My sister and I stopped in on our way from Charleston to Houston with our cousin's two cats. We needed to charge our phones (and we're desperate for coffee), so we left the highway and found this Starbucks. The cats were allowed to come in with us (in their carriers), so we all got a break from the car. Everyone was very nice and welcoming. It wasn't too crowded, so the kitties didn't get stressed. It was the perfect, calm environment for us to recharge and rest. read more

As a Starbucks Shift Supervisor from another state, I am so disappointed that I feel the need to give this review. However, this is by far the worst Starbucks I have ever been to. The only good thing about the experience was how friendly Miles was at the DT. My mom and I ordered the vanilla sweet cream nitro cold brew, and not only did the sweet cream taste wrong, but the nitro had a rancid, almost bacterial taste to it. I definitely know what underbrewed and what old nitro tastes like, and this was far worse than either. I parked and went inside to ask for different drinks, and I was met with such a bad attitude from a guy who I can only assume was the SSV because the other partners (Miles and a girl) seemed to differ to him when I walked in. I explained to him what was wrong, and even offered an, "I'm a fellow partner so it's not a big deal, I just think something is wrong with your nitro." No smile, no apology, no customer service or peer friendliness AT all. I ordered two different drinks to replace the nitros, and when I got them to the car, the blonde vanilla latte for my mom had no vanilla in it, and the iced coffee I had tasted at least a day old. Overall, I was pretty disgusted with the atmosphere and experience here. I'm an out-of-towner so thankfully I won't ever have to go back there, but as a fellow partner I feel the need to be honest. read more

I went yesterday before work and they made my drink wrong I ordered a shaken espresso with cold foam and caramel drizzle and it was dark brown they didn't put the drizzle and the cold foam was not sweet it must've just been heavy cream. I had to be at work in 5 minutes after that for 13 hours with no break so I had no time to go back so I called this morning to see if they could just remake it today since I had to through it out. They said they would remake it on the phone and they were sweet about it but when I went back in to get it it wasn't on my account because the guy yesterday didn't scan it and the girl at the register was like well I'm gonna have to charge you for it if it's not on your account as if I was lying about getting it and I explained to her that I held my phone up to scan it but he didn't scan it and I didn't notice then she proceeded to raise her voice saying I'm gonna have to pay for it. And then finally after arguing with me with the already remade drink in her hand she's like well I can look in the system I guess. And she found it and finally gave it to me after making me cry because I already felt terrible about going back for it. This is the third time the workers at this Starbucks have made me cry I worked at the canes next door for three years and everyone who worked there agreed their attitude was consistently underwhelming even tho we were the most loyal customers who were also service workers that understood them. I just genuinely wish management cared more over there and I wish things would change. read more

I visited this Starbucks location twice. Each time the music was too loud and made talking to the staff extremely difficult. The second time I informed the cashier and she looked right at me and did not even give a reply. I have worked in the food industry and customer service was the priority. This location did. VERY nice and sweet staff. Tables are dirty from costumers not cleaning up after themselves but the whole place overall is decently clean. Restrooms are clean. There is a drive thru as well. They got me and my family's order all CORRECT and made our drinks swiftly!! read more

I've bought from this Starbucks for a few years now. I've always been greeted with a helpful smile and not once did they get my order wrong. The drive thru is very speedy, even in long lines during the holidays. They have a nice selection of coffees and teas for purchase inside, and everything is very clean. read more

Pretty consistent experience. Using gold card or the app, I appreciate unlimited refills. Newer food selections really help me to stay here for a while to work on computer. It isn't the homeliest café, few are these days, but this is the most comfortable of all the Starbucks in the area, and is way more convenient than the other locations over on the houston side of Lafayette (Ambassador Caffery Pkwy area), which helps with convenience and it tends to have a variety of people stopping in, sometimes a little dominated by sales people and others conducting get to know you pre-interviews. Recently redecorated in 2013/14 to improve seating capacity. I always ask for plateware and real beverage vessels when dining in. They have mugs which leads to a more presentable espresso. Haven't received glassware for cold drinks. Would like to see that. I'd also like to see the fruit and cheese trays available in other markets. read more

This Starbucks location is very similar to ones you've visited throughout the country. Clean, friendly staff, and they have wifi. Bathrooms are also clean - which is not always the case at other locations. This one is tucked between a bank and a small strip mall-esq crowded area. Best to enter on Kaliste Saloom road and travel back to the shop and exit on the other side. read more
