When I asked to make sure all cupcakes would be filled, she said, "Yes, all will be filled with pink," completely ruining the surprise. This was supposed to be a private, special moment for us as expecting parents, and it was ruined by carelessness. The next day, another employee called to confirm our order but didn't even seem to have the correct details, proving the lack of communication. Please train your staff better for situations like this--moments like ours can't be redone. I emailed the company - they said the store manager will call but never did. I immediately called the store and asked if I could change the pickup date instead of getting a refund, since I would be ordering more for another event next month anyway. At first, the employee I spoke with was kind and allowed the date change. Unfortunately, I then received a call back saying the manager had decided it was "too late" because the bundtinis had already been prepped, even though my order had only been placed a short time earlier. I made it clear that I was not asking for my money back -- just to move the order to a later date. These were standard flavors that could easily be sold the next day, yet I was essentially told "too bad." The manager was rude, dismissive, and completely unwilling to work with a paying customer. They would rather throw product away than show even minimal flexibility. Extremely disappointing experience and easily the worst customer service I've had in town. I will not be returning.

Note that there are two kinds of raisin bread - and when I return I will stick to the smaller, more cake like variant which the Food Shack used. The larger, airier one I purchased was quite good, with a bit of sugar topping, but it is the smaller, sweeter loaf that is most crave worthy. The crumb cakes are also particularly excellent and justify a visit. Everything tastes as if the freshest, highest quality ingredients are used. The old fashioned decor and vibe add to the wholesome gestalt.
