First off I would like to complement every staff member that we came in contact with. They truly go above and beyond to be friendly, helpful and cheerful! They deserve 5 stars! Now, let me put this bit of advice right here; Try the Ice-Cream! This KOA sells Farr's Ice Cream and it is delicious! As for the park itself, it's a bit dated and there is no uniformity. The spaces offer various types of gravel and some have grass, (see photos) Some spaces have mature trees that offer shade. The new section of the park has no protection and you're exposed to the blazing sun all day. If you want shade request, a site in the old section. Sites are level for the most part and there is no concern about space. You can let your awning out without being concerned about hitting your neighbors RV. The pool is a good size and is kept clean. There is road noise but we ran our fan and air most of the night. On a side note I'd like to say that there are many great food options in this town, use Yelp as your guide.

Sad to say the transition to rjourney has not been kind to this formerly packed & pristine campground. We have stayed here 4 times over the course of 7 years & we always looked forward to our nights here. It was certainly better as a koa. Last night there were only about 35 trailers in the large park, yet they put us right up front where the traffic going by is very loud and distracting. I would highly recommend putting the permanent residents in a separate section from the temporary guests.

It doesn't smell Smokey but the air quality is bad.
    Hmmmmm O.

Nice and clean. Friendly office staff. Store has some nice items. Sites are easy to get in and out of but we do have a pull through. Disappointed with the hazy air because of the CA fires but whatcha gonna do.

Yes this is a restroom and shower area in a campground.. Mens side

This has been a great campground to stay in we arrived late do to vehicle problems, we found our spot to be reserved as promised and even though the office was closed when we arrived they had information for us waiting at the self check in booth. Our spot was nice we had a large camp trailer and the spot was clean and large with easy to use hook ups. we will most definetly be coming back in the future.

Dont stay here unless you like the sound of barking dogs. All day. Multiple dogs bark and they do nothing about it.

My surge protector would shut down after detecting unsafe or no proper ground connection. I spoke with the owner, Steve, about the electrical problem and the sad thing is he is aware of the issue and continues to assign guests here. I do not know why you would do this from a business standpoint considering the liability implications. Steve said his past customers with surge protectors were unable to hook up here as well, so he suggested I hook up without a surge protector because an electrician told him it looked good. After informing Steve I would absolutely not hook up without a surge protector he said I could move to another spot. Due to the first spot I was in being extremely unleveled I asked Steve which spot was most level. He pointed out a spot he believed to be more level than others. I pulled into that spot and found it to be off level by several inches in both slope and grade. This was not a relaxing or enjoyable stay. There are several long term unsightly trailers in the sites, one of which I had to track down the owner when I arrived because his truck was parked blocking the site I was assigned. I woke up to sprinklers spraying the side of my RV in the middle of the night. A simple adjustment would fix this issue, but I would not expect that to happen due to the electrical, lack of level sites and poor property maintenance issues with this location. There is also a raggedy trailer park next door, with it's own pile of special issues. The trailer park appears to be directly connected to this RV park. I would not recommend staying here and I would have been more comfortable in a Walmart parking lot.

The noise was unbearable and started early in the morning, and the area was so torn up that the grass was dead--terrible for our dogs and impossible to enjoy being outside. Management finally agreed to move us, but the new site was even worse. Someone had dumped their black tank directly on the grass, leaving raw sewage sitting there. Completely unacceptable. We had to call yet again and be moved a second time just to find a site that was usable. Instead of a relaxing weekend and enjoying the outdoor activities that Cedar City offers, we spent our time packing up, moving, and dealing with problems that should never happen at a campground that claims to be maintained. Between the constant construction, sewage mess, and poor management, this place is absolutely not worth your time or money. We won't be back, and I strongly recommend you look elsewhere if you're hoping for a peaceful and sanitary stay. If I could give zero stars, I would.

We were there a month. As the month went by, it seemed to get better as the place was mowed, although not edged. If you're going to stay here, the area on the north side of the park is fine and does not have the older full time units. The pool water was always clean and nice, but cold for us. The park is in a great location, although you do hear traffic and sirens from the main st. and hospital nearby. They have great ice cream in the office with very large portions, and a trailer out front with very good coffee like a Starbucks. We had issues with the billing (being wrongly charged extra night, that got fixed after help from manager). When you stay a month, you get a break on the nightly amount but are charged for electricity and sewer. They charge to use credit card and charge to read the meter. I was charged almost twice the amount for electricity than I have been charged elsewhere. Hard to argue with since they read the meter. Because we were in the middle of month and ran a few days into the next month, we were charged another month for sewer. Luckily, RJourney 800 number removed that from our billing. The town of Cedar City was great. We went to several events in the town and loved everything about the town. Bottom line we would love to visit Cedar City again, just not there.

AND two, THERE IS NO STORE.... no toilet paper or toilet tabs for sale...or last minute food stuffs... Women's restroom had ONE operational toilet and never once was the toilet paper or seat covers re-stocked. I ended up leaving a roll of toilet paper from my own RV stash! The picnic table at our site was absolutely right next to the sewage line of our neighbors...needless to say, we never got to use the unmovable picnic table at all during our stay! Think about that for a second; they laid a cement pad for the picnic table RIGHT NEXT TO the sewer line... WHY? That's disgusting and very poor planning. This is the THIRD time we've stayed here. Thought they would get better, but they've only gotten worse. I echo the sentiments of most of the comments on here and we will NEVER stay here again. This little place could be a gold mine if only it were managed properly. * We departed Monday morning around 9 am and that maggot filled poop trash can was still overflowing!!
