Jill at the Pink Pelican Florist was a delight to deal with over the phone and by text. Several friends and I ordered a condolence bouquet for our friend's funeral. Here are some of the comments made after we saw the picture that Jill so graciously sent to reassure us. *One of the most beautiful floral arrangements I've ever seen! *Those flowers are truly gorgeous! * Absolutely lovely! *Stunningly beautiful! I had sent a picture of an arrangement to Jill... She captured the look and feeling perfectly.. even more beautifully!! she is a true floral artist!! Most sincerely, Donna from Denver read more

I called to order a birthday arrangement for my MIL's birthday, not knowing what to expect since many of the images on here are more wedding focused. The arrangement is nice, but I wouldn't say really $100 worth compared to other arrangements I've ordered elsewhere (sharing photo for reference). They said flowers would continue to bloom. read more

Amazing to work with. Jill helped to customize an incredible 3 tiered arrangement for my mother's bday (about 5' tall) and two months later they still have some surviving stems! read more

A few years ago I stepped in to get a boutonnière for my anniversary. The florist threw something together in about 5 minutes. It was beautiful. Fast forward to this Valentine's Day. I took my five-year-old on a "date." Again, I stopped in to get a super simple boutonnière for him. And yet again, they came through. My son was the sharpest dressed kid ever. A week or so ago we went by for a simple $10-15 arrangement for our neighbor. The florist asked our price point and went with it. It was perfect. Then today, I was on the receiving end of flowers. My family, who live in yet, had a beautiful bouquet delivered for my doctoral degree graduation. I am a customer for life. No more grocery store arrangements for us! read more

Pink Pelican Florist - Came home to a beautiful graduation bouquet. - Florists Near Me - Sebastian, Florida

I ordered flowers over the phone for a friend battling cancer. I asked for a colorful, tasteful bouquet to be delivered. My friend receives flowers quite frequently. She was so excited to receive this bouquet, saying it was the most beautiful arrangement of flowers she ever received. They lasted a long time. They brought so much joy to someone who is struggling. I cannot thank Mary enough for her assistance!!! She was wonderful. Well done Pink Pelican!!! read more

Mary is amazing. I usually send "boxed" flowers to my mom, and this year I thought I would try using a local florist. I picked this one because of the reviews and I was not disappointed! My mom has 5 other children so I will advise them that you are the go to florist for us! Thank you for making her Christmas merry and gorgeous! read more

I chose Pink Pelican instead of FTD or 1800 flowers cause I heard not only are you supporting the local economy but you also get better quality flowers and more for your money. Well the choice was perfect. I sent the flowers to my mom and came to visit later that day. I was extremely happy to see what I ordered and how good it turned out. These people obviously take a lot of pride In the business and provide the best flowers available. I was very impressed and will certainly use these folks again in the future. I am sure my mom won't mind receiving more flowers, specially when they look this good. Thanks ! read more

Pink Pelican Florist - Beautiful arrangement ! - Florists Near Me - Sebastian, Florida

Put an order in online hoping to get same day delivery. The florist called me shortly after to go over the order and make sure they had the types of flowers I wanted. If I remember the florist's name was Jill, she was so accommodating of the flower order and the time of delivery (which was the same day) and thrilled the recipient, my sister had come home to a beautiful flower arrangement. I also received a text from the florist, stating the flowers were delivered safe and sound ... thank you Pink Pelican for your amazing service !!! read more

Jill did such an amazing job listening to the vision we had and executing so well on our wedding day. The bouquets, the centerpieces, the ceremony arbor, and all the custom things we asked for were so well done. I can't recomend Jill and her company enough!!! read more

This is THE place for beautiful flowers and the BEST customer service!! Pink Pelican has been my 'go to' florist for several years now. I've reviewed them before, but I had to write another. Mother's day was fast approaching, and with everything going I wasn't sure what I was doing about anything, let alone flowers for Mom! About 2 weeks before Mom's Day, I get a phone call from the PP explaining that they were doing a limited amount of Mother's day flowers, as supplies were hard to get, and as a regular customer, they wanted to know if I would like to order flowers for my Mom....YES PLEASE, THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! The orchids were AMAZING and STILL are! My very picky Mom is still raving about them, as well as my Dad and Uncle too!! Thank you SO much Pink Pelican!!! read more

Live in NY but needed a local florist and their reviews are the reason I chose them. Jill was wonderful on the phone, couldn't be happier.

I was very disappointed with my first arrangement. Once Jill at the Pink Pelican saw my review she was very pleasant and went out of her way to fix it. She sent me a beautiful arrangement and I will defiantly use them again. read more

Pink Pelican Florist - Beautiful - Florists Near Me - Sebastian, Florida

Beautiful flowers, great quality and taste. My bouquet was gorgeous. Great to plan with even remotely. Highly recommend.

We used Pink Pelican Florist for our wedding, which took place at the Vero Beach Hotel & Spa. We were extremely happy with their service. I can't say enough good things about Jill. She was amazing! She listened to us and asked all the right questions. She was very attentive and reassuring. We were confident everything was in good hands. They decorated for the ceremony (aisle runner, lanterns, pew flowers, hanging bud vases from the trellis and decorative fountain flowers/ferns) and provided our bouquets, boutonnieres and flower girl petals. The crew arrived right on time as scheduled and we didn't see anything until just before the ceremony. Everything turned out beautiful just like we had imagined! I highly recommend Pink Pelican for any floral/event needs! read more

I cannot say enough good things about Jill and the Pink Pelican. We hired them to do just about everything for our wedding at the Caribbean Court in Vero Beach, from the flowers and table decor to the beach ceremony setup (arch, chairs, music/mic through her husband's work, walkway). We live out of town (San Diego) so I thought it might be difficult doing all of this over email but Jill immediately understood what we were going for and executed it so well - it was flawless and a wonderful price. Jill, thanks again for the giant umbrellas - it was hot, hot, hot on the beach! Brides, use Jill and you won't be disappointed. read more

