Jodi came out a few days later and measured the flooring. Only took about half an hour and he was very professional and easy to work with and showed me the blueprint/ diagram before he left. Mike got our quote to us quickly and it was broken down pretty well. The negative is when we got our quote. It was double the price of a few other quotes we received. It was very steep for what we were getting. We decided to pass on continuing with ordering because it was double of some other quotes.

We noticed that Flooring America's estimate was higher than the competitors. After calling and talking with our sales lady she explained the estimate included underlayment to raise the height of the new floor to match to our existing tile. Since we plan on being in our house forever, this was such a great idea! She offered to take off the underlayment, which actually made their estimates less than the competitors. I was glad she took the time and patience to go over the estimate with me! We are so happy with our new floors. The process was very easy and we highly recommend them!

We were able to even test out the padding to see what a difference the better pad made. The install was done very quickly and was great!! They sent a team of 6 guys and they were in at 8a and out by 3p for 1700 sq foot of flooring. VERY impressed with Royal Flooring, we will definitely be using them for future flooring needs!

I have my very expensive LVP that is sliding and in some spots have a 3 inch gap. I have NO idea what they did to my flooring when my house was built, but clearly the flooring did not extend from wall to wall. HORRIBLE customer service and I have no idea how to rectify this at this point. The installation was so bad, that I am concerned our entire house has to be redone. If that is the case and they will not fix the issue? There will be a lawsuit.

Poor installation is one thing, but being ignored by Lifestyle Flooring (Jerry Downing) and them…read morenot standing behind the work of their contractors is totally unacceptable. We paid in full for carpet and installation up front. We have had visually noticeable seams in the carpet from day one. For 8 months, Jerry has attempted to roll and steam the seams and blame the manufacturer. An independent carpet inspector determined the seams are definitely the result of poor installation and not a manufacturer issue (the seams aren't even sealed and overlap / gap / and have carpet fibers tucked under the backing). Now Jerry ignores us and won't return our phone calls and emails. We have spent over $11,000 for carpet and LVP and Lifestyle Flooring won't even give us the courtesy of a call to try to reach a resolution. Due to their unresponsiveness, we filed a claim with the Better Business Bureau and then Small Claims and Lifestyle Flooring was unresponsive to both claims. Lifestyle Flooring was re-organized in late 2020 with Jerry being the sole owner. He no longer has partners nor some of the experienced installers. They were good to work with until the issue was theirs to fix. Not sure why anyone would choose to work with them when there are so many other reputable flooring companies to do business with. I'm not one to vent on social media but unfortunately they haven't given us any options.
