The space is located within a restored historic building. The renovations are a mix of artistry and invention. Impressive. Our 2nd floor studio was meticulously clean. Beautifully decorated, lit and designed. All appliances and equipment worked well. Loved the large shower, and nice toiletries! We enjoyed a quiet, comfortable night's sleep. In the early morning, we were very pleased to find such a masterful coffee / pastry shop in the lobby for a rich Cortado. High recommendations.

Had no idea what arrive was and had never heard of it. We could not have been happier! We brought our French bulldog with us, and the staff made us feel so welcome. The building is an old factory turned into a hotel so it's very industrial which I think is a cool aspect. Instead of carpet, it's concrete floor floors with a area carpet. I especially appreciated this! Carpets and hotel rooms always tend to freak me out a bit. When we walked in, there was a big comfy bed for our puppy with a new toy, homemade biscuits and ceramic food and water bowls! The civil rights Museum and blues Hall of Fame are practically next-door. Highly recommend the civil rights museum. Staff were amazing and very helpful and friendly. Would highly recommend and can't wait to go back.

The hotel itself offers large, clean, and spacious rooms, which made the stay comfortable and relaxing. Everything felt well-maintained, and the rates were excellent for the quality provided. Now let's talk about the food--because it definitely deserves recognition. The salmon bites were absolutely delicious, and the cheesecake was just as impressive. The catering throughout the event was well-executed and flavorful, which added a nice touch to the overall experience. The event space was also well done. The setup was clean, organized, and created a great atmosphere for the conference. The vibe throughout the weekend was positive and engaging, and the DJ really brought it all together with a great mix of music across multiple genres. Spacious, clean rooms Excellent pricing for the stay Delicious catered food (salmon bites + cheesecake standout) Well-organized event space Great music and overall vibe This was a well-rounded experience, and I would definitely stay here again--whether for an event or just a getaway

The serve a great breakfast starting fairly early as well. For the evenings there's always a live DJ in the evenings to keep the vibes right. The rooms have always been clean and offer some great views of the city or river on the higher floors. If you want more space I recommend going for 2 queen bed room as the King rooms while lovely can be tight. It is a little further from Beale street than most downtown hotels which is a plus for me. The South main area has many cute shops and dining options still in walking distance to enjoy plus a grocery store around the corner if needed.

***Good location***…read more Go down the block and you're right at Beale Street. FedEx Forum is across the street. Baseball stadium is diagonally across the street. Able to walk to Sun Studio 0.8 mile away, Charlie Vergoss Rendezvous (but there's better food to be had than there), Peabody Hotel is a block away. One downside: Lyft drivers seemed confused about where to drop off or pick up, usually stopping on the other side of Peabody Place. The back courtyard entrance of the hotel, near the parking garage, is somewhat hidden even when I gave the Lyft drivers directions. Clean - including the top of the shower curtain railing, I checked. Housekeeping - didn't need cleaning or bedding changing, just a change of towels. The young housekeeping black man(forgot his name) was very personable and accommodating. Breakfast buffet - the two women worked hard, constantly keeping the area clean and tidy, having food out, and taking our plates away when done. Standard fare - eggs (omelet or scrambled), sausage links or patties, potatoes, do it yourself waffles, oatmeal, breads, yogurt, coffee & tea & juice. Fruit was not ripe. Room- the *best shower water pressure* I've ever felt! A night light was in the bathroom, a considerate feature when the room lights are off. Above the center night stand, the electrical outlet on the left needed occasional jiggling to maintain a connection, I forgot to tell the front desk about this. Mattress and pillows were comfortable. A/C worked well. One con: inquired about late checkout as a Hilton Honors member and was told it was not possible. That's the first time I was ever told that.

It benefits from a great location being within steps of Beale Street, and both Grizzlies and Redbirds games! It's also quiet on the upper floors, and the breakfast is spectacular as always. Parking will set you back $26 every 24 hours and an additional hourly charge for staying past 1:00 p.m. the following day. So yeah, you pay for the location. It's not a great bargain for the price. But it's good enough if you want to stay in the heart of Memphis. The music from Beale Street is loud throughout the night, but the hotel is kind enough to provide earplugs in your room. That leaky toilet will keep you up all night, though! And the outlets are so stripped, you'll get an unpleasant surprise in the morning when you realize your devices haven't recharged!! That was the worst aspect of this hotel!!

The design is clean and considered warm tones, thoughtful finishes, the kind of contemporary aesthetic that feels curated rather than assembled. You don't walk into a lobby that's trying to impress you; you walk into one that welcomes you. There's a difference, and it matters. The rooms carry that same sensibility. Comfortable in the truest sense not merely adequate, but genuinely restful. The kind of bed you sink into and feel the day release from your shoulders. The kind of space that says you're taken A genuine hospitality that feels rooted in the city itself rather than scripted by a brand manual. Memphis has always been generous that way, and the Canopy reflects it. And then there's the catfish. I don't say this lightly: the catfish here is worth the trip on its own terms. Crisp where it should be crisp, tender where it should yield -- it carries that deep Southern confidence that reminds you food can be both humble and extraordinary at the same time. It's the kind of dish that makes you set down your fork for a moment, not because you're finished, but because you want to be present for it. For travelers who want Memphis without the chaos, who want proximity to the legend of Beale Street but a retreat that breathes, the Canopy is a quiet, well-kept secret. Boutique in the best sense. Modern without being cold. Memphis without apology.

Beale St, Rendezvous, The Peabody, the riverfront are all within walking distance. Some of the places within a block or two. Location really couldn't be better. We elected to take advantage of the valet service which i found to be very reasonably priced. The person who checked us in was awesome. She was very friendly and helpful, she offered some really good suggestions for things to do/see. The room was the biggest room I have ever had in a hotel in my life and I've stayed in a lot of hotels. I can assure you that I did not select the highest room class when I booked this either. The thing was literally a LOFT with the bed and bathroom above the kitchen/living room area. There were large windows that provided a view of the city and even the river! The shower was great as well. There was plenty of space for using your own soaps. The water pressure was also better than expected. The shower was easy to use and figure out the towels were big and soft. Everything was spotless. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.
