First time here. Overall it was a good place to bowl! There was no issues whatsoever with loading the fame or lane. We didn't order any food since we were not staying for too long Negative: I paid attention when we got to our sitting - before us there was a couple in the spot we were assigned and I did not see anyone cleaning and disinfecting the balls, table our sits after they finished playing and left. Dumbs down for that! They should be disinfected every single time a new group comes in , specially because of Covid....reason for my 2 start rating.

Absolutely terrible arcade. Came here to celebrate and almost nothing works! So many games that look like they are working have broken card readers. At least 3/4 of the games don't work. Frustrated kids and parents. Wasted our money on the same 3 games that did work. Couldn't find anyone that works there. Several games took our money and we couldn't play. Very disappointing.

Jason provided excellent service and made sure we had a great time celebrating a few birthdays. Bowling was great food and drinks were awesome!

What fun! The bowling lanes are really well done and the whole place looked relatively clean and was comfortable (seating was good for bowling configuration). The system glitched a few times and was difficult to navigate - not super intuitive - but since we were there with the kids, we just moved on. The food was pretty good, considering it's a bowling alley and not a restaurant. My only real issue with the place and why it's not 5 stars is the cost. For an evening out, it was actually quite expensive at $60 for four of us to bowl for an hour and rent shoes. When I added another 30 min, it was $22. Maybe I'm just getting older or out of touch with what things cost, but this felt high - especially since we also had a $60 dinner bill for two adult meals, two kid meals, and two scoops of ice cream (no drinks). We'd be back here all the time if it were cheaper, but will save this spot for special occasion and nights out.

Well my friends and I were looking for a place to have a few cocktails and wings on a Sunday evening without having to watch football good luck with that. Anyway we stumbled across here. The bar was empty overall but clean with plenty of seating so we decided to give it a try. Samantha was our bartender and waitress her service was OUTSTANDING! From the time we entered she made sure we were taken care of right and had no problem replacing our wings when we complained they were too salty! She didn't miss a beat. This made our experience very warm and inviting at celebrity lanes. One area of the business that in my opinion could use a little bit more attention are the bathrooms, most of the toilets were unflushed and filled with tissue. Overall it was a good experience with good food and friendly atmosphere and I'm likely to return

Celebrity Lanes. Headquarters for this season's bowling league. A league named "3 finger ass pain", a team I didn't name, but play on. -_- Now I've been to my fair share of bowling alley's but this one is by far, one of the biggest and nicest I have been to! WHY? STAFF: On point, organized and make the experience that much better. Our league has a section we play in, and servers are always present, bring our orders promptly and engage in friendly conversation! Each week, gets better! Even just paying our league fee's and getting our shoes is easy peasy! Any questions, concerns or just wonderings are answered, without hesitation and make us feel at home! SPACE/VIBES: Located in the bustling area in Aurora near S Parker Road, there is plenty of places to eat, drink, shop and park in this area! Inside is wide open and has a modern feel! Booths are cozy, red in color and large! Both sides of the building are filled with lanes, a small arcade for the kiddos and Jackson's is attached - for our food and booze needs! The vibe here is very welcoming, filled with locals and leagues alike. I wasn't sure what to expect in first joining, but was pleasantly surprised. PRICING: If you're bowling for a night or a league, prices are reasonable, along with shoe rentals! $5/person! As for food and booze, you're able to order from Jackson's and have anything delivered! They offer various discounts and offers while playing games as well! Because our league just started, I know i'll be back!

This was the single worst experience from beginning to end, from the food, to the service to the bowling. I can not tell you how disappointed I was with Celebrity Lanes. I realize they are new to the area and just opened up so I could excuse some of it, but so many things went wrong without resolution I have to give them the dreaded 1 star review. Had they tried to fix anything I would have given them the benefit of the doubt. So here it is, let me bottom line it for you: 1) Food - 35 Minute wait for food in an empty restaurant only to get our food and have it be wrong (did I mention we ordered hot dog brat & fries). Plus, I had to ask multiple times for refills. I asked someone for a refill (our waiter was MIA most of the meal) and the guy said, sure I'll get you one and disappeared! Plus the food was incredibly basic and honestly snack bar quality. Since they built this giant bar/grill I guess I expected better. 3) Expensive - $42 for 3ppl to bowl for 1 hour. Oh, and they keep the balls behind the counter so you have to schlep you ball with you to and from the lane?! If you have kids you know how insane this is! I don't even really get why they do this. I also didn't like that they only rent lanes by the hour (no per game rate) and they really discourage prepaying for bowling (which felt really weird). I mean we had to get a a manager to prepay for just an hour.....um, okay? 4) Multiple mechanical errors - We had so many problems with our lane it wasn't even funny. It didn't set the pins right, our balls got stuck, on and on for I don't know a dozen or so frames! We called and asked for help, no one came. My husband talked to the manager - he promised to add time and get it fixed; neither happened. 5) Customer Service - we asked in the restaurant, the alley and at reception for resolution to our many, many problems and we did not have one thing addressed! In fact they even promised things they didn't deliver. This is what really drives my 1 star review. It was such a terrible experience we will never be back. I am so disappointed! I was so excited to see it open, it is such a huge let down.

