I know I know it's only been a few days since my last review on this spot but it's small business Saturday and I feel it only right to support them however I can. Dropped in for some fresh beers and good times which we found both! While we were here we noticed yes another game we hadn't tried so moved to one of the many lower tables to give it a shot (which proved to be fun) if you live here you should already be here but if not get here soon. And if you're from out of the area and looking for a great spot to chill with some good drinks and a fun vibe then Westside Tap&cork is the spot! Come get you some!

This is what $14 for one glass of wine gets you here?! Like really? I asked if this was a normal pour and they said it was. We also got a build your own charcuterie which is a great idea but executed with mediocrity. the baguette is the driest thing I have ever put in my mouth. Tastes like it was frozen. They could have at least toasted it to hide how crappy it is. I Won't be coming back here. I keep trying it when it gets new owners but it only gets worse. What a rip off.

I popped into this little gem, impromptu, one evening, after a great day at the lake. With that said- I was in wet shorts and a hoodie lol with a friend that was in town form New Orleans. We had a great time here. I will say the vibe is there and the staff is great. This place was bustling. There were larger groups of people and people partaking in vino or a craft beer solo. The clientele was diverse from people in suits to people in baseball caps & t-shirts, or me with my wet shorts and my hoodie lol. It was just a great spot all & all. I met the owner, whom had just recently acquired the business and he was a great welcoming gentleman, as was his other fellow working with him that evening. They have an interesting selection, which I appreciated. It's always nice to try different things, than the preferred standard. I highly recommend this spot if you're looking for a nice wine bar with a great vibe in the area. I will definitely be revisiting.

Best place to get a rad beer from the coolest breweries! Zach knows beer and the wine selection is amazing. Love the atmosphere and service. Definitely worth the visit!

Date night means beer for him and a glass of pinot for me.

Definitely loving the vibe of this place. My husband and I have had date night here three weeks in a row! Lots of beer and wine options + charcuterie boards that compliment our drinks. Service and new owners are amazing. Zach the owner has been working in the alcohol world for a decade and really knows his stuff. Excited for wine club this weekend!

Rachel recommend a perfect beer. Great all around service. First time coming in will forsure be back because of her service. Great vibe to the place. Downtown redding needs more spots like this.

Great customer service, I highly recommend this place. They have different craft beer's, and the appetizers are out of this world....

*Highly Recommend * Loved the selection of both beer and wine! My BF and I both had the wine and beer flights. The staff are very friendly and followed COVID protocol. Service was quick as we were one of three groups there which we enjoyed. The location provides an indoor /outdoor option; Very nice location/aesthetics on point. * BF says the beercuterie appetizer looked dope will have to try next time ‍

A brand new location for an established wine bar. I really like that this place is downtown near the heart of it all in Redding. It's a weird time for restaurants/bars and the staff at WW&H did all the right things in keeping the place safe and enjoyable for everyone. The beer list was great, 10 different craft beer selections on tap from some amazing breweries. The wine they carry is boutique, well priced, and not the stuff you're going to find in a typical store. Really felt like you could travel through the wine globe with all the different regions and countries WW&H carries vino from. The small plates tasted great.. I had the Tre Uovas(3 types of deviled eggs) and the caprese crostini. They were both excellent and paired very well with the libations. I'll be back soon hopefully to try some more great things. Westside Wines & Hops is a vibrant place with a lovely staff and comfortable vibes. Check it out!

Where do I start? This place really has all of my favorite things. Great wine, great beer, and so many charcuterie spreads. Perfect for an after work meet up, date night, or girls night out. With a rotating wine and beer menu, I won't worry about recommendations but I can say that it is all quality. With a staff consisting of a cicerone (beer sommelier) and wine experts (maybe a sommelier but I don't know), you can expect excellent options and knowledgeable descriptions for pairings and recommendations. Your pretentious friend will appreciate it but not to worry because your friend who knows nothing about beer and wine will still be comfortable here. My favorite feature of this place is the rolling doors that transform from strictly indoors to this really great indoor/outdoor transitional space. Can't wait to plan my next girls night here!

Try the Half Cocked Root Beer! Yummers. Also must try the Brewery on Eastside Road. Great space and always tons of activities.

The entrance was a bit tough to recognize. In addition, the sign requesting patrons to wait to be seated was absent personnel. The youngster arrived while on the phone taking a reservation. Further delay as she coordinated seating for the large group (showing up on Wednesday, she shared). She mentioned they were slow and said I could select whatever table I liked. I ordered a savory martini and filet mignon, mashed potatoes and French onion soup. Soup arrived with the martini and the two could not have been more oppositely received. The soup exquisite, the martini...nearly undrinkable. But to be fair, I wasn't expecting an overwhelming bell pepper flavor. Black pepper Absolute Vodka was the description. I detest bell peppers. I tried to choke down as much as I could, then decided to give up halfway through. The soup was sublime. A 1/4 inch slice of brown toast under the melted Swiss cheese, the broth and onions delicious. I requested a 6 ounce pour of the Caymus California Cabernet Sauvignon with the steak. It arrived with my meat and potatoes beautifully plated. I'm not sure I wasn't served a sirloin. That filet was the shape of no filet I've ever bought or been served. But it was perfectly cooked and the mashed potatoes were sublime - buttery and flavorful. The wine with less tannins than I anticipated- I really enjoyed that. Service was attentive and both the hostess and my server checked on me. My drive back to Sacramento will be pleasant.

Mac and cheese with bacon, French onion soup and the surf & turf skewers. French onion Soup was DELICIOUS, we added a little salt to the other two dishes and they were really good too. For dinner I ordered the $24 Caesar - it was good and it was big but it was a lot for a basic good tasting Caesar. Husband ordered the Chicken Parm over pasta with a red sauce and he loved it. Portion was huge and he brought half home. For dessert we had the cheesecake and the cream brûlée, both really good. Only downside, if you are dropping almost $200 for dinner, the bathrooms need to be clean and upscale. Mold in the ladies room toilet at the waterline - yuck - and Toilet paper dispenser broken and laying on the floor in the stall. This needs improvement. Overall we were happy with our meal and we will be back.

The historic Thompson House is the perfect backdrop for wine tasting. The thing I love most about MFC is that it doesn't feel like a wine bar. It's got wine and a bar... but it feels like you're hanging out at your trendy friend's house. There's a living room area with fireplace, a dining room, a front porch with a cafe table & chairs, and big front lawn with Adirondack chairs in pairs & quads. Truly a choose your own pleasure! We couldn't pass up the perfect late spring afternoon, so I sunk into a deep Adirondack chair and enjoyed my wine tasting al fresco. The neon sign in the front window is the cutest, and just added to the overall vibe. Chuck was so hospitable, and brought me each pour from his post behind the bar inside. He gave insight into each wine, and then disappeared so I could enjoy at my own pace. MFC is very dog friendly, inside too, but I can't think of anywhere I've been in recent memory that was more perfect than wine tasting here on the front lawn with my pup in my lap.
