They make you sign the contract on a rush and after you pay 5k+ they tell your their rules. my daughter was o ln the lower level team and to be honest I think the director doesn't even care about those teams just the top teams. 13 girls for one team,two inexperienced twenty year old coaches,favoritism, when the team was loosing coaches were just sitting on the bench,some of the players were undisciplined and they didn't do anything to fix the problem and curiously the girls with Hispanic last name were the ones left behind sometimes they didn't even get to play a minute on a tournament day. My advice is if your daughter is a top player this club is probably the place to be but if you want your daughter to develop and improve you should use that amount for strength and conditioning and skills trainings she'll learn more doing that or take her to another club. My daughter was very exited entering at this club and she ended up not wanting to participate on the last tournament (450 dollars extra) which wasn't covered by the initial amount. I reached out to the director and she didn't take the time to have a meeting because she was "busy" traveling with a team instead she sent the same two coaches to talk to me and nothing changed.

This investment in building up players from a young age shows a commitment to building strong players over the long-haul...and a true love for the sport. I don't know anyone in this club...and I don't kiss up. We simply aren't at the level where that would be helpful. Despite that, every single coach we have had has been impeccably skilled and developmentally on-point. This is coming from a 20+ year educator who has also been a varsity coach. Every coach here has honored my daughter as a person and attempted to cultivate her unrealized potential. She LOVES Rev. In sum, we drive 60+ minutes, each way, DURING RUSH HOUR, to participate in what Rev has to offer. We have tried clubs closer to home. The truth is that the quality of coaching and instruction at Rev is above-and-beyond anything else. Period. The decor in Jerseys is great for the baseball and sports person with a few tvs showing national games of baseball or football. There is typically a gate entrance fee on tournament days of $5/pp and they do not allow outside alcohol to be brought in. This is a popular venue for the valleys baseball travel teams catering to ages 10-14 as well as adult softball or volleyball.

The ASC is one of the cleanest, well kept facilities I've ever played in. Very simple, two fields inside, one outside (still indoor style). I don't really care to play on the outdoor field however, due to the fact that the walls are lower, and the netting doesn't surround the entire field, so the ball goes out of play alot and sometimes you have to chase it pretty far. The indoor and outdoor nets in the goals could stand for a bit of patching up as well, as the ball is constantly going right through them. I'm also not a big fan of the fact that on top of the team fee (which is average, not overly pricey), you are forced to pay a $50 annual membership fee AND each team has to pay the refs $10 before each game! This is the first facility I've played in that didn't pay their own referees; instead they rely on the teams (who've already forked out quite a bit of money to be there in the first place) to pay them. Those few complaints aside, I love the game, and the fact that I drive from downtown Phoenix to play here should make it pretty obvious that it's worth it to me!

Players who can barely juggle the ball 10 times end up facing opponents who can pull off an Elastico or a Rainbow Flick with ease. As a result, scores like 15-0 are not surprising here. This mismatch isn't just no fun for beginners -- it's also unsafe. Almost any collision with a higher level player risks injuring a beginner. Teams that win their league are rarely moved up to the higher league, as would be expected. Most refs here don't seem to know the rules; I've seen a ref show a red card and still keep the player on the field because "he's the goalkeeper." Many refs treat their job as simply calling outs and goals, while overlooking as many dangerous fouls as possible. Refs are paid by the players, but they seem to have little incentive to actually protect them. Sportsmanship varies wildly by team. Some are respectful and play with good etiquette, while others are the opposite. Brutal and careless fouls during the last few minutes of a match, in non decisive situations when the score is something like 10-0, are culturally acceptable here. Many higher league players who happen to play in the Rec league also show open arrogance and contempt toward true recreational level opponents in that league. There's also a bizarre "tradition" at this facility: when a team builds a huge lead, they'll often leave their own goal empty and get their goalkeeper to try to score, just to flaunt their dominance and taunt the other team. The one genuinely good thing about this place is the quality of the fields, but that's where the good things end.

