Her recommedations were rote and, frankly, a bit condescending. Of course, my cat had the more common stones that were not amenable to a dietary manipulation and he had to undergo emergency surgery to clear the bladder and urethral stones. In short, I am pissed off that my sweet Alex had to suffer; I should have gotten a second opinion sooner. Finally, IMHO Dr. Ripley should have known better and acted on the established facts regarding bladder stones in cats and not recommending extraneous extra tests and medications.

From the minute I called to make the appointment, they treated me like family. Very kind and patient. Dr. Durfee and Presley were so good with my little guy. They were gentle and took time to get to know me and my dog. They explained everything thoroughly and my little Bentley was really chill the whole time. About a month later brought Bentley for a nail trim. They did an amazing job and filed his nails so smooth. This week Bentley wasn't feeling well. I could tell. He had a cough and tummy troubles. Called the office and they fit us in right away. So friendly and kind, no pressure to purchase anything, made recommendations about current care and what may help once his tummy troubles clear. We have a plan to keep an eye on his heart condition two he can live as long as possible. I would clone him if I could. During this visit I let the tech know we would be out of town for the holidays when the last set of vaccinations were due and she stated, that's okay there is a 2 week grace period so as long as you get them in before 2 weeks they should be fine. I scheduled a time within the two week period and they told me I would have to start the vaccines all over again. This was a litter vaccine schedule so they would be charging a lot once again to re-vaccinate all of the puppies. If they were not so rude maybe I would think about it, but the staff has not been pleasant so many times. It's so unfortunate because the first appt with Dr. Erickson and his tech was absolutely amazing!!!

I have been taking my pets here for a couple of years now. Two cats and now a puppy. My male and…read morefemale cat have received vaccinations and were both spayed and neutered here. Both recovered wonderfully and are both healthy loving cats! My boy kitty had an eye infection about a year ago and they promptly got him in and gave me medicine for him that would last a while. One of my favorite things about this place is they are always willing to work with my budget while giving the best care they can. I still pay for the things my pets need but they have good affordable options! The staff is kind and explains any and all questions I have pertaining to surgery , medications and care. I've always felt they give my babies the best care possible. Covid precautions have been nice as well, show up, call and then they come out to get your animal. With a small office this has been a major plus. My most recent appt is for a new puppy! They were able to get him in in a week, which is faster than other places! He was tested in another state while we were on vacation for parasites which came back positive, they were willing to receive that information and prescribe antibiotics fast! I love this place, I recommend it to anyone I know with pets. I couldn't imagine having any other vet or trusting another place with my furry family members!

Dr. Milan took the time to answer every single one of my questions, explain the details thoroughly, and develop a plan that prioritized my dog's success while also being mindful of financial constraints. He focused on the essential tests that made the surgery possible for me to afford, and it was always clear that his top priority was my pet's well-being and quality of life. He is exceptional at what he does, and I will always be grateful I found him. The techs were also fantastic; walking me through the pre- and post-op process with care and professionalism. That said, the business side of this hospital left a very different impression. The financial policies feel rigid, profit-driven, and disconnected from the compassion their medical staff provides. My dog's gallbladder surgery was around $10k and they required full upfront payment before even beginning check-in. This drastically delayed check and check out unnecessarily. They do not offer direct pay options with insurance providers and insisted this was somehow a "benefit" to me. In reality, requiring $10k cash or card upfront- and even refusing checks- puts families in heartbreaking positions during emergencies. The check-in process was stressful and impersonal. My dog wasn't even taken back until the payment fully cleared, which took about 30 minutes while I worked with my bank to lift a daily card limit. During checkout, I was immediately presented with a card machine for an additional $850 balance before they would even start preparing my dog for release. There was no warm greeting, no conversation about how my dog did- just a transaction. It made me feel like seeing my dog again was contingent on payment, which overshadowed the relief I felt knowing the surgery was successful. While the front desk is urgent and quick to demand the money- they cannot answer a single billing question from your receipt. In summary: The medical staff here, especially Dr. Milan, are outstanding and truly care about pets and their families. Unfortunately, the administrative and financial side of the clinic delivers a cold, business-first experience that undermines the incredible work being done in the operating room. If Dr. Milan were to practice elsewhere, I would follow him without hesitation. Huge tip: if you are traveling from out of town or just want an additional night right next to their 24/7 urgent care the hotel has a contract with them that provides a great discount.
