medical research and that stupid waterfall that is a slap in the face when you're taking out a home equity loan to pay for the treatment that costs tens of thousands less at clinics just as capable, I do not recommend this clinic. If you are going to go to CCRM, I get it. It feels like it's worth it. They tell you it is. While I do not recommend CCRM and their business model (push donor eggs and sperm and charge for anything and everything because they know they are dealing with something so personal and so devastating for people), my advice for those who are already patients or become patients is BE YOUR OWN ADVOCATE. Write down everything they say and make sure it's on your chart. Push, push push if you feel in your gut something is wrong. I am so happy for people who have been successful at CCRM and I'm sure they started out with good intentions. But they are a factory and you are a dollar sign. Ask why! Why this protocol? Why trigger at this time? Are there alternatives? Why are the doctors like freakin celebrities who you only see in passing and have to pay a bunch of money to get 5 minutes with them. Is this very expensive test necessary or are there individual tests that would find out what we need to know at a lower cost. If you have male factor infertility - they are going to refer you to Dr. Cowan. Beg. Plead. Cry like a freakin' baby before you see him. He does not understand male fertility and is moving too fast and is too defensive to prioritize care. If you're going to go there - try to see someone other than Dr. Kondapalli. She seems like a very sweet person, and her great bedside manner can make you justify that she's giving you bad, uninformed information. I never thought I'd write a yelp review about a fertility doctor but I feel like if I can keep what happened to me from happening to anyone else, I'll scream it from the e-rooftops. read more

It feels weird to write a negative review on such a sensitive issue on Yelp, but I think bad medical experiences need to be shared since often there's no other recourse and the whole arena of medicine can intimidate patients into silence. I spent thousands of dollars on two IVF cycles at CCRM with Dr. Surrey, and while he was a kind man, there were experiences along the way that made me regret the time and expense of going out of state. Dr. Surrey is nice, but the company has serious problems with the front office and nursing staff. I had the same experience echoed by others with "lost" emails and the incredibly frustrating telephone system that makes it near impossible to connect with someone and get answers. My first nurse was unresponsive a number of times and also messed up a prescription which could have thrown off my cycle if I hadn't been through this before and questioned it, though it took 3 days before I got an answer that indeed the dosing was incorrect. She "left for personal reasons" and I got a very apologetic call from the CFO. Later, I had an early LH surge and they had to cancel my retrieval. CCRM offered to refund my lab and US costs because of all these negative experiences. I appreciated it, but I wonder if they kept me on stims too long and I think this was their way of trying to make up for it. An US tech missed a significant size jump in one of my follicles because she was having a hard time seeing it and I wonder if they let my follicles get too large. They won't admit that was a factor, but considering a LH surge is very rare (4% of cases), and I never had this issue in two prior IVFs with my local doctor, it's disconcerting. The next nurse assigned to my second IVF attempt was better, but she also communicated an incorrect stim instruction. They give you dosing information on a one-page printout but only for the first 6 days or so. From there, you get a phone call at the end of each day with the next set of instructions. Without a document or online tracking system that is sharable between doctor, nurse, and patient to keep everyone accountable, mistakes are made. I also had scheduling issues. They forgot to schedule my pre-op physical. They also cancelled an ultrasound without informing me, even though I still needed it per Dr. Surrey's orders, and had to argue with two staff members before they discovered their error. Fine, stuff like this happens, but it should be occasional and at this point I realized it was endemic at CCRM. These are all correctable administrative issues but the doctors and top management need to know what's going on because a lot of the errors are only known to the front staff and nurses. I'm sure they are not divulging their mistakes to the doctors, so it's really up to the patients to communicate. I hope the company takes the time to read these reviews and see there is a pattern. And, for all their high tech equipment and dazzling statistics, I left with one cycle that ended with an early LH surge (no retrieval) and another cycle with no Day 5 blastocysts. I did much better with my local doctor, and at least got blastocysts to transfer on two cycles. That may not have resulted in BFP but at least I was handled with compassion, professionalism, and clarity. CCRM needs to work on more than just pumping up their numbers. read more

We ultimately had a good outcome (positive pregnancy) w CCRM. Dr G was caring, smart, and responsive. The nurses at the Lone Tree office were of extremely high quality. But we had an awful experience w the staff in Louisville. Numerous mistakes were made (eg, prescriptions not called in that were highly time sensitive, 'lost' labs) and erroneous information was often provided. The party line for the former was 'human error' with no apology or explanation. For the amount of money we paid, this is unacceptable for CCRM let alone any doctors office. I dreaded going in to the Louisville location and often drove the 1 hr to Lone Tree to avoid the uncomfortable interactions I had with the staff who frequently seemed annoyed, rushed and were v patronizing. If we had to take further steps we were considering other clinics bc of these frequent challenges that made one feel unsafe and distrusting. read more

