They have Shawarma in chicken, steak, or veggie, and burritos as well. The atmosphere is fun and attracts all age groups over 21. The owners are attentive and multi task very well. Absolutely my FAVORITE brewery in Redding! The staff is amazing, super friendly and knowledgeable about what they offer. They have a huge variety of beers - so there is something for everyone (we served Cedar Crest beer at our wedding)! They even have a ton of seltzer flavors, for those who like seltzer instead of beer (they also serve wine). The space is larger than you think, from the outside it looks small but it's not at all. Their back space is perfect for a large group or planned party. The environment is awesome - I've seen people working while at the bar, watching a game, and celebrating a birthday in the back area all at the same time. There are many regulars so they must be doing something right!! :) read more

Beer and food was great! And Tuesday night trivia was so much fun! Such a fun thing to have available in this town.

We have had an event planned here for over 3 months. Invitations sent out, multiple meeting with management, etc. Then a week before they text(!!) at 8:30 pm that they can no longer accommodate our event. They did offer to change the time of the event to earlier, but we have already had invitations sent out and would still be rushed out of there. They did not offer any waiver of fees or discounts on beverages. In my opinion this is very unprofessional and just bad business. We will no longer patronize this business. I thought it was just some small new bar. When I looked in there and I noticed how beautiful their bar was. And so I walked all the way to the back and there is a huge dance floor and families like sitting areas and a great place for the band. You can see the brewery in the back. The family and business is amazing they are so kind and service is amazing. And me being the DD they were OK with me just drinking water or tea all night so I had a great time and I definitely will go back because the bands are the best and the foods not bad either pretty good for bar food ha ha read more

Wow! Went for the first time last night. I was pleasantly surprised, okay, actually shocked, that Redding had a place this "cool" and "chill". My friend and I were looking for a place to eat and talk after 9:30 p.m., after our kids' basketball game ended. The restaurants we talked about going to were closing at 10 and had already stopped serving. We saw the bright, colorful, "Open" sign of Cedar Crest Brewing and decided to try the place. Upon entering, although I didn't look like anybody in the bar, I felt immediately welcome and comfortable. I also noticed that the place was beautiful and clean. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the music I had heard from the back of the building, was actually coming from inside and that there was a dance floor in the back, with a live DJ (what?!). My friend and I don't drink beer, so the bartender was super patient and friendly and helped us find something else we'd like (Cranberry Splash, with vodka substituted for seltzer. It was delicious.). We stayed for hours with--surprisingly--more people coming in, the later it got. Everyone in the place was "chill" and seemed to carry the same vibe. I'm pretty frugal so I don't go out much, but I am going to make it a point to support this place at least once or twice a month because I don't want it to close. It's one of the first places I've been at night in Redding that felt like "home" (meaning, that small, neighborhood pub you find on a corner, in a really big city (except this is in a small city)). read more

I've been to Cedar Crest a few times now for a growler fill. The staff have all been very friendly and knowledgeable about the beers on tap. I've only tried the pale ale, but it is delicious! Definitely worth checking out if you're downtown! read more