My first experience with Jill and Jamie of Pink Pelican Florist was five years ago when my eldest daughter decided to have a destination wedding in Vero Beach Florida. All of the planning and preparation had to take place over the phone and via the internet because I live in Pennsylvania. I cannot praise Jill enough for the way she maintained constant communication with me during the entire planning period. In addition, she truly listened to what my daughter's vision was for her wedding and then designed the most gorgeous flowers for the wedding. We were extremely impressed when we saw the incredible things Jill proved she could do with floral design. She has creativity beyond compare! My daughter really loves orchids so Jill went to town with orchids! They were strung from the chuppah along with beautiful crystals and candles, they were inside cylinders, they were floating in water, and they were repurposed, too! After the ceremony, all of the flowers were used again during cocktail hour as well as on the place card table and the party favor table. All of our wedding guests were in love with the flowers and I received many compliments about all of the details to which Jill paid attention. Fast forward...five years later, when I start planning my younger daughter's wedding, we spent months searching for a florist. Since the wedding would be in Pennsylvania, we thought that we would explore our options locally. Well, let me just say that after meeting with 5 or 6 florists, we decided there was no comparison to Jill at Pink Pelican! Regardless of their prices, their designs and vision were not impressive at all. When I asked for a sample of what they could do based on a photo I found on Pinterest, the result was horrendous! One of the florists actually put together something with artificial greens and though I wouldn't notice. Really? I took a chance and called Jill on the phone to ask if she knew someone in the Northeast that could decorate the wedding in a similar fashion as she did five years ago. To our very lucky surprise, Jill offered to drive flowers and her fabulous designs all the way up north for us (Pink Pelican is located in Sebastian Florida). Jill informed me that they love to travel and that August was a perfect month! I couldn't believe it! I was thrilled at first. Then I thought, I must be crazy to expect a florist from Florida to drive twenty hours away to do a job for a wedding (and it wasn't a huge wedding either only 160 guests). Anyway, let me just say.....not only did Jill do a magnificent job (the wedding was yesterday), it was better than we could have imagined! Everyone was raving about the flowers! Even the people from the venue were amazed and said they had not ever seen anything like it! It was like an enchanted, organic garden with the biggest garden roses that smelled heavenly! Jill from Pink Pelican is reliable and trustworthy, and her prices are very reasonable. Her creativity is unmatched. She always checked with me either by calling, texting, or emailing about new ideas she was coming up with for the wedding flowers. Nothing was overlooked, my daughter was ecstatic, and I am thrilled to be able inform anyone reading this review what a pleasure it is to work with this very special and talented florist. If you choose Pink Pelican as your florist, you can trust Jill's magic touch and be confident that you are in good hands! read more

Such beautiful arrangements!! I got a floral arrangement for Thanksgiving and it was so lovely! I got so many compliment on the beautiful flowers. So many bright colors. Very vibrant!! read more

Received a very simple, sophisticated, arrangement of double lilies last week...Just so lovely!

My husband and I got married in Vero Beach, FL in May. Being from Chicago, this was a destination wedding. We had a very small and intimate wedding and to be honest, flowers were not high on our list as they don't last and we would rather spend extra money on entertaining our traveling guests. Pink Pelican was the 1st florist I spoke with and though I was taken aback by her intimidating and almost rude email stating that I will not find a better florist for the price and quality; that their reputation speaks for its self and I will be lucky to find a florist to do our small order (3 bouquets, 4 boutonnieres, and 2 corsages) the week of Mother's day, we decided to work with them as there were no bad reviews and prices were comparable with other florists. Jill was pleasant over the phone in making final arrangements and a few months later when we met her to confirm the order in which she took extensive notes. On the big day, we came to realize (while I was putting the corsage on my Mom 10 minutes before the ceremony) that the entire order was incorrect. The orchids in the boutonnieres and corsages that I had ordered were replaced with mini roses and the ribbon on my bouquet was wrong, as was the bridesmaids which had teal ribbon when I had specifically asked for white. I emailed Jill when returned home to let her know that order was wrong and not expecting anything in return, just thought it would only be fair to let her know since they speak so highly of themselves and their reputation. She apologized and wanted to make it right so my husband called her at her request where she apologized again over and over, stating she got another customers notes mixed up with ours, AND ready for this - she knew that she wasn't able to get the orchids and purposely didn't tell me because she said that she finds telling brides before the wedding that their requested flowers are not available only causes more problems so she waits to explain until after the wedding. I don't know who she has worked with in the past but I value honesty and trust and would have been fine if the orchids were unavailable if I had been given the option to pick something else. Instead I get mini roses - I really hate roses... Anyhow, she offered a partial refund to make up for it. Now almost a month later - no refund. My husband called her back and she had the audacity to argue with him saying my bridesmaids saw them and approved (they don't know what I ordered), then said I said they were fine (I did not see them), then said she had a death in the family (I understand sincerely as we did too the day we returned home from our honeymoon), and offered excuse after excuse. I don't want excuses, I paid for something I did not receive and was OFFERED a refund, and didn't get that either. The conversation ended with Jill basically telling my husband that we are cheap (we paid her $700) and it's not her problem that we couldn't afford our f'n wedding and hung up on him. I have never worked with anyone that spoke so highly of their reputation, quality and 23 years in business for them to work in such an unethical and crude manner. I don't expect anything at this point from Pink Pelican, the disappointment is enough, but I relied on reviews for my planning and hope to help any future destination brides with the insights of our experience with Pink Pelican. read more
