My wife's cousin had a wedding and reception here recently. All in all the place itself is gorgeous…read moreand lent a nice vibe to the day. They had a beautiful outdoor space for the ceremony, tucked away in a clearing in the trees. For the reception ,the place itself is vrey cool. It's a barn all redone with really nice wood giving it a rustic yet modern feeling. It's two floors with the top floor having a nice wrap around deck. My only qualm with the place is that all that wood provides for plenty of echoing effect with the sounds reverberating around the room. It was very loud and hard to talk to people during cocktail hour and at your own dinner table. Then once the music was on, forget about it. It was like being at a loud club. This might not be an issue if the doors and windows were open but since it was hot they had air conditioning on, which left no place for the sound to all go. Outside of this, a really great venue though.

It's a beautiful venue. Did not like staff. Spent a lot of money to end up having my cousin set up…read morethe whole thing. Diana never once alleviated any of my worries. She added to them! Anything you asked about was met with an attitude. Very business like. Always made a point to prioritize tours and not the wedding they were hosting literally that weekend. We had to scramble out of the venue at the end of the night Saturday because they needed their cleaners to come in the next day to clean up for the tours at 10:30 am Sunday. Sunday morning came around and we were scrambling to get out by 10 am. The owner (whom I had previously never met) then came down to confront us about a one star review that was left by a guest of ours. Our guest felt as if he was being racially discriminated against by the bartenders as he was asked multiple times for his license, which he didn't have, it was in his car. He then presented it to the bartenders. Our guest was upset as he watched multiple other people getting drinks and he was the only one he saw get ID'd. We understand staff was trying to comply with NYS law; however, staff was seen laughing at our guest when he stated he felt racially discriminated against. THIS IS WHY HE WAS UPSET. Professional standards do not include laughing at guests when they bring a concern to management. Also, although they stated the bartenders ID'd numerous people, others were not ID'd once which creates a discrepancy in practice and therefore could be the cause for the issue above, but there is no excuse to laugh at a guests concerns, especially when it comes to race! There were other issues as well. We expressed this concern to the owner and I informed him if he would like to continue with our conversation, he could call. Big surprise he has NOT called me. If you were truly a businessman, you would care about low stars and would give that person a call in order to correct it for your next customer. The venue is stunning, I would Spend my money elsewhere that is more personable and you can actually enjoy your wedding! They only care about getting paid! Our day was amazing despite them!

The bridal suite was my favorite part. We had a larger wedding party. We were all able to hang out there all day for hair and make up and there was plenty of space for all of us. The food was set up in a buffet style and there was not a single dish I did not like! Incredible experience, Absolutely no complaints.

Dave and his attorney say they will file bankruptcy before they give us our money back. This is abhorrent.
