In 2020, I paid to upgrade to the premium 300mbps connection and they gave me a new, but identical router. I did have somewhat faster speeds, but nowhere near what I was paying $100 per month for. I finally found a much cheaper and better option and went to the store to cancel my service. There, I was told that a) the router they gave me wasn't capable of operating at 300mbps, and b ) that speed it wasn't even available until 6 months ago. So, basically I've been paying a premium price for sub-par internet, which they sold me knowing iwas sub-par.

Now that I am cancelling, they say there policy is to offer no refund of my prepaid monthly fees. Twice tried to return my equipment during posted business hours, but their office was closed. Reached a customer service rep to cancel my account and was told the only way to cancel was by an emailed form that makes you agree to their terms. When I said this wasn't acceptable the rep hung up on me. They are one of the few options in my area, but I would never recommend them.