I came after I picked my son up from his after care program and there was no employee in sight for about 15 minutes. We ended up just grabbing clubs and doing putt putt. At the end there was a teenager who came out when we had gone through probably 8-9 holes and he said "Excuse me, who checked you out?" And I said "No one. No one was here and we weren't gonna wait all night." He was like "I am the manager on shift and that's not true." Clearly trying to not be in trouble. It was absolutely inappropriate the way he treated everyone in there. I don't know what they were doing that whole time but the lack of responsibility they took for not being present where they needed to be was ridiculous. I will call back later and speak to the general manager and pay for the round we did but in my opinion, the kid working should be fired. The cash register was left unmanned, plus all the merchandise, the main door open, the self service card reader wasn't working, there was zero attention to customers. I work with high school students and 98% of them would be more responsible than this. It was completely unprofessional!

Because the wrist bands that come with the birthday package can be used at a different time if they arent activated the day of the party. Never made it to bowling but you could:) Teenage boys had a full 4 hours of running around and I am sure we will do it again next year. Went to Boondocks Parker location on Friday this week and lord was it busy. I'm assuming they had…read moreschool field trips. Like the last time I went, it had its ups and downs and most of them weren't the fault of the employees but rather the guests. It was busy but overall the lines weren't as bad as they could have been. Our main issues came on dark ride when my youngest son, who finally is tall enough for it, could not get his glasses to stay on. Boondocks needs to invest in kid sized 3D glasses. They cater to kids this should not be an issue. Next came laser tag. Once again my youngest had some difficulties, but the attendant, who wasn't wearing a name tag but made sure to introduce herself, was quick to help get her vest adjusted. When she told me her name I realized I already knew her! The last time we went she was working the dark ride, her name is Cydney if anyone from Boondocks's reads this, when she gave her speech she made sure both sides were aware that smaller kids were in the arena and to watch out. She had the same attentiveness as last time and was quick to fix the issue when my vest wasn't working. We met Chloe at the front desk and bowling counter. She explained the passes to us and helped us find the right one for us. I gotta say she definitely knows her stuff, and has a wonderful demeanor to go along with it. She was friendly and personable with a lovely smile. Go-Karts proved the most challenging. My youngest chose to sit out with his dad, so my daughter and I road together on them. The attendants were okay if a little distracted. The larger groups were crazy, teenagers made the ride less than pleasant and while the attendants caught on and helped wrangle them it was still not as fun as it could have been. We ate at the restaurant and the food was okay, not the best but not the worst. The arcade was not as clean as it was last time but with the sheer number of people I wasn't that surprised I did see a worker with orange dyed hair cleaning up so they were really trying their best. We didn't cash our tickets in this time, but we were informed that we could save them for later. Overall all even though they were busy each of inside workers were amazing at their jobs and really made us feel at home, the outside kids could maybe use a little bit of a refresher. Boondocks always proves to be a great family outing and I will continue to bring my kids there, even with everything that wasn't perfect I'm still giving five stars because what they lacked, they made up for in hospitality.

And here's the thing, even if you've never experienced what I experienced, this place is going to annoy you on its own merits. The arcade is a disaster. They're running a bootlegged championship edition of Street Fighter... which, fine, whatever. But NOT ONE game I touched had working joysticks. Mortal Kombat? Dead. Street Fighter? Dead. The Simpsons? Dead. I mean, if you're going to be an arcade bar, maybe... maintain the damn arcade? the old fashioned tasted fine cubes like a 7-Eleven, not the big rock you'd expect from a bar charging those prices. Details matter, people. The place was pretty packed, which tells you everything you need to know about Greenwood Village... they're just desperate for options out there.

This one hurts. I don't really want to invest the effort in one-star reviews unless it's earned…read more First, these days it's hard to find a place to buy retail bowling equipment from to begin with. So I actually started looking through the Yellow Pages until I found one. This was one of the closest to my house, and I liked the guy I talked to. So, I went in with the intent of buying something. He told me over the phone that he didn't accept credit cards which I should have considered a red flag but I ignored. After a lengthy discussion which included some genuinely good advice I agreed to buy a new bowling ball, a bag and a pair of shoes. I paid cash under the terms that I would get the goods in a couple of weeks and he would throw in a one-hour lesson. That was in November. About a month later after no fewer than 2-3 phone calls on my part, I got the ball and bag but no shoes. I was reassured that the shoes were on back-order but would show up soon and were uncommon because I'm left-handed. I never got them. It's April now. It's time to write a review. I will admit I got half of my free 1-hour lesson and it changed the way that I bowl. I'm a way better bowler and I can finally hook it. But I'm still a little pissed that this guy basically took $100 of my money for shoes and my last half hour of lessons and ran. I appreciate the lessons I got, and I would still recommend this place for bowling lessons, but I would recommend against paying for anything that you don't get the same day. Especially left-handed bowling shoes. I haven't called him since December, but should you really have to call someone 4-5 times to get what you paid for 5 and 1/2 months after promised? Be very careful if you do business with this place.
