Lululemon, Untuckit, Northface, Macys are some of our favorite for shopping. It is nice to have an Apple store and Wisconsin bookstore there as well! Gigi cupcakes is always a must, as their cupcakes are so fun and tasty! We also really enjoy the Great Dane there! It is also just a great area to go and walk around! The parking can be hard, but they do have a ramp and a parking lot that we never have an issue finding a spot. Can't wait to come back here when in the area again!

Conversely, Greenway is never over-crowded, parking is easy to find, and during the spring/summer seasons you can get your daily dose of vitamin D while you shop. The selection of shops is much smaller, yes, but the Center also houses the higher-end, but still commercial, boutiques that you can't find elsewhere in Madison (e.g. White House Black Market - one of my favorite boutique shops from back home). Solo shopping at Greenway is definitely one of my favorite ways to spend a sunny Sunday afternoon. :)

This is just a review for the pharmacy and the so called "empathetic pharmacist". A pharmacist here…read moretold me that my PTSD was not real. She also raised her voice about my medication to the point where other people on the chairs in line were staring at me. That's a HIPPA violation by the way and has been reported as such. Also, the woman made a joke of "you don't look like a soldier" when I brought up my PTSD. I have been in contact with Walmart corporate and they are appalled by the situation and sending people to this Walmart to evaluate the situation and/or fire them. I have never been so humiliated in my life and I'm glad corporate is taking it as seriously as they are. I highly recommend going to any other pharmacy in galena. Also, the pharmacist trying to tell me my doctor (who is triple board certified by the way) was wrong and she "knew better" about my medications is highly illegal and I find it very suspicious that Walmart hired pharmacists who so clearly do not follow the law. Pharmacists can lose their license for HIPPA violations like this but it's entirely on them. Shouldn't have gone into the field if you don't follow the law.

How crazy is it that Iowa City has one of the last remaining successful ped malls in the US? Back…read morein the day there were hundreds in the country, now less than 50 remain. It's no wonder Iowa City's pedestrian mall is thriving as it boasts amazing locally owned eateries, shops and businesses. I adore the attention to detail with painted benches, amazing murals and the ICDD consistently bringing art installations to the Ped Mall. Additionally, there is a nice new accessible playground in the middle, along with a great stage area. There is shade, plenty of seating-- it is great for people watching!