They didn't even give me a chance to have them retested somewhere else. 10 embryos that I will never be able recreate as I'm so much older now. One or two might have been normal :-( So sad. I should have listened to my acupuncturist! Also I heard that their numbers are fudged. because if you do let's say 5 cycles after which you test all embryos In a single batch, and if they all come back abnormal, they only report one failed cycle instead of 5. So their success rates are waaaaaay inflated. read more

CCRM has excellent doctors, care givers and most importantly embryologists, but the patient experience (especially on cost) is miserable. They are transnational, presumptive and arrogant. If you don't care about cost and have plenty of cash on hand CCRM is a great choice. If you will be disappointed by arbitrary and excessive "coordination fees", a woefully incompetent patient finance department, and an organization geared toward maximizing revenue, you should look elsewhere. read more

Some complain that he doesn't have a great bedside manner. I disagree. He has never been anything than nice. He does tell it like it is but I appreciate that honesty. Some might say CCRM is too expensive. Don't get me wrong paying for IVF was a huge burden at the time but it seems like nothing now that I am blessed with my children. Sometimes you do get what you pay for. I gave 4 stars instead of 5 for two reasons: 1. The business office was difficult to work with at the time. Everyone was very nice but I was confused about payments and my husband had to call them constantly to keep them accountable. 2. My nurse with my first transfer (successful) was not my favorite and wasn't a great communicator. But, the nurse I had when I came back for second child was incredible! read more

Agree wholeheartedly with previous posts: CCRM-Colorado does not know how to treat patients well. For more than 35K a pop, they should, at minimum, work to remember they are dealing with human beings, not cattle. I could echo, almost word for word, a previous poster's experience: I was strongly urged to fill out paperwork online and told my appointment would be canceled if they didn't have it 2 weeks before the appointment. I filled everything out in detail, medical records were faxed ahead of time - all deadlines met. Why the urgency, I don't know - because the doctor had no idea who were, hadn't read any of my medical records, didn't know my history and why we needed IVF. There were mistakes on our first-day work-up and they were upsetting, but I overlooked them figuring it was a rare blip for such a prestigious clinic. But when we returned home, the blips continued and just got bigger. I never heard from anyone. Not a peep. I used the patient portal, no response. I left voice mail messages for my nurse, no response. All of that was early 2015. It's now fall and no cycle has begun due to repeated errors from our assigned nurse. Lost messages on the patient portal, or our nurse saying she never got a message or saying my voice mail message got "lost" and she was only stumbling on it a month after I left it (these sort of incidents happened repeatedly). I had medical records sent over 3 separate times - and each time, she told me she didn't get anything, citing my primary clinic and hospital staff "must not know how to send a fax". After the 2nd time this happened, I personally made copies of all the records and snail-mailed them to her in addition to having them faxed a 3rd time. It took nearly 3 weeks to get hold of her, only to have her say, again, that she didn't get them. So, desperate for a baby and getting older by the day, we haven't been able to start IVF because this nurse can't keep her papers organized and doesn't return calls. You cannot imagine the rage. So, I've had enough. I know their statistics are amazing and I really, really would LOVE the peace of mind of working with the best lab in the country, but being forced to wait 7 months to begin IVF because of staff error...ridiculous. read more

This place is horrible. My first experience involved them losing my file and one person telling me I was not pregnant while another person called me and said they didn't have my file. I took my own test and it said positive, but later found out that my blood test proved negative. I call and leave messages with questions and they don't call me back. When I do get someone, they don't seem intelligent or caring enough and make me feel like my questions are stupid. NOT a big fan of this expensive facility. I think I'll let nature take its course and save my money. read more

The only reason why i would give this 2 stars because the office staff, lady that draw my blood was nice. Dr. Kondrapalli was uncaring, motivating and just awful to work with. 20K and 2 unsuccessful IUI later got pregnant at another facility right away. They just did the text book steps without looking at me like an actual person. read more

