Not your run of the mill pet motel. Very homey & compfy for our doggy. A loving atmosphere made Heidi a happy camper.

I have read the reviews others have put on here to include old and new and I just don't see it with…read moremy experiences. I have been going here for three years and have not once had a bad experience. Friendly staff to include the doctors and nurses. I give them four stars only because the expense of yearly vaccines and such is outrageous. I grew up around a lot of animals and understand that some folks are fanatical about their pets. Meaning it's not unheard of to take your horse to a spa and spend $1000 in an afternoon, so it can get a massage, hydrotherapy and a pedicure. I am no such animal lover. I have three dogs which I take very good care of. I provide a wilderness oasis of 287 acres to run in a river to swim in and yearly vaccines and a bath when they start to smell. I don't take my dogs to the groomers (I understand that some breed require that) and clip their nails myself. I don't dress my dog up on Halloween and include them in family photos. It been my experience that those that do also have an unrealistic and in some cases mental issue associated with their dogs and cats and as such carry about themselves and air of superiority. I don't know everyone's personal experience at this business but my experience differs very much. I give respect and I get respect. I am courteous and accommodating and I have received the same in return. I don't push, and I don't have dogs that have every medical issue under the sun. I get in and get out and try to do it the cheapest possible. I try to take reviews with a grain of salt understanding that there are a lot of factors that go into any ones individual experience. Overall I enjoy my visits to the vet and will continue using this vet for my three dogs, Bosly, Elvis and Otis.

I have an appointment today for the first time, but for the many 1 star reviews that complained…read moreabout $74 bills, $83 bills, stay away from HILLSIDE. Every single time I walk in the door it's over $600, no kidding My pet got injections that made her deathly ill. They consistently prescribe expensive meds that do NOT work. They don't follow up or call back when the pet gets seriously ill, younger pets too. Talk about gouging. THIS is real gouging. Stay away from Hillside

I came across this groomer by accident. I was trying out a new route from my house to the DMV when…read moreI passed a sign that said Pawsitive Vibes Grooming Salon LLC standing next to a driveway that led into the woods. I'm glad I saw it. My wife and I have lived in Inwood, WV for over 10 years now. We've tried various groomers both in Inwood, near Inwood, and in Winchester. All of them did an OK job except for one (shaved our miniature schnauzer without telling us). These grooming experiences were nothing to shout about or even take the time to post a review. They all were quite expensive, and didn't really meet our expectations given the price we. had to pay. When I got home I looked. up Kayla's website. I was excited to see that her prices were much more reasonable. So I called her up and made a reservation to have Abby groomed.. On the day of the grooming, we arrived on time, and Kayla was waiting for us at the door. She took Abby right away after filling out some paperwork. I asked her how long it would take, and she said about an hour to an hour and a half. Really? All of the other groomers to 4 or more hours because they put Abby in a cage and left her there until they were actually ready to groom her. Kayla doesn't do that. I didn't even see any cages in her salon. Sure enough, one hour later Kayla calls to tell us that Abby will be ready in 15 minutes. It took me 20 minutes to get in my car and drive to her shop. Abby was waiting at the door for me. I forgot to bring my checkbook, which Kayla had told me to do because she only accepts cash or a check. I didn't really want to run back home, get it and come back, but would have if Kayla hadn't said I could pay her the next time she grooms Abby - early August! It was May 5th that day she groomed Abby. I asked where the nearest ATM machine was but unfortunately there wasn't one close by because this is a very rural area. Kayla said, don't worry about it. You can send me a check instead. How many groomers have told you not to worry about it, just send them a check. In all my years of having a dog groomed (over 25 years), not a single groomer ever did that. Most groomers hold your dog hostage until you pay! Not Kayla. She's not only a very friendly person, but also a very trusting person. Remember, this was the very first time we had taken Abby to her. Now we've had Abby groomed by six different groomers in the four years we've had her. She's a 4 year old miniature schnauzer and we got her when she was 8 weeks old. As I said earlier, those groomers did an OK job - nothing to shout about except for one who completely shaved Abby. Kayla did an excellent job. When I brought Abby home, my wife was amazed at how well Kayla had cut Abby's beard and legs. She just kept making over what a great job Kayla did grooming Abby, and I totally agree. So not only was Kayla trusting me to send her a check (for less than any other groomer charged us), she was very nice, very friendly, and an excellent groomer. I. made Abby's next appointment before I brought her home. I'm extremely happy with the treatment Abby received from Kayla and am making her Abby's new groomer from now on. It is my honor to share these experiences with you, and I highly recommend Pawsitive Vibes Groom ing Salon to other dog owners. Although I never carry cash or my checkbook because I've gotten in the habit of just using a credit card (to get the travel points), it is no big deal for me to bring my checkbook (which I will not forget on our next appointment). I hope you have a similar excellent experience if you choose to have Kayla groom your dog. Thank you Kayla.