This club expanded past disappointment to downright incompetent and offensive. Rather than doing…read moreany of the things they proclaim on their website to build up and inspire a beginning player, the clear cut nepotism, favoritism and unprofessional coaching led to my daughter being demoralized, marginalized and feeling really bad about herself. During the post season after being slaughtered all six games on Sunday, the coaches didn't change their strategy, replace utterly ineffective rotations, instead they demanded that the Parents "hide" the scores from the girls. What? Huh? Really? They lost and lost every day with no changes to strategy,. It was heartbreaking watching half of the girls always benched told they could only play when they were winning while the others on the court desperately trying to execute terrible rotations leaving half the court wide open blaming themselves. The coaches buried in their devices and looking like they were still in their jammies did nothing. They say in their propaganda website " Everything we do is built around our core values--integrity, grit, excellence, responsibility, and courage. These values guide how we train, how we communicate, and how we hold each other accountable." Accountability? How does hiding the scores during games accomplish any of that? On the 4th day of the tournament, I had the temerity to have the scoreboard on my personal cell phone. Mommy of the Coaches, yes not a player's parent, marched across the court and demanded that I take a scoreboard app off my phone. When I calmly refused, she began bullying, demeaning and threatening me. I never raised my voice or got out of my chair. At no time during the entire 4 days did I ever shout, act out or even complain to anyone. She marched to her husband, director of AZ Sky and Daddy of the coaches who also marched over and demanded the same, when I again politely refused, he too threatened to have me removed. Holding up the next game he headed to the Ref and Mommy began SCREAMING in front of hundreds of people including my then terrified 12 year old daughter. "You're Going to be Removed!" several times. After going to officials, of course I was not removed. Mommy then began a campaign with the parents that led to me being ostracized, "shoved" "bumped" and blocked from taking pictures of my kid with the team. The final truly disturbing event was one of the coaches in a seething, veiled "compliment" used my daughter to throw shade my way. Hey, insult me all you want but don't use my child to do it. That is disgusting behavior. Ownership never responded to my repeated requests for a meeting. After spending close to $5,000 their utter lack of professionalism and mistreatment of clients is really pathetic. Read their responses to this and other reviews. Prepare yourself for gaslighting and them to blame you and your child for their poor behavior. Choose another club, this one has lost it's way.

Families are informed of the total cost only about two weeks before tryouts, but once the season begins, additional unexpected expenses quickly pile up--hotels, travel, out-of-area tournaments, and more. Be prepared to keep paying because not everything is disclosed upfront. Despite investing nearly $7,000, our daughter was repeatedly left out of rotations while every other player received playing time. At tournaments, she was either benched for entire sets or given only a few points to play--even after scoring. We did not pay this kind of money for our daughter to sit on the sidelines and receive little to no development in practice. There was no explanation, no feedback, and no real effort to improve her skills. As one of the tallest players on the team with clear potential, she should have received coaching to refine her game, but instead, she was ignored. Coach Jordyn provided minimal instruction, showed no investment in her growth, and lacked the energy and engagement expected at the club level. It became clear that unless a player was already highly skilled, they were not a priority. If you are not among the top players at Sky, you will likely be placed on a team just so the club can collect more money, and you won't have a strong coach. The best coaches are assigned to the higher-level teams, while developing players are left with less experienced or disengaged coaches. Our coach was noticeably out of shape, did not motivate the girls, and failed to provide useful feedback for improvement. Mistakes in practice were overlooked, and there was no emphasis on player development. After back-to-back experiences of unfair treatment, I received a text from Dennis, the Operations Manager, questioning why we left a tournament early. I responded respectfully, outlining our concerns, but his response was silence. There was no follow-up, no acknowledgment, and no effort to address the situation. Later, I emailed the club's owners, Jeff and Julia, detailing everything that had happened. A full week passed with no response. When I followed up with a text, Dennis simply said that Jeff had received my email and "believed" he would respond. That was the last communication I received. No call, no email, no apology--just complete indifference. The scheduling was also unreasonable, with late-night practices (7:30PM - 9:45PM on a school night) and excessive travel commitments that were poorly communicated. Families were caught off guard by last-minute expenses, including a nearly $1,000 hotel charge right before Christmas. Sky does not disclose the true cost of participation early enough, leaving parents financially unprepared. If you're considering Sky, think twice. And if you're thinking about putting your daughter on Coach Jordyn's team--don't. The lack of fairness, transparency, and accountability made this experience one we deeply regret. We expected quality coaching, communication, and player development, but instead, we got an organization that prioritizes profit over its athletes.