CCRM is amazing! Dr Schoolcraft and the team of doctors there are top notch. The lab is beyond exceptional. The accounting/billing staff are on top of things and answer all your questions. I'd have to say I did have some issues with a couple of the nurses. If this is your first round of IVF I suggest teaming up with someone that has been through it before so they can hold you hand through it. This is so ridiculous to rate a fertility clinic! Do NOT chose your fertility clinic based on yelp!!!! Talk to different doctors, get success rates, learn about the process... I sent an inquiry for an appointment twice in the last 2-3 weeks yet have not heard a single thing back from them. No email, no phone call. When dealing with infertility treatment, communication is SO important regarding things like test results, when you're ovulating, etc. and if they can't even return a simple inquiry into an appointment, what makes me think they will stay in touch regarding the more important things as well? Dr Schoolcraft dominates the industry! If you have zero chance to get pregnant, he can make something happen. I went to seven specialist, they all said they could do nothing, spent a fortune. Went to Schoolcraft, he did a few test and I got pregnant. Don't see ANY other doc for anything ! Save your money and go see him or you will be 80 by the time you get answers? He has top of the line technology and his research buries the field. Even horrible PMS, he will lead you in the right direction... read more

DO NOT believe the hype about this place! Our embryo didn't even survive thaw at CCRM. We had gone to CCRM because we had a number of cycles at our local clinic (and had success), but wanted to see if we can get better results while TTC our next child. We've had several fresh IVF cycles and 2 FETs at local clinics in Texas and Connecticut (because we had moved), both of which gave us better results, with better quality embryos and more embryos, and both FETs were successful. We had the worst results ever when we were at CCRM. Our embryo was worse quality and died during thaw at CCRM, that has never happened during our other 2 FETs at other clinics (both led to pregnancy). Also, they only care about your money, and everyone was so difficult to deal with. A phone call to the doctor costs $200, and the nurses did not answer my question, forcing me to call the doctor and pay the fee for simple questions. The business department straight up lied about the insurance claim process. They said they checked with my insurance and that it was covered, but we had to pay $26,000 out-of-pocket up front because it was out of network (we do have out-of-network benefits), and our insurance will reimburse the rest later. The insurance didn't pay us, because the CCRM doctors are actually in network, and insurance paid CCRM directly and won't pay the patients (even though we had already paid CCRM). According to our policy, we shouldn't have paid for the services up front, so insurance couldn't pay us back. CCRM didn't reimburse us the amount that they owe us. So don't believe them at the business meeting, they are only out to get your money, they got mine and the insurance's payments (doubled)! That's insurance fraud! So save yourself the time, money and a lot of aggravation, don't bother with CCRM. read more

Dr. Kondapalli is wonderful and has the best bedside manner, which is very important when going through the process. The IVF journey is not an easy one and there are many programs that claim to have the outcomes and approaches that CCRM does- but none can compare. Highly recommend. CCRM is great! The whole staff from top to bottom is fantastic. We worked with Dr. Surrey and his team. Our nurses, Becca and Amy, were responsive, positive and very knowledgeable. The ultrasound sonographers were great as well. We never had to wait for more than a 1/2 day to get responses to our questions and you can tell that the whole team is invested in your success. Dr. Surrey spoke to us personally on many occasions and was never "too busy" or "too important" to talk to us. I highly recommend CCRM! the only "complaint" I have is the cost of the lab work (which we had to have performed on multiple occasions). On our most recent visit we paid $800 for lab work that could have been performed at home for approx. $100. When I inquired as to why the cost was so high, I was told that it was because of the certifications/standards of the CCRM lab. I think that there has to be a better solution to such expensive lab work though. However, as far as customer service and care you can't get any better than CCRM and I would highly Dr. Surrey and his team! they definitely are the "best of the best." read more

