This theatre is by far the worst theatre I've ever been to. I am new to Mount pleasant, born And raised in Grand Rapids... and my god this theatre need some attention and money from the Loeks. First off it smells awful, 2nd the walls in the bathroom are painted a piss yellow, 3rd the seats are awful, ripped up and uncomfortable. The theatres smell weird, and the projectors always have finger prints on them that distracts from the film. Almost every time I've seen a movie at this theatre I have complained, and none of the times I've complained have I been compensated with a free show or anything. Also I have applied a bunch of times and have been told by a handful of managers that they would call me back to set up an interview since I have 4 years movie theatre experience. Overall the theatre is disgusting and needs money put in for a massive renovation. Can't see the loeks doing anything although since they mostly care about the Grand Rapids locations. I enjoy my experience each time I go here. I usually go for the $6 Tuesdays; however, prices are still steep for drinks and other concessions. That is regular for movie theaters nowadays but considering that there aren't premium seats like some of their competitors, I think there should be some pricing cuts. read more

very unsatisfied with my visit. me and my friend Waquisha wanted to watch the new Smile 2 movie. We bought our tickets, went to our seats, and a minute before the movie was going to start a guy named Greg kicked us out. Greg was actually quite friendly, but his associates were so rude to us. Won't be returning anytime soon. There was no reason for us to be kicked out. I think they were definitely judging us. read more

Trying to stay positive here. The lobby is smaller and the theatre has a bit of a cramped feel. However, that's not really a huge bad spot on its resume. Sound is adequate and the viewing angles are nice. The seating is not as comfortable as AMC. The seats don't decline, and that's what I've become accustomed to. The theaters are also smaller, which can leave you feeling cramped if you're with a large group. However, if you're like me and only go when you know people won't be there, you'll have a great time. The concession area is what saves the day, along with the ticket prices. While still high, a family of four can go for $40. Not bad at all. The Skittle Dispensing Machine is something I've never seen before, so that's cool. Plus they have self serve soda and hot dog condiments. read more

This Cinema is badly in need of an update. Seats are worn out and uncomfortable. You can always hear the movies from the next theater over if it is loud at all. There is NO enforcement of the no cell phone no talking policy. Our last two times there we were disturbed by loud talkers and kids running around. They need to modernize to incorporate some of the great features newer theaters have especially the comfortable seating that most there's have now. read more

The guy up front is a legend and the Theater is great but a bug crawled on my leg so they get a 3 star.

When I am in town I usually end up watching a movie here. This is the only theatre in Mt. Pleasant. The next closest theatre is 15 miles away in Alma. The theatre could use a remodel, the carpets and seats look outdated but it satisfies the guest movie experience. Just like AMC, they have reserved seats(you can choose your seats in advance) you can refill your own drinks and go crazy on all the butter and seasonings you want. For a flat rate you can even purchase a popcorn bucket and re-use them again-valid for one fill up of popcorn per movie visit. On weekends they offer great movie matinee deals. I would also suggest signing up for there C Rewards card program you will instantly get savings. read more

The theater badly needs a facelift. The seats are broken down and uncomfortable while sitting through a movie. The more modern movie theaters have cushy comfortable reclining seats that are much more inviting for me. It just seems that for the money they charge they should be more customer focused. This theater needs to get with the times and update their auditorium. read more

Celebration! Cinema is a huge cinema In Mt. Pleasant. The cinema has great popcorn but things are a little pricey but I expect that from a movie theatre. The cinema has a small arcade for when you are waiting on your movie to start. The restrooms are very large and clean as well as the viewing rooms. Celebration has comfortable seating and IMax seating which moves with the movie allowing you to feel submerged into the movie. I know many theaters allow people to do this but they have a digital touch screen which lets you chose which seat on which row you want it sit in. read more

I can not give a place like this a good review when they charge $23 for two drinks and a popcorn. Absolutely insane.

Absolutely love this theater. +Great service Staff is friendly and helpful Some movies are very enjoyable to attend on opening night (the costume contest for Star Wars: The Force Awakens was absolutely fun to watch) +Clean I mean, I didn't go through with a white glove and check everything, but everything looked clean and nothing looked disgusting. +Amazing popcorn Definitely the best popcorn I've ever had. +Comfortable seating Seats are nice, but not as comfortable as some of the seating options in Lansing and Grand Rapids Celebration Cinemas. +D-BOX Motion seating available. Sure it's a little gimmicky, but it's an absolute blast sometimes (Kong: Skull Island was probably one of my favorite movies with D-BOX) +Small arcade Great for wasting time if you get to there early, but there's not too many choices. Terminator is probably my favorite game there. -No IMAX. I don't like having to drive to Lansing or Grand Rapids for one of the best screens available yet. -Few limited release options Sometimes they'll get a movie that has a limited release, but it's hit or miss. It'd be awesome for some limited stuff that wasn't coming from India (not that those movies are bad, but again, I don't like to make the drive to GR or Lansing to watch movies). Only bad experiences I've ever had here are with other customers. All, but one, of the times I watched Jurassic World, people would talk obnoxiously loud. This isn't something I'm blaming the theater for, but just something to keep in mind when you watch a blockbuster any other time than opening night. read more

Sometimes the popcorn is stale, but the location close to campus makes it perfect for a break from studying to catch the latest blockbuster or attend a special event showing. The staff is always friendly and usually open to talking movies when business is slower. Nothing crazy amazing, but a good place to catch a show. read more

I would give them more stars, but this place is un-Godly expensive. It was $15 apiece on matinee tickets for two people (yes it was D-box) and $17 for popcorn and drinks. That was a whopping $47. Yes, D-box added to the price, but it really isn't worth it. There isn't anything about it that makes it a $47 experience. read more

This theater has very few screens / showings (as of this review) compared to those in other cities bearing the same name. I was disappointed to see such a small space for what should be an enormously popular theater. I am a big fan of Celebration cinemas and enjoy watching movies in both IMAX and 3D regularly at other locations such as Lansing, MI. read more

A great establishment, but the prices are a little TOO MUCH.. $4 for a hot dog.. But the movie selection is decent. It would be awesome if they expanded it to 13 theaters, because there's only two huge screens (1 & 3), while the rest are tiny/decent. Besides the prices and the screen sizes, it is a great theater to check out the newest flick- just pray that you got theater 1 or 3. read more

Terrible horrible service. Rude employees serve cold popcorn. Management unhelpful and rude. They aren't even on fandango!
