This club is well organized to grab your money. We had a bad experience firs of all my daughter wasn't the best or worst on the team but the two coaches failed to develop not only my daughter but some of the girls on the team. They make you sign the contract on a rush and after you pay 5k+ they tell your their rules. my daughter was o ln the lower level team and to be honest I think the director doesn't even care about those teams just the top teams. 13 girls for one team,two inexperienced twenty year old coaches,favoritism, when the team was loosing coaches were just sitting on the bench,some of the players were undisciplined and they didn't do anything to fix the problem and curiously the girls with Hispanic last name were the ones left behind sometimes they didn't even get to play a minute on a tournament day. My advice is if your daughter is a top player this club is probably the place to be but if you want your daughter to develop and improve you should use that amount for strength and conditioning and skills trainings she'll learn more doing that or take her to another club. My daughter was very exited entering at this club and she ended up not wanting to participate on the last tournament (450 dollars extra) which wasn't covered by the initial amount. I reached out to the director and she didn't take the time to have a meeting because she was "busy" traveling with a team instead she sent the same two coaches to talk to me and nothing changed. read more

We LOVE Rev!!! This club went WAY out of its way to begin working with my daughter when she was only 6. Now she's 10, and the skills she's developed over the years have built her into a player comfortable playing with girls in 7th/8th grade. This investment in building up players from a young age shows a commitment to building strong players over the long-haul...and a true love for the sport. I don't know anyone in this club...and I don't kiss up. We simply aren't at the level where that would be helpful. Despite that, every single coach we have had has been impeccably skilled and developmentally on-point. This is coming from a 20+ year educator who has also been a varsity coach. Every coach here has honored my daughter as a person and attempted to cultivate her unrealized potential. She LOVES Rev. In sum, we drive 60+ minutes, each way, DURING RUSH HOUR, to participate in what Rev has to offer. We have tried clubs closer to home. The truth is that the quality of coaching and instruction at Rev is above-and-beyond anything else. Period. Additionally, I would drive 2 hours each way to avail my daughter of the positive peer culture and sense of 'team' cultivated by Rev. This place is the REAL DEAL. read more

Make sure you play the PC kiss up game.. it's amazing how far it will get your daughter.

My daughter has been playing Club volleyball for several years. Revolution felt like a really good fit for us at the beginning... The Director is a former college volleyball player so she knows the sport extremely well. After the team's first game, we realized we were in for a long season. The coaches my daughter had were so negative when the girls did not win, and the next 2 hour long practice was punishment if they didn't do well. Young teenagers were pushed so hard, several would vomit and cry, even quit the team. What Club Directors and Coaches fail to remember is that parents pay a lot of money for this... this is NOT college volleyball where they are paying for your education or travel. We pay them to develop and train our kids so they can play at a college level if desired. I hope more people post reviews...AZ does not hold volleyball clubs accountable and there is nowhere to leave reviews or complaints. And once you are on a club team in AZ, you are locked in for a full year and cannot stop payments or go to another club if the club does not do their part. For $500+ a month, I don't know how some of these clubs are getting away with this! read more

I could not disagree more with Jennifer's review below. My daughter has been playing club volleyball at Revolution for four years now. Yes, the coaches are passionate. Yes, the club wants its teams to be among the best in Arizona. Yes, the coaches push the girls to do and be the best players they can be -- both on and off the court. But they do all of that while emphasizing the importance of teamwork, personal growth, responsibility, accountability, and love for the game. This club, like a few other competitive clubs in town, prepares its players to play competitive volleyball in high school and college. If your daughter doesn't want all of the above experience, then look for a different club or a rec league. But if she wants to be the best volleyball player she can be, while growing into a responsible and caring young woman, then Revolution is a club you should seriously consider. Finally, I would also note for future parents of volleygirls out there that the club has several teams at most age levels -- and while they all strive to be competitive, the "black" and "green" teams are more about teaching fundamentals and teamwork. I can't imagine any of these teams pushing the girls the way it is described below. I've watched many of their practices and my daughter started at REV on one of those teams as 4 years ago. read more