First, let me say Dr. Schoolcraft was very knowledgeable and professional. He answered all of the questions I had and I felt I had adequate time with him. In addition, my assigned nurse Michelle was excellent. She was not only very knowledgeable and capable, but incredibly compassionate, kind and personable. The main problems with CCRM were with the organization of the office and systems, and the front desk employees. The front desk people were annoyed and short with people at best, and at times just surly and rude. The patient portal is a mess. There's a long set of forms for you and your partner to fill out at the beginning, with no way to stop in the middle or you lose the whole thing. When my husband finished his, he got a notice that his information and updates were going to be emailed to someone else at another email address with a similar, but not even mistakable name (think, Tom Smith instead of John Smith). When we told staff about it, they passed the buck and no one seemed to care, nothing happened. I would occasionally get messages from my nurse through the portal, but all functionality to reply to a message or create a message had been disabled. As other reviewers have stated, there's a lab and a medical office in the same building. During my visits, the center desk directing people to either and providing general information was usually unoccupied. I had 3 appointments scheduled in one day for early diagnostics, and after the first 2 I was seated in the lab waiting area. Apparently the third procedure was on the other side of the clinic, which I had no way of knowing, and no one checked the other waiting area until I went to the other side 45 minutes after my appointment time. If you're going through IVF or IUI, one element is a lot of prescriptions, called in by staff to the pharmacy. This process was shaky at best. Twice I was told by someone they were calling in the prescription "now", for me to go to the pharmacy and wait at the counter to find out that "now" meant sometime this afternoon... Once they called in to the wrong pharmacy, and when I realized at 4 PM that it wasn't at my pharmacy, they had already stopped answering phones for the day. The outgoing message and menu tree was almost funny in its rudeness, describing how phones would not be answered after 4:30 (in reality it was more like 4:00), after-hours messages would not be returned, and to leave a very, VERY brief message. The one time I had to use the after-hours line, that voicemail emphasized the $250 penalty for non-emergency calls. When my message was returned, The on-call nurse was rude and terse, offering no help but to ask why I hadn't told of my pains the day before (I hadn't been in pain yet). The outgoing voicemail appears to have since been changed but it's hard to imagine the attitude has. Did I mention the front office staff was rude? I got an infection after one procedure and was treated rudely by the after-hours nurse, then discouraged from going to the ER the next day and asked to come in to their office instead. I was made to wait in pain in the waiting area for 20-30 minutes, and overheard the staff carping to each other about my impatience (I was in too much pain to sit). The billing department is courteous enough, but be careful: there's a form up front that they have you sign to keep your credit card on file and charge you for anything insurance doesn't cover. Be sure to double-check their statements for accuracy before you get charged. read more

We went to CCRM because of their supposed success rate in infertility. We have been battling infertility for 10years, and have some experience with different centers. With CCRM we are still in the beginning (still doing the "initial work-up"). So my review is not biased by success or lack thereof. The medical expertise may be good, but they did not really add anything exceptional in terms of lab tests or possibilities to what we already knew from other centers. I am disappointed with how badly this place is organized. Different parts of the team do not seem to communicate (lab - business office - nurses). Also, they do not seem to have discovered digitalized archiving: everything is in paper. We were handed 2 big folders full of papers. We are traveling for our work a lot, and we actually have to schlepp these folders with us wherever we go! (because there is no way to access the information online). It is near to impossible to reach the right person (or any person) in less than 15 minutes - regardless of which prompt you pick. The nurses are either terribly overworked - or do not like their workplace, and let it out on patients. They are extremely unfriendly over the phone (and in person). You cannot send your documents or test results via e-mail. (This is the 21st century!). You are treated like the trouble child in 3rd grade, and they are extremely inflexible - the standard answer is always NO (it is like they are not even trying). Infertility is a difficult process to begin with. Difficult to go through, and difficult to understand. CCRM is not making it easier for sure. For paying out of pocket, an overall friendlier, more efficient, and above all patient oriented system is what we expected. We have not decided if we want to go through with CCRM. Other programs with also excellent reputation are just so much friendlier. Which is, to us anyways, important. read more

CCRM has a great reputation for infertility success. However, their business center is horrible!! If they did not have such a great reputation, I would go elsewhere because of their business center. When I was going to CCRM at the Lone Tree office for iui, they kept telling me my insurance wouldn't cover any of it & were charging me the full price. Come to find out my insurance was covering it. Thanks to the Rose office for trying. They never seem to answer their phone or return phone calls. If you have insurance, even if you think it won't cover it for iui, make them run it through your insurance. read more

Spent 8 years trying to have a baby. Our problem came down to a genetic issue when our chromosomes combined. Needless to say the Embryology lab was crucial at CCRM to our success using ivf. My daughter is such a blessing and we owe it to Dr Gustafson and the team at CCRM. You get what you pay for, and these guys and gals are the BEST! read more

Go elsewhere. This place only cares about making money off your hopes and dreams. They could care less about patient care and patient coordination. You will only speak to a Dr once, maybe twice, and will have different doctors at each step of the process. The staff care is completely uncoordinated. I have been repeatedly told wrong information, including about tests I need (resulting in me having tests redone at additional expense). I have spent tens of thousands of dollars more than what I was told (and I have been a text-book perfect case, with no complications or issues. ) They have far more patients than they can adequately care for. The process is stressful enough without the doctor adding to it. Do yourself a favor and find a clinic that cares about its patients read more
