Espresso 22 is where it's at ya'll. My daughter introduced this drink to me on a trip and I crave it all the time now. It's espresso topped with half and half and is utterly delicous. You can customize it any way you like (yes, I've become one of "those" people) and I always get it with an extra shot of esspresso, no sugar and sugar free caramel flavor. YUM. You will not be tired after this drink, trust. Normally I'm a drive thru type of gal but I went in this morning for some gifts and toe-tapping New Orleans music was playing. There was ample seating and a cozy atomosphere. I had to get to work, so I couldn't linger but I really wanted to. I have been stopping here on my way to work multiple times a week for the past two months. I usually get excellent service... today however, I was in desperate need of a peppermint white chocolate cappuccino with and extra shot of espresso (it was already a not so great morning) but this usually cheers me up and puts a smile on my face. Not this morning... I get my cup and it has no coaster around it and the cup is pipping hot. So I hurry to put it down and THEN the young man in the drive thru hands me a coaster.... Mind you...I paid over $6 for this drink only to find out that (AFTER I drove away and got to work) it was 3/4 filled with FOAM!!!!!! Are you guys serious?! CC's Coffee House - a foamy cup of coffee - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Lafayette, Louisiana

CC's Coffee House was a pleasant surprise (and highly needed) upon passing through Lafayette en route to Alexandria on a late Thursday night. The venue is comforting within the interior, as well as pretty decent with exterior seating. The customer service was absolutely excellent with its friendly baristas during a late evening (just before 9 PM). No complaints whatsoever. The coffee house seems to have its expected assortment of snacks. The expresso servings (I get multiple shots) were of reasonable serving size and had decent taste. It did the job while heading out to I-49 North. CC's Coffee House also has a drive-thru, yet since its traffic lets out into a busy shopping parking lot (there was a huge muscle car rally on this night), you'll need to take caution making your way back onto Ambassador Caffery Parkway (folks drive quite fast & furious). This venue is now on my bookmarks of must-stop places whenever heading toward Alexandria or Baton Rouge. read more

I have increased my patronage of this location recently. I started drinking unsweetened cappuccinos at some point and this is my go to spot for them. The staff here is great, the coffee is delicious and it's easy to get into and out of even during the lunch rush. The baked goods are pretty good too. I love the chocolate chunk cookies and the blueberry muffins. I prefer the regular coffee here to places like Starbucks. I find Starbucks Coffee tastes burnt, as in they over roast their beans, not they leave it on the burner too long. If you've never tried Community give them a shot. read more

I used to look forward to going to this coffee house, however the past 5 months I avoid it. The friendly service is almost non-existent and the seem to have trouble with keeping staple products. Who runs out products by 8 am. Every time I visit. It has now become a joke between coworkers if they will be out of product. read more

The coffee is great, the service is great, and they keep the place clean. This is a great place to get some work done away from the office when you need a change of scenery. Free wifi that is relatively fast most of the time. Outdoor seating is nice... except when the smokers are out there. read more

I've only been here once. The inside was spacious with a lot of seating options, the employee that took my order was very polite, and restroom was very clean. The only downside was the wait for my drink. The barista making drinks made a drive-thru order before mine, even though I ordered first. It wasn't a big deal, though, because everything else was really good. To top it all off, my coffee was delicious. If I lived near this location, I would probably be a regular customer. read more

Had coffee yesterday morning with a friend. When I went to fix my coffee I notced the counter hadn't been wiped down, no, they were not busy no one was in there but us and one other. We drank our coffee while the worker came out from behind the counter to chat with the woman there. Never once wiped down the counter or tables that had dirty dishes on them. I love CC's Coffee, let me just start by saying that. It's this location that's not very good. The service is friendly, and the customer service is ok, socially, but every time I get drinks here, they do it incorrectly, forget to add an ingredient, and Im stuck with a sub-par product that many times I pay well over 10 dollars for. Today, I ordered two of their new drink, the espresso 22. Neither was filled very well, as my straw kept getting stuck in the ice, and I discovered neither one had any sweetener in them. I was already home by that time, and it was too much of an inconvenience to call and ask for a them to make it correctly, get in my car and drive back to get it. And believe me when I say, I've done that exact thing with this location twice. Once, when I ordered a breakfast muffin (they forgot to put the MEAT in it) and another time with their iced coffee (no flavoring). I went to CC's to have a place to finish up a few assignment. However, the staff at that time was extremely loud! They talked, joked, and sung so loudly that I had a headache when I left. There were several other customers in there, so I turned and asked the lady sitting beside me if they were loud or was I being sensitive. She smiled and said that she is use to being in loud places so she had no problem tuning them out, but they were a rowdy bunch. I did not ask them to quiten down, because there should have been someone of authority on shift with them who knows better! I understand having fun at work, but there's a time and place for being loud and rowdy. However, a place where students and other patrons are trying to concentrate is not one of them. read more
