There's space for a photo booth if you decide to have one against the back wall leading to the bathrooms. The catered food was delicious, only the green beans were a bit salty. Cons: Because it's a shared venue you could occasionally hear the music from the club side of the venue. The bathrooms were also shared which prevented the usual bathroom necessities you find during weddings. There was no coat check, only rolling hangers which I periodically checked on since it was closer to the shared doorway. And the structure of the building meant there were pillars blocking some folks during speeches. Overall this was a solid venue to have a wedding, and they did a really good job setting up tables, and with the food.

We were on the rail so we could see perfectly. I have no complaint about acoustics within the building. There's a "U" shaped balcony above the concert floor. If you're on the balcony rail you would be able to see the show with no difficulty at all. My guess is the venue comfortable capacity is about 1,000 people. We only had water during our show, but I was incredibly impressed that a bottle of water only cost $2. I've been to similar venues in Milwaukee and Chicago and generally pay upwards of $5 just for a water. All in all The District is a nice midsize event venue Sioux Falls should be proud to call their own.
