This Giddings spot is tiny but mighty with a small deduction of the normal beaver fare, clean restrooms and drink stations, and a fair amount of pumps. However, they lack the quality I have come to expect. Specifically, the coffee station gained my ire this time. The last 2 times I have stopped here, the coffee was bad. Like Circle K bad. Burnt and tasteless. And they lack the space for the cold creamers to hide the flavor. The carafes are too low to fit a large cup under so you have to tilt them, risking hot coffee split across your hand. At least it isn't as hot as McD's.

They have a wonderful selection. And they are the only place I know that correctly calls "sausage kolaches" as their real name--Klobásník--or Klobásníky (plural.) but don't expect those to still be there. On a weekday, they might still have these Czech treats until 3 pm, but on the weekends, they go fast! Always friendly staff and i just love looking through their home decor. They have the cutest little tchotchkes that are locally crafted and so wonderful for home, garden, or lawn. I have bought many a christmas and birthday gift on the way. Great metal art as well! I had no engagement with staff while in the store so can't comment on that bit. I took a Waymo so can't comment on parking either but I was a little confused at first by the different set up here. They have 2 stories! So if you're looking for something and don't see it on the first floor, head up the stairs and it'll probably be there. They do have an elevator, as well, if needed. By the registers, they have 3 Self Checkouts for easy self-serve shopping. One staff was monitoring the operations but it was a seamless experience for me. You just gotta keep in mind you are downtown so you may encounter unhomed people and all that comes with that.

I especially appreciate everyone at the pharmacy and the pharmacist who do a great job. I get all my shots there. They are very welcoming. If you live downtown and can walk it's great. If you don't - beware, parking is pretty challenging.
