My Uncle & Aunt who live in North Liberty, IA treated myself and other family members to brunch & a tour of the distillery. The seating area outside is very nice and the view is beautiful. The $23.99 brunch really could step up the food items. I personally did not eat brunch after seeing what was offered and it just didn't look appealing. I'm from California and the brunch menus at the wineries I go to the food is top tier. But you do pay $80.00+ and up. After brunch my uncle treated us all to the tour. Our tour guide Kelly was absolutely amazing. She was very informative and answered any questions we asked. Kelly truly dies deserves the 5 star review. After our distillery tour we all sat back out at the patio area and listens to live music. We ordered some wine and I ordered their wood fire cheese pizza which was very delicious. Today was a very nice outing for the family. If I ever come back I would just order pizza or something off the menu and NOT the brunch.

I don't care what anybody says, this is one of my favorite spot in the area! As always the service was excellent and the food was on point. But what really blow my mind was setting outside drinking an old fashioned well watching the sunset. Pretty freaking cool!!!!

The two flights were good to try for the price. On the other hand my wings were not warm and very dry. The chips and dip was very salty. My waitress was very nice and polite about my experience at the distillery. Very nice atmosphere and there were tons of pros here. Staff is great and the drinks were amazing. I would say if you're in the area stop by and experience the atmosphere, and the drinks.

Came here recently and had a wonderful experience! First of all the space is beautiful especially the outdoor area where we sat. I enjoyed a flight of sweet wines which were all very good, my favorite was the apple cranberry or harvest blush. While I was here I also had the crowd pleaser punch and enjoyed sharing the butcher board and smoked gouda and ribeye pizza. For the drinks the harvest blush was definitely the sweetest - very much giving moscato. The atlas was more acidic and a bit dry, less on the sweet side, and the apple cranberry was somewhere in the middle - a nice sweet and fruity blend. The crowd pleaser punch was also yummy, heavy on the pineapple flavor and very little taste of alcohol if that's something you look for. I really enjoyed the butcher board and thought it had a nice array of options with cheese curds, Brie, a fruit spread, little pickles, a couple different meats, a yummy cheese spread, and bread. I was slightly underwhelmed by the pizza - but mostly because I was expecting the smoked gouda flavor but didn't think that really came through at all. The flavor of the meat was great though, ultimately I just wish it had a little more sauce on it, but otherwise a solid pizza. I would definitely recommend this spot for getting together with friends - such a fun atmosphere! I'll definitely be back!

Great time as usual at Cedar Ridge. We sat near the band and enjoyed some delicious food and drink. There is sure to be food for anyone's taste, including kids. The staff is great and the atmosphere is always fun and relaxed.

Great wine flight and snacks! Would totally go back and try the pizza and all the other food! All the wine was exceptional! And live music was a great bonus. Such a fun Saturday spot!

Fun outdoor spaces overlooking the vines.

We have enjoyed coming to Cedar Ridge since their opening and loved to see them thrive and expand. Their specialty dinners are always amazing and we enjoy live music from the fabulous outdoor spaces. Our server, Olivia, was friendly and professional and we enjoyed her pleasant demeanor.

Really nice experience here. Been many times - from Saturday afternoon live music sessions in the sun, to chilly October fall outdoor dinners by the fire pit, also with live music, which seems to be one of their things. The food is really good even though the menu is not extensive. For example, the five cheese pizza is phenomenal and the little chips with the onion dip they do are great, but I really wish they had fries which is my only critique. I've tried the wine and whiskey they make there and while it's pretty good for Iowa, don't go into it thinking you're in Napa or Bordeaux, France.

    The queso! Yum!!

I surprised my wife with a tour and lunch at cedar ridge and honestly we had a blast. The food was Devine, the tour was great and the tour guide was hilarious and fit right in with us! We had such a great time and can't wait to go back!

Saturday lunch a few days prior to St. Patty's Day. I have only experienced Cedar Ridge once before with a flight of wine and amazing appetizers. So I wanted to give a whirl again and see about their entrees. Our party of three were seated immediately, with prompt serve getting our drink orders. You are able and to sample the bourns etc before settling on a final pick. I ordered a bottle of harvest blush wine and special their Ruben and kettle chip in leu of the holiday. The Ruben sandwich was delightful, chef's kiss, so yummy. As others in my party ordered the same and one other got a bacon pulled pork mac and cheese. Everyone was full and happy in this afternoon lunch. Not only was service on point, excellent food, but the ambience can really set the setting which is Cedar Ridge Winery does exactly that.

First time visiting. Great service. I had a lovely meal and got to sample several whiskey and wines. Purchased 3 bottles.

Be aware! Cedar Ridge use molded serving board! they claimed that is wood discolored. see the photo yourself! The mold would cause liver cancer. They served foods with molded wood boards and show me multiple wood boards with black marks and claimed they are not molded.

They've got a solid number of both whites and reds, as well as a delightful port that's a great ending to any evening. The red's largely have a medeival theme (Knight's red, Monk's red and Stormy Knight) that we assume has something to do with the cellar story, but whatever the reason, Knight's are cool, the wine is good, 'nuf said! Whites weres solid with our favorite being the Oktoberfest - a sweet white that's available, you guessed it, in October and until they run out! We've been very impressed with the folks that work here. They know the wine well, love to help you sample the libations and make some great food recs to go with the wines! Another fun thing that we're excited to try are the dinner's the have throughout the year. They pair wines with a local establishment and serve up a delicious evening. They've also become active with many of festivals that occur in Amana throughout the year making it always a good time to drop by. Our favorite wines have been the Monk's red - fuller red that's really smooth, the Knight's red - little dryer with a big of kick - good with steak!, Cranberry Bog was different and a good lighter wine and we really like the the Stormy knight as a way to end an evening - it's a delicious heavy port that's basically dessert in a bottle. Great spot with some really good wines! Better selection of "normal" wines that many of the other Amana shops (though you won't find any dandelion wine here) and certainly worth stopping in for. They'll treat you right and likely introduce you to a wine you didn't know you loved - now back ot the Monk's red!

Once they noticed we were there, we said it was our first time, so we just read the menu and did a wine tasting with cheese for $14. The lady said okay, sit wherever. We sat in the back of the tasting room, there was no-one else in the place, she brought the wine and cheese to the table and left. No explanation, no entry into their wines, nothing. First off the glasses were thick, like used for beer tasting? no ability to see the legs on the wine. But what was I thinking? I had my doubts just given the names of the wines... Ember wine? Dandelion wine? Marquette rose? I proceeded to start with the ember - a red-ish wine... not full body, lacked depth. The rose, had an after finish of water that just ran off my tongue, a good rose has a crisp refreshing taste with balanced acidity and fruit notes... this was horrible. Next up the dandelion? I'm only to assume it's supposed to be like a chard, but honestly I left it on the table. Should it be warm like a mead? Confusing. I'm from the PNW and we are known for exceptional 90+point wines and family estates, so I know wines, and whatever I drank today, was not it. On my way out, other folks entered and were at the check in and the staff was more than willing to walk them through selections of wines for tastings. Wish I had that!

From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was warm, thoughtful, and incredibly well organized. The beautiful grounds, relaxed atmosphere, locally sourced farm-to-table meal, and attention to every detail made the evening unforgettable. Our attendees loved everything, from exploring the property and visiting the animals to enjoying dinner and participating in our murder mystery event. Planning an event for a large group can be stressful, but the Walker Homestead team made the process easy and enjoyable. They were responsive, flexible, accommodating, and committed to making sure everything went smoothly. The food was outstanding, the service was excellent, and the entire evening felt personal and special rather than simply being another hosted event.
